Fits well, looks nice, and is warm. Construction is top notch. Looked at many other jackets and this one fit the bill perfectly. I live in the Pacific Northwest and this is the right jacket for this climate.

Received this for an early Christmas present. The material is great. Overall warmth is fantastic. Quality is yet to be beat. Best warm-up jacket ever.
I used to own a warm-up jacket from L.L. Bean many years ago. I outworn it and had to give it to Goodwill because I just could not fit into it any longer. I hated getting rid of it.
Now I have another one and remember the warmth, craftsmanship that went into making this jacket.
You will not be disappointed. If you do not like this jacket then you are missing out on comfort and quality. You really won't be disappointed.

previous lands end squall owner (loved it, but this had tall sizes and, well, CAYENNE!) fit is perfect, elastic cuff and waist seem to be as good as those on my 30yo bean bomber jacket which stiil spring back, and even the inside chest pocket zips.
all in all, the perfect 15-35 degree jacket for me.

This is a replacement for an old warm-up jacket that has covered many miles and two graduate degrees. I haven't even worn it outside yet, but it promises to be just as well-made and useful as the old one.
This one has an improvement; the old one's fleece-lined sleeves clung like Velcro to fleece or flannel shirts, making it clumsy to put on and take off. This one's nylon-lined sleeves fixes that problem.
But the old one had a cord for cinching the hem close around the hips/waist; this new one doesn't. No big deal, unless I'm out in high wind and bitter cold.
As usual, I'm glad I bought from Bean.

This is the second jacket I bought for my Hubby. He loves it! It keeps him warm (he's always cold)all winter. It's machine washable which I love and there was no shrinkage at all! Hubby happy and so am I. Great purchase for the money!!

This Warm-up Jacket really works. Body and sleeves give comfortable inside temperature at outside temperatures down to the twenties.

Very satisfied. Fits well for a Large and Regular length. I ordered a 2nd "flannel-lined" LL Bean jacket with this one. I also ordered a competitors "flannel-lined" jacket. This "fleece-lined" one was noticeably warmer - as noted in the catalog "temperature-rating" for each. I returned the other 2. It's been 2 - 3 weeks with temps down to 30 and I remained VERY SATISFIED with this choice. The other 2 were not as warm for these temperatures.

I purchased one of these jackets last year and have enjoyed it so much, I bought another in a different color. I wear this in the spring, fall and winter, and it always keeps me nice and warm. After a year of wearing, it still looks as good as new.

These are great jackets - third one I've purchased. They just wear well from year to year. I've worn the others out. Great in temperatures from mid 20's to 50's. lightweight and great in the car.

I love this jacket and have two of them. However it is not warm below 30 degrees. It's a great jacket for spring or fall, and early winter. Do not buy it as a winter coat. It will not keep you warm below 30 degrees

Bought this jacket for myself just before this New England fall season. It has been a perfect jacket for the fall and I'm sure the spring. Outer fabric repels wind a rain and the stand up collar keeps your neck warm. Perfect amount of lining for cool days and nights. I bought the XL size to give me room for layering. I'm sure that I will be wearing this most of the winter as well. Highly recommend.

I bought this jacket for my husband as it is perfect for our moderately cold climate. He loves the color (as pictured) and it fits him well, especially the sleeves, which are just the right length -a welcome change. An added benefit would be an inside pocket for a wallet or cell phone, but the garment is well made, and I don't see the latter as a "con".

I love these jackets. I am a woman but you dont make this jacket for women. I most of all like the knited cuffs and fleece lining. I got a mans med because I wear over a sweatshirt or sweater. The last jacket I had like this lasted for over 25 years.

Excellent quality, fit and style. Warm and came just in time for fall-winter weather. Well worth the cost.

This jacket is as warm as many of my heavier weight jackets, and I can wear it on everything except the very coldest days ( of course I don't live in the snow country). But I will wear this when it is in the 40s to 50s over a long sleeved cotton Tee. It is cut well enough for layering so you "lower the temperature" with a sweater underneath. Excellent wind blockage and Bean quality. Fits true to size

I bought this jacket for two reasons. For wear when it is cold and when it is windy. I live in the south. So, I did not need a huge down parka jacket. However, I wanted a jacket thick enough to handle when it did get in the 30's and 40's. This jacket is thick enough to handle the wind and the cold in those temperatures it seem with proper layering. Most windbreakers are extremely thin. This one is quite thick, which I like. It also looks nice with khaki's and a button down. Good buy!
