At last, comfortable shoes that don't look too bulky. I was looing for great walking shoes for a trip to Europe and Merrell's Moabs felt too heavy and bulky. (I know, they are mean for hiking.) This pair is light, super comfortable and well cushioned. If those shoes are also waterproof as stated in the description, it will be an added bonus.

These sneakers were fabulous in every way. Loved the design and colors and fit was exception. I have bunions and sometimes need a wide width but these medium fit perfectly. They are easy to slip on because of the firm heel area. And mist of all they are exceptional fir maintaining balance. They were much better than the recent brooks sneakers designed for balance. I loved these sneakers. They deserved the positive reviews.

After reading the reviews, I took the advice to size up a half size and they were a perfect fit. That saved me another trip to drop off yet another pair of shoes to return to Zappos because they did not fit. As others have noted, they are ready to go out of the box without any break in time required. I do a lot of walking every day and a lot of garden work and they provide excellent support for these tasks. The colors are great and mix well with my wardrobe.

These shoes run large and it took 3 tries to find the right size. I bought these shoes for the Gore-tex waterproofing but unfortunately, they are not waterproof at all. I wore them on a rainy day and as my toes caught the edge of a puddle, I felt water come in. When I took the shoes off, the shoe and insole was wet in the toe area. Sadly returned them.

I'm a professional dog walker, so I go through a LOT of shoes. I often walk on trails and need good traction for wet, slippery surfaces. The Merrell MQM 3 has a grippy sole. They have a generous toe box and didn't need any breaking in. I love the bright colors! The one thing I would change is to add more padding under the heel, simply because I walk so many miles. There's room for gel pads.

Fit is great and they are roomy in the toe box. My orthotic insoles fit easily without being too tight. Flexible enough to make walking in them very comfy.

These shoes fit the same size as all the rest of my Merrills that I have been buying for a few years. The only difference I have found is the heal may not be as snug as previous. They do seem to be well-made. Colors are a little bit bright.

Love these shoes so much I purchased a second pair! The shoes are waterproof...great for getting outdoors in Portland.

So far these feel great. True to size and width. I previously tried the Merrell Bravada 2 shoes in both my usual size and a half size larger, but neither fit right so I returned them. For some reason this style fits me much better.

These are great! Fit true to size and have a wider toe box which everyone should have. Been on a few hikes and no complaints. Winner!!

Functional and stylish! Been looking for an athletic shoe light enough for city walking but sturdy enough for hiking and this one checks all the boxes. Really nice shoe for the price. As others have noted, there is plenty of room in the toe box. The cushioning is sufficiently comfy for pavement walking without using overly-squishy memory foam. The laces are even pretty, good quality and adjust easily (I am SO over hard-to-lace shoes where you need a degree in engineering to adjust the tightness). I bought the teal/orange combo and it's super cute, looks fantastic with skinny jeans.

I have worn Merrells for years and have loved every shoe-comfortable, stabilizing, attractive.

This is a very comfortable walking shoe with lots of support...and my feet hurt in flimsy shoes. Well made and considering making these trail shoes for shorter hikes.

I usually wear a 9-1/2 but I always order 1/2 size up for walking shoes. These fit well and felt comfortable. I don't have wide feet, but I need a decent toe box height and width and these worked (ordering 1/2 size larger). Unfortunately, the description says these are waterproof--Gortex. But there is no indication of Gortex on the shoe I received. The shoes that ARE Gortex, say Gortex (if you look at other sites--and from my experience with waterproof shoes). So I'll be sending these back and buying waterproof ones.

Very comfortable overall especially in step/ the sole and grip are great but the toe part felt a little tight. Worried that if I did actual hike in them all day, toe area will feel a little squished; not as wide as the old Merrell designs that I am used to from their older styles.

The fit is great and they are very comfortable; however, I bought these because they were described as waterproof. They are not. Walking through dewy grass in the morning for about 50 feet is enough for the water to soak through. The waterproof description should be removed from this shoe.

Mostly comfortable and nice bright colors, but these shoes are NOT WATERPROOF and do not have any gore-tex membrane, contrary to the description. The version with gore-tex says GTX on the shoe and the color pattern is slightly different. Zappos needs to update its description!!!

These wear great and are roomy enough in the toe that my insoles fit perfectly. The soles are grippy and feel good when walking. I don't run so don't know about that. The one thing that is a major disappointment, though, is that these shoes are NOT waterproof. One step in water and my feet were soaked. This was a main reason for buying these so really disappointing. I would recommend of you want a good trail walking shoe not do not expect protection from water.
