This is the single greatest article of clothing ever created. Where do I even begin? They are very warm but still lightweight and flexible. They last forever, I literally have a few of my fathers old ones from the 90's for yard work and stuff. When they're fresh they are even fairly stylish in a rugged sense. I'm 6'6" and the large tall fits perfectly. I don't even say things fit like a glove anymore, I say they fit like a River driver. They were out of stock this summer and I was so worried they had been discontinued I took a full inventory and assessment of condition, wasn't great so I got two more this year, tan and dark blue. My all time favorite was a white and blue horizontal stripe, it's a but worn now after ~12 years of solid use and minimal washing but I still pull it out when the wine is right. Crossing my fingers they do another run of special editions but I haven't seen any in years. If your considering buying this shirt you should. You won't regret it. River drivers henley are the best under LLBean Wicked Good flannels!

This one is the fourth one that I've purchased over the last ten years; my husband is still wearing the original (it's showing wear but is great for working around the house).

Still a great shirt. Had my other one for years and it's on its last legs. This one was discounted as I believe the color to be discontinued. Does shrink if put in the dryer. But it fits better now that I've dried it. I also knew that was gonna happen

The river driver's shirt is the best for layering, or for just wearing around the house in the winter. Soft and warm, with long sleeves, it can allow you to lower the thermostat setting and save energy.

My son lives in these from fall thru spring. They are warm and wear extremely well

I have been buying River Driver shirts for 50 years. As always it is well made of quality materials; comes in great colors and is exactly what I was looking for and expected.

I started wearing LL Bean River Driver's shirts in the 90's when we were living in NH. They are NH cold worthy. In many a snow storm I shoveled snow in a river driver to keep my core warm. The double layer design keeps the cold out & the warm in. 40 years later I still rely on River Driver's, but for a different reason. I wear them as an undershirt, during SC winters to keep my arthritic sholders warm and less painful. Taken care of, they last for years. They are "dry flat" only. Their biggest enemy is the drier. They will shrink and become misshapen.

These are great shirts, I own several: Whether relaxing around the house or out on a hike. I am 6' 4" 205 pounds and the extra large tall is a perfect fit

Warm, comfortable shirt. Great undershirt for cold days. Paired with llbean wool shirt it makes a great defense against northern winds. Highly recommended.

I have bought several of these shirts which I find both comfortable and warm. Only sorry that I can't get additional ones in the colors I prefer since the remaining sizes are either small or large and I am a medium.

These shirts are amazing. I now have 4 and wish more colors were available in my size. Will probably purchase more next fall/winter. Can work outside in them and still be very warm and can wear them to a nice dinner.

Without doubt, my favorite outdoor shirt. The 2 layers are perfect for northeast weather. Just bought my third one.
