Not #1 on my priorities but these were very nice looking. Look very good with jeans. The lighter color is also nice for Summer hiking. Also (and why I am writing this review) VERY supportive. I felt it from the time I put them on. Roomy toe box but not snug. The structure of them is form fitting while being soft and comfortable.
I wear an 8.5 in work shoes but always size up for walking or hiking shoes. For these I ordered a 10 which was perfect. Enough room for feet swelling.
I will say I wish they came in a wide so I could wear them longer in the season. I would be afraid they would feel tight if I wore my wool hiking socks for 5-6 hour hike.

I have size 11, narrow feet and these are perfect! They fit true to size for me and are lightweight. The shape is nice and they don’t make my feet look like canoes like most shoes do.

An excellent fit - very roomy for the toes. I love the way the tongue is attached so it doesn't slip to the side as you walk yet still stretches enough for easy access. Also one the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.

I wore them around the house for a few days to make sure I liked them. Then off to Costa Rica for 10 days of walking/hiking and exploring. Not a single problem with these shoes! They feel like they were made for my feet. Pura Vida

Merrill is always a solid win for me. I bought these for a lightweight spring/summer shoe that will look less bulky than my Merrill Moab hikers do with shorts, skirts, or capri leggings. These are not for rough terrain or muddy hikes, but they are perfect for all day comfort and long walks. I am going to add elastic no tie laces as I do for all of my shoes

I really like these shoes. My family and I love to go for walks at the park with our dogs everyday and these are comfortable and have held up well. Very happy with this purchase.

I have two pairs of Merrell hiking shoes. One pair, bought for a Colorado hiking trip five years ago, is still in rotation. Another pair, bought in Summer 2023 for a fall hiking trip in Avignon France, is also in use. Because these two pairs are so comfortable, I bought the Bravada 2 trail shoe for, ironically, running indoors during winter with some strength training. I wanted a comfortable toe box and lots of cushioning so I could ease back into running. I like the heel loop that helps you get the shoe on quickly. I also wear these when I travel because they are so comfortable. Bonus, they go well with my standard travel outfit of leggings.

I decided that if I was going to finally get serious about walking, that I would need serious shoes in my favorite color. I love my Merrells! I have not skipped a day of morning walks since they arrived.

I've worn Merrell athletic/hiking shoes for almost 15 years and have never had a shoe run this wide. I have a medium (maybe slightly wide?) foot and the forefoot of this shoe is way too large -- too much volume and too wide. It also slips on my heel and rubs the outside ankle bone. Just not a good fit for me at all. The Bravada Edge fits me perfectly so I will keep that model and hope they don't all merge into this Bravada 2 sizing. Both styles are more difficult to slip on, as many reviewers have complained of -- I don't mind it at all because it gives such a snug fit --you just need to use a small shoehorn. I love not having a separate tongue that can slip around when you're walking.

The shoes fit true to size and are reasonably comfortable, and I like the style--not too bulky but not too low profile. However, the pair I received had two slightly different shoes. Besides being slightly different shades of gray, the laces are at different angles. Those on the left shoe are parallel to the tip of the shoe; those on the right shoe are at a different (and odd) angle relative to the tip of the shoe. It's not super noticeable, but now that I've seen it, I can't *not* see it (and it will drive me crazy if I keep them). Still trying to decide if I want to exchange them and hope for matching shoes next time, or if I want to just get a different style/brand altogether.

These are not what I expect of Merrells. Been buying them for years. These appear to be very flimsy. The arch support if very badly designed. Both my feet leaned inward. Thanks Zappo for you generous return policy. I've found most of my shoes on this website.

I was so looking forward to ordering the Merrall Bravada 2 shoe. I have a lot of Merrell sandles and shoes and I absolutely love the fit and the comfort, but this shoe was a whole different story. I wasn't able to get it in the wide width because they only make it in black, so I ordered Navy in an 11M to see how it would fit, but was very disappointed in trying to even get the shoe on!! Most shoes spread a bit for your foot to go into and then lace them, but this one does not. I got my foot in with a lot of pushing and pulling and decided that this shoe was not for me, so I am returning it. I think Merrell needs to rethink the tongue part of this shoe and design it with an actual tongue like most shoes!!

These shoes had a lot of pressure points - I tested them around the house for a day and I kept having to loosen the laces and retie - and I have narrow feet. No matter what I changed they still hurt and my feet felt crampy. They also look like old lady shoes. Merrell used to have such great designs. I wish they’d back up about 5 years and rehire those designers.
These seem smaller than my last few pairs of Merrells. Maybe a half size up would have made them more comfortable?

After breaking my fibula above the ankle, I had to move out of my mid-high boots and into a hiking shoe. I have a hard to fit foot with narrow heels but need a wide toe box, and given that I have ordered and returned at least ten pairs, am surprised Zappos has not blackballed me! But the good news is I found nirvana with these Merrell Bravada 2 hiking shoes. They are nice and roomy in the toe box, have a narrow enough heel that I am not slipping in and out. While. others have complained about it, I find the integrated tongue very comfortable. I love that feature. I did order a pair of the waterproof Bravada 2 and am sending them back--the tongue is not integrated, is bulky and the backs are much stiffer and my feet are slipping. But these Bravada non-waterproof shoes are super confortable--a nice amount of cushion and bounce but you can still feel the trail. They are grippy. Five stars from this hard to fit "princess and the pea!"

True to size, roomy toe box, cushy. This is the second pair I've bought. The laces are improved from the first pair I bought which is a good thing.
