I bought this jacket nearly 2 years ago. It kept me warm and dry through a huge winter storm with lots of snow and temperatures dropping -20 Fahrenheit. I was walking outside in it with a couple of layers underneath and felt great. I continued to wear it during spring and fall. It's light and has a lot of functional pockets. The outside pockets are deep enough to hold cell phones, keys, scarf. It doesn't overheat me when wearing in the spring and fall, but manage to keep me warm during cold winter. It's worth the high price tag Last year I bought a 2nd one, in the blue color. For some reason, it didn't have the same warmth. I returned it. My plan is to purchase another one, more neutral color like black for myself, and the purple one for my mom. Hopefully they are the same quality as of my 1st one. That one is still holding strong. This jacket was my 1st purchase from LLBEAN and I had such a good experience that I have since bought more things.

The arms fit tightly when wearing a fleece underneath.

I bought this last fall to wear while in Ireland this spring. It was perfect! Not heavy, but still warm. Great length, lining makes it easy to put on & take off. Bought my husband one as well & he really likes his too! Great purchases!!

I originally ordered same jacket in med. regular but a little snug. So ordered the petite large which gives me a little more room for wearing a sweater underneath. Sleeve length is about the same.

Great jacket! Cute, fits well and so versatile! It took me a while to take the plunge and buy it but I'm glad I did. Really like the purple. Would like an exterior chest pocket - the men's version has 2, but even so, I love it.

Took on an early Spring trip to Japan where there were days of downpour and sometimes snow was still on the ground. Totally waterproof but breathable and mid weight. I loved its packaway feature for easy travel too!

Perfect fit, XS for 5'6" 106 lb. wife; comfort, tailoring/cut/color are fashionably attractive; for the lightness, it is surprisingly warm (not intended to be an arctic parka level, but excellent in cold breezy drizzling/light rain conditions); we are glad we spent the money for this one.

I am very pleased with this jacket... it fits well, sheds the rain nicely, and I love all the adjustable features and the many pockets!

Great jacket -- fits well and works well in my intensely windy and rainy travels! It keeps me dry and warm all through the journey. It's easy to clean in machine; however, I'd recommend turning it inside out to dry -- otherwise, the outer shell will be blocking moisture from evaporating -- took me a bit to figure that out.

Great color, deep inside pocket for valuables, light weight and warm.

This is the jacket I didn't know I needed, until I did! I spent a few days wearing this in jacket in downpours and wind, and during some very chilly dry morning walks. It outperformed other jackets I have worn, especially in these conditions. The pockets hold tissues, gloves, and a small eyeglass case, and the inside pocket easily holds my phone. I'm about 5ft 5in, wear size 14, did get an XL, and I'm able to cinch the waist in nicely. I did somewhat size up so that I could layer under the jacket if I wanted to. I am very happy with this purchase!

Love this coat for all seasons! Lots of pockets and long enough to keep your body warm!

I have used this jacket for at least two seasons now and love it. I have worn it for hiking with no complaints. It is my go-to jacket for running errands and taking walks on cold, windy New Hampshire days. I like the length and the curved hem on the back for good coverage when it's cold. It has deep, roomy pockets and a very serviceable hood. The cuffs on the sleeves are snug without being tight and can be made tighter by adjusting the velcro. It washes well. I do wish it had a two-way zipper, but other than that, it is perfect.

I love how easily the coat is packed into the zipper pocket. The internal zipper pocket is ideal for keeping important items secure. The coat is warm and comfortable and not too heavy. The coat was flexible enough to be hiking on a rocky path and warm enough to keep me comfortable on a windy boat next to a glacier in Argentina.

Love this jacket. I haven't given it the full rain test yet. But it passes the comfort and warmth test! I purchased an xtra small only because they were out of smalls but it fit perfectly, I am 5' 1" and 114 pounds.

The jacket I chose is a flattering light blue with quasi vertical pocket flattering pocket zippers. It includes a cap if you when you put it in, you were not expecting rain. As a light weight garment, it will take very little space in my suitcase for my next major travels. It's worth it. Karina NYC

The jacket is warm, but not too long and it is absolutely waterproof. I love it.

A most perfect jacket for the rainy and cold Western Washington winters. I have worn it almost everyday since buying it last Fall. I walk miles a day no matter the weather with my dog. This jacket keeps me warm and I bought a size large. It is a nice roomy fit for me as I have broad shoulders. I like how light it is, yet still warm. I am 5"8" tall and weigh 145lbs. I usually buy my jackets when they are on sale. I like the purple color. This one I paid full price and I think it was worth every penny.

I enjoy my new jacket. It's lite weight is pleasant for the upcoming warmer days. This is going to be a new experience of fun.

This coat is even better than I anticipated. I was replacing a worn weatherproof beloved coat I used for watching outdoor sports and braced myself to be disappointed but I could not love this more. The inner drawstring is a great feature as well as the inside pocket. The hood can be drawn tight around your face or left loose for light rain. Wishing for poor weather to be able to wear it again! Love the petite option - sleeves are the perfect length!

So glad I bought this coat for my travel in February. While lightweight, it kept me warm and protected against the cold winds of winter. I liked the color and structure of this coat. I would recommend it!

Great all weather jacket. Worn in the rain and stayed dry. Lightweight but warm. I am able to layer under it. Only negative is that the cuff fabric on the inside of the sleeve at the wrist should color match the jacket. Otherwise I love it!

Excellent coat to wear during peak winter which is light weight for commuting or driving.
