I ordered these for my last trip to Iceland. Wore them as my every day shoe for the entire 9 day trip and they performed great. Very comfortable right out of the box. Excellence arch support. I’m normally have to put inserts in my shoes due to high arches and past plantar fasciitis, but these were great without inserts. Not great for rocky terrain as you can feel the rocks, but most hikers will know to switch to a thicker sole boot for those situations. They kept my feet dry and the one time an accidentally submerged my feet over my ankles the whole shoe including the inside dried reasonably fast. Would definitely recommend especially if arch support is important to you.

I wear a size 38 Euro 7.5 in most shoes but all of my Merrell shoes have been a size 8. These were fine in the length in size 8 women, but were tight across the forefoot with a thin sock. Moderate arch support. Secure heel cup for my average heel. I will return and seek them out in a size 8 wide, though I have very average feet without bunions, etc., and have never had to wear a wide, so I would say they run narrow. The lacing is wide across the top of the shoe which makes the foot appear wide (in the black with white laces). Not a deal breaker, but I did notice it.

These shoes are very comfortable. I wore them to Ireland for hiking and sightseeing. The are lightweight and 100% waterproof. I like that they aren’t bulky like traditional hikers. They have good arch support and provide great traction. I went up a half size as some of the reviews suggested and that was the right move.

If you're already sizing up a half size, as is recommended for most sneakers, that will be the right size. These run a little narrow. If you're deciding between 2 sizes or between normal width and narrow, go up. But these are cute and comfortable. They aren't taking any time to break in before I take them on a trip.

Extremely narrow through the toe box in medium width. Never have had that problem before. Opted not to try the wide, because the arch support wasn't as good as I was looking for.

I guess this style just isn't for me. 99% of the time I'm a 6 1/2 M. Those were way too small so I send them back for a 7 M. They fit better but still felt tight and skimpy. I have a high instep which you wouldn't think would be an issue in a low-cut shoe, but even in the 7's the laces didn't tighten all the way over my insteps. The're going back too.

Very comfortable and supportive sneaker, but I did have to go a full size up from my usual size 9. No worries, Zappos excellent return policy makes it easy to get the fit you need.
