Well constructed and light weight. Do not like the elastic zippull shoe laces.

I had to exchange a couple of sandals because of bad internal sewing finishing ,that caused discomfort. But even for the pair that I finally purchased - its lace has torn recently after just several months of wearing. This was unexpected and very disappointing

Owned 2 pairs of the previous model. This one runs small widthwise and has non-existent arch support compared to the previous model. Plus has the same issue with roll-over internal seams that was already reported in one of the reviews, had to return them because of that.

They fit well but internal structural design created pressure points that made them uncomfortable to wear.

The shoes fit well, but the stitching on the mess rub my bare feet and cause blisters. I will have to wear socks with these shoes.

They are okay, I like the weight and the breath-ability however, terribly uncomfortable without socks, they rub the top of my foot raw without them.

Not my favourite sieve but close. I'm still not crazy about the plastic mesh, I prefer them to be open air, like my 2016 sieves. BUT they are better than my last pair which had a hard plastic back heel. I prefer the all neoprene stretchy shoe with a good griping sole. I miss my 2016 Sieves:-( they just needed a different color scheme. These are more shoe than sandal still. Anyway better than the 2020 sieve

This is my third set of Merrell shoes and unfortunately will be my last. My last two sets wore out kind of quickly, but they were very comfortable. These seem to be a replacement of the All Out Blaze Sieve, and they're not nearly as good. They're narrow, heavy, uncomfortable, and they don't drain well or dry quickly. I wish Merrell had kept the old design of the All Out Blaze.

They look and feel nice, but they are way too narrow. These medium, 9.5 men's are more narrow than my girlfriend's medium 6.5. I don't understand why they did that.

These were the first Merrell shoes that I didn't like. I was trying to order the All Out Blaze but I couldn't find them on the website so I ordered the Speed Strike. The left shoe has some defects on the inside stitching that makes it annoying to wear. Even ignoring the defects I didn't like the shoe overall.

Within moments of wearing these in water, the mechanism to tighten or loosen the shoes malfunctioned. This happened on day 1 of a week long hiking trip making the shoes largely inoperable.
When contacting Merrell, their customer service replied, "While these are water friendly shoes they are not made to be submerged in water for long periods of time which can cause issues."
I would recommend both a better company and a better shoe for traversing water

Within moments of wearing these in water, the mechanism for loosening and tightening the shoe failed. This happened on day 1 of a week long outing making the shoes incredibly frustrating to operate.
When reaching out to Merrell's customer service, I was told "While these are water friendly shoes they are not made to be submerged in water for long periods of time which can cause issues."
I would recommend a better company and a better shoe if you're looking for a "water shoe"

Materials and construction look durable but as mentioned by several other reviewers there are areas inside that rub and irritate. Insole does not provide much cushioning. I've owned a lot of Merrell products and this one was a disappointment. Returned

I've worn these for a couple of weeks, and I agree with previous reviews: The straps and tongue move around and irritate my feet. The insole is dead flat, so they offer zero arch support and the insole isn't removable so it can't be replaced with something better

These shoes are ok at best. I had another pair of speed strike sieve and the soles were rubberized, these have a regular sole insert that picks up smell once it gets wet and after a month of wearing smell awful. My other pair never smelled, which is imperative for sandals. Additionally, the older pair had a sock tongue, these have a loose tongue and one of the seems at the base rolled over immediately and made a blister rubbing point. So I'm not a fan of this design. I do like the mesh versus the open portals though, as rocks and debris don't slip in on every portage.

I typically wear size 9 or 9.5 shoes. I ordered 8.5 since I knew that I probably would not be wearing socks with these shoes. The 8.5 were still too big and no smaller sizes were available.

I've always loved Merrell shoes. I found the arch set up very uncomfortable and unfortunately had to return them. Very disappointed that Merrell no longer carries the water shoes I purchased twice, but what can you do?

The shoe is well made but really narrow! After a week of really trying to get use to them I just stopped wearing them. It's a shame I can't return them and I won't wear them.

Left shoe was great but the right one had a rough seam inside that abraded the top of my foot. I returned them for another pair that had the same problem but worse.

Right shoe had an improperly stitched section that cause consistent discomfort when worn, because it kept folding backwards toward the heel. After some scissors and gorilla glue this has mostly been resolved, however, it's still notable. I think it may get better over time, we'll see!

long time Merrell customer - these are the worst shoes ever. interior of shoe not sewn together properly creating a constantly irritating "flap" of fabric rubbing on my feet. BUT THE SOLES! super slick on even damp surfaces (just ask my butt) - and these are supposed to be trail shoes??
