I recently bought my Merrills to wear in Alaska. It rained 12 days out of the 14 days we were there. My feet were NEVER wet or even damp. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in the rain and stay dry. They were also a very comfortable hiking shoe.

Shoes are great, but delivery came 2 days later than promised so my shoes missed the flight! Had to buy shoes in Alaska and they were not Merrell, your competitor's shoes hiked in 5 different Alaska cities and Vancouver Canada - will never trust Merrell shipping :(

Great for wide feet. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that give my toes room. These work well.

I normally wear a size 9 wide, which is usually too big anyway, but these were just way too small for my feet. It's like trying to fit into a pair of size 7 shoes. Other than that, material seems high quality. I'm hoping to exchange these for some bigger ones if possible. I was so excited to wear these, too :(

Took them for their first test drive at Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Climbed 2 dunes. It was amazing! Feet didn't hurt at all after 5 miles and no sand in them either! You cannot go wrong with Merrell!

These fit like a glove and are SO comfortable! I have only worn them once, but I didn't want to take them off. I was torn between the under-ankle and over-ankle versions, but decided I will mostly wear them for day hikes so I picked the more shoe-like version. I'm very happy with the fit and the color. They arrived quickly. I'm an 11.5 (which no one makes) and I opted to go up to a 12 to ensure enough toe room and space for socks -- and I'm glad I did (and glad they make a women's 12!).

This runs short in the toes. It's low, so it slipped a little in the heel. Otherwise, really comfy and lightweight. Unlike many hiking boots, it didn't make my feet look huge, which was a plus. But it's going back because there wasn't enough room for my big toe.

Bought these for my Machu Picchu hike coming up. I've been breaking them in and they are comfortable from the start! They fit well, were sturdy with a good grip in touch terrain, and are very comfortable. I'm so glad I bought these!

Glad l chose the wide version. I took them on a couple of neighborhood walks and then a hike through mostly sand at Sleeping Bear. They survived well and kept sand out. Super comfortable with minimal breaking in.

Most comfortable sturdy shoe I have found and I wear these every day for the past ~5 years. No footpain at all, no matter how much walking I do. However, they are not waterproof. Both my first and second pair started letting in water after some period of use. Especially when stepping in a puddle, the water seeps in from the sides where the sole and rest of the shoe are joined.

This is the best hiking shoe Ive owned so far. Walking on trails, in caves and some small mountains these shoes were great! They were not too stiff and have great tread on the bottom. Did not feel slippage on rocks or stony trails.

The Moab 3 Waterproof wide width is a perfect fit for me. After trying on every brand available in all price ranges this was the most comfortable fit. After a decent trial period I can now say it is a great shoe. It slips on easily (unlike every other shoe I have owned) and is comfortable even after miles of walking on uneven ground and has a good non-slip grip on the rocks. I bought these after I had the same experience with the mid-height and I'll be ordering a back up pair of both. Please don't discontinue these.

Love the soles for getting through the woods for turkey season when insulated is too much. But these just don't do waterproofing. I've had 3 pair now, and the last pair I got didn't hold up to wet grass only on 2 trips out. Toes leak on them almost immediately. I'd like to see them in leather. Most leather waterproof hold up, but not these. No fake leather either, that breaks. Soles good for traction, comfortable, but I give a minus 5 stars for waterproof.

These shoes run narrow, compared to the non-waterproof version. I wear 8 M in non-waterproof with plenty of room in toe box. Had to go to 8.5 W for waterproof. I need wide toe box, and 8 W were too narrow.

The support of this shoe is not as comfortable to my foot as is the Target II shoe. Im not sure what the difference is, but Ive developed plantar fasciitis since I began to walk in this shoe daily.

Stayed dry! Wish there was more arch support, my feet were sore after a decent walk. The shoes were sturdy and gripped well. Could also use a lace that stayed better, kept getting untied

It is hard for me to find a show that fits, as I have a wide foot, and require orthotics. The Moab 3 comes in Wide, and using 1/2 size larger than usual, I could easily accommodate the orthotic. I had to try a couple of sizes; Merrells return policy made this easy, since wide shoes are not readily available in stores. Very comfortable, and sure footing on uneven trails.
