I purchased this during a storm to replace a "life-time guaranteed" one I'd had a few years that was peeling apart. LL Bean no longer stands behind its brand and this will be my last purchase.

I haven't actually worn this in the rain yet, but it fits well and the sleeves are long enough, which is always a concern for me being 5'9" with a long torso and arms. Ideally I would make the body 1-2 inches longer to protect more from the rain but it works comes down to the middle of my bottom. It's a tiiiiny bit tight around the bottom because I'm pretty pear shaped, but a size up would be way too loose everywhere else. The hood also covers well without falling into my face. I'm most disappointed in the "clover" color it looks like a lighter, springy green in the photo but in real life it's closer to a forest or army green. Would've probably chosen a different color but at this point I will keep it.

Good fit. I'm between a med and sm and got a medium so I can layer underneath it. Wore it hiking in the wind and rain and was very happy with it. Love the cinch cords for the hood. Zip pockets are a big plus too.

Beautiful jacket, beautiful color blue! lightweight And not hot at all even in the summer rain. Looks great with nice detailing. Love the Velcro around wrists and zipped pockets. Would highly recommend this jacket!

I went for a walk on a rainy day and accidentally walked into a large area filled with thorn bushes. I had no choice but to continue forward. I could hear the thorns hitting and sliding across my new Trail Model Rain Jacket. When I got home, I looked the jacket over and there was not one tear or snag. I love my jacket so much. That jacket is worth every penny I paid for it.

This rain jacket is just what I was looking for. It has nice, deep pockets that zip, deep inside pockets, and a very good-sized chest pocket. The sleeves are quite long, but the velcro tabs allow me to keep the sleeves at my wrists. I ordered the Medium and it's just right. I was wearing a sweatshirt and added a fleece jacket before trying this jacket on to see if I could layer it, and it was still fine. I'm considering ordering it in another color. Just in time for our big rainstorm!

Took this rain jacket to Ecuador and it held up great against afternoon rain showers with a light fleece underneath.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. I am 5'5", 130 pounds and bought a size small. The fit couldn't be any more perfect. The jacket length and sleeve length are just right. I bought the navy, and it's exactly as I pictured it. I haven't worn it in rainy weather yet so I cannot comment on that. If you're looking for a nice looking, lightweight rainproof jacket, this is it. I can't think of anything I would change.

The Jasper Yellow is a great, fun color in pouring rain, and I stayed dry (at least from the hips up). I bought it for a bike ride on the Trail of the Hiawatha, rail trail, and we were in heavy rain for 5 of the 15 miles. Mud flipped from my fat tires and covered my back, the coat handled the washing machine great! I bought it big because I wanted room for layers, it was perfect. The hood fit over my helmet, the pockets were nice and roomy, for stuff. I plan on using it for years as I work and play outside. I'm really pleased!

I bought this coat for a two week trip to Iceland. It was perfect for the rainy 50 windy weather. We went behind a waterfall with lots of spray and I was dry underneath when we emerged 20min later. It rolls up easily to go into a back pack and has a hood that can be cinched. The pockets are big enough to put your hands into, put a pair of gloves or hat in. Inside of the coat, you can also use the pocket created by the mesh of the real pocket since the bottom of the pocket is sewn to the coat. I have a large chest and the coat wasn't stretched across even wearing a long sleeve shirt and a puffy vest underneath. My large Samsung S8 plus phone fit into the breast pocket, along with a lip balm. Would buy again in a heart beat!!

Kept me dry during some recent torrential Texas rains. Comfortable fit and roomy enough to layer over sweaters. Built in storage pocket is nice. Lots of velcro which make for quick adjustments as needed.

Very nice. I usually take a sz L but since I'm using as a rain coat for my trip to Ireland I want to be able to fit a sweater under it so I got XL. I like it.

Petite mediun size was perfect for me and kept me dry through my travels. I'm short - hood was a little too big for me and I kept having to pull it back.

Perfect light jacket to carry around. I needed an all around light, waterproof jacket. It looks good, fits well. Just what I wanted.

I two raincoats like this years ago. I loved them. My financial state prevented me from purchasing another when the last one wore out (they do wear out after a long time!) I purchased a cheaper version by another company - waste of money!
The L.L. Bean's raincoat is excellent. I love it! Kept me dry in a monsoon type storm. My pants, shoes and socks were soaked - but where the raincoat covered - dry as a bone! thank you.

This Women's Trail Model Rain Jacket feels like it was sewn just for me. Sleeve length, hood size and bust measurements fits this full busted gal comfortably. I knew it was mine as soon as I put it on.

After trying several Bean jackets and returning them, I kept this one although it is adequate it is not the perfect one. I wish it had a very light weight lining especially in the sleeves. The unlined fabric is uncomfortable on my arms and think it would soften the jacket all around. I used it in a light rain situation and repealed the water...and hope it will work for downpours and provide a barrier against the wind. Perhaps Bean will redesign and add a lining...then it would be 100%

Lightweight and works even in a downpour. The length is good. So glad to see a bright color available for walking on rainy, foggy days.
