Nice warm shirt but, one of the snaps on the left sleeve pops open easily. As far as fitted it don't taper much at all and is bulky if you want to tuck it in.

Have as Xmas present. Brother-in-law really likes it especially heavy Sherpa lining. Giving it a 4 because we don't yet know how it will wear

Almost perfect but pilling flannel. Needs to be brushed flannel. Also left lapel collar too stiff pokes in neck

Good fit but sleeves could have been a bit longer.

This "Shacket" is quite nice and overall very warm! It does have snap buttons FYI, which I prefer so you don't have to worry about buttons coming off. It washes and dries in the drier well - ever so slight shrinkage, but not enough to change sizing. Body of the shirt is sherpa lined. I recommend it as a great outer layer or option to wear inside when you need to stay warm. I did not give it the full five stars due to the material used to line the arms and how boxy it is even though the cut is "slightly fitted". Arms are quilted. For the price, I wish the arms were lined with softer warmer material. Perhaps the same flannel that is outside could be used to line the quilting. I get not using the Sherpa lining for the arms - it would likely be too bulky. But the quilting material is cold when you first put the shirt on and not soft and snuggly like the rest of the shirt is. The cut is still quite boxy for a relatively fit person.

Fits well, looks attractive and is very warm. Now, if Bean would just send it to the address on record, all would be well.

Fits true to size and super warm, but sleeves need an extra button on the cuff.

The Jac is a little lighter than I expected from a warmth prospective. But the process was timely and the size was good for me. 5 10" 195 Large works fine. Inside pocket would be a lot nicer.

You have to add an extra snap on the sleeves , my hand slips through the sleeve because there so wide.

Love this shirt; I wish the sleeves were longer. I'd buy a Med fitted size if it were available.

great shirt but sleeves are not lined with sherpa so very cold on your arms when putting it on. sherpa fleece should be extended to all of the lining. snaps are better than buttons!

Really loved this but the outside started to pill after only a few times wearing it

Warm and comfortable. My husband likes the snaps. It does wrinkle more than I expected. Overall happy with shirt. I think it's a little high priced but great quality. Husband is 6'3 and 225lbs. Xxl tall is definitely big enough. He likes them big. I think xl tall would fit just fine.

The quality of materials represents LL Bean high standards. I appreciate the quilted lining in the sleeves for easy on, easy off.
However, the sleeves are extra long--I folded back a 1/2 section of the cuff, which actually looks good.
The opening for the side pockets are in line with the seam that joins the front & back half of the shirt. This is an awkward location for the pockets and tends to be a bit uncomfortable keeping ones hands inside. I suggest moving the pockets forward like you see on a typical hoodie.
These are minor grievances, but I will go back to my fleece-lined flannel shirt (even though it doesn't have side pockets) when this one wears out.

This is very warm and comfortable. I gave it only 4 out of 5 stars because the fit is a bit odd. The overall length is a tad too long for my liking, while the sleeves are a bit too short. Moving to a smaller or larger size may resolve one of those two factors but make the other worse. Other than that, very nice.

The shirt is very high quality and warm. The colors are true to the picture and I liked the shirt a lot. The one cautionary on it is it is listed as slightly fitted and while I'm average build and weight it seemed a bit roomy and only very very slightly fitted. Overall like most of their products they tend to be designed for men who have large stomachs and need the extra room in that area.

Over all a very good product, if it had one interior brest pocket (for a wallet) it would be near perfect.

This is the best lined plaid shirt I ever bought. The fit is exactly what I expected. It gets softer after several washes. It is very warm and is good enough for 50 degree days with just a T-shirt underneath. Like many others commented, I wish the cuff offers one additional snap button to adjust the opening. It gets wet when I use the bathroom/kitchen sink.

I bought this intentionally oversized (regular XL instead of a regular L) for my husband, and it fits like a M-L. It's fitted across his shoulders, and about 2" too short on his wrists. He wears a 16x35 / L in shirts across the board, so this was really surprising (and disappointing!).

Because I somehow anticipated this shirt to be a version of the Maine Guide shirt, I was somewhat disappointed. I would prefer that this shirt be a little longer, have buttons instead of snaps, and have bigger chest pockets. That said, the sherpa lining is quite warm, the quality of the flannel seems quite good, and the shirt does its job well.
