I spent hours and hours comparing different shoes for my first half marathon, and eventually gave up and ordered these on the fly. I couldn't be more impressed by their springiness, all day comfort and style. Not huge like other hokas, can be worn with casual wear, but absolutely lift you up and propel you forward on runs. I just finished my first ultramarathon (50K) and bought my second pair of these a week before race day. I wore them 3 times (because I knew they wouldn't give me blisters) before race day and ended the race with only one blister, which is to be expected when running that distance. I can't say enough good things about these, I hope they never change!

It doesn't take it away completely because it's not a cure, but it decreased my pain substantially! I am able to walk more with little pain, something I could never do in my Nike 270's. I'm definitely a customer for life.

Size and fit are perfect. These sneakers are the best I've tried so far. Lightweight and comfortable. I have a bunion and these feel great, even on long walks. Buying another pair soon!

My Solimars are very comfortable for everyday wear. I first bought them in white for my exercise class because they have a relatively flat sole which is good for lateral movement. I liked them so well that I purchased another pair in black for walking around. I have another pair of Hoka Cliftons with more aggressive soles for long distance walking. Fit true to size.

It was fine. Due to an injury one foot is longer than the other. The construction of the shoe enabled a cit of stretching to fit on the longer foot.

I prefer to wear flat or close to zero drop shoes for strength training. I bought these to wear during my cardio sessions. These are incredibly comfortable despite not having that big block of foam that seems to be so trendy. They're so light, I forget I have them on. I love the little details. As long as they keep making these in neutral colors, they can take my money. I wear a 6.5, but I bought a size 7 and they're perfect.

The fit is true to size and so comfortable. They are very lightweight and the mesh upper contours to your foot. I got these for a trip to NYC and could walk all day and my feet didn’t hurt at all.

I usually have sore feet and legs after working 8 plus hours (in healthcare). No foot or leg cramps!

My first pair of Hokas. I ordered my regular size 8.5 with medium to wide feet. I did a lot of investigating and chose this style. I have plantar fasciitis, the balls of my feet hurt and I can get shin splints. I just received these and tried them on. They are comfortable just walking around the house, but the true test will be after walking and working out. I usually wear Asics but they didn’t have my size in the style I usually get. So…I got these and I think they are a keeper.

I've been trail running, road running, and walking in Hokas for years. I've been through a lot of different styles, but these are my absolute favorite. They look and feel less bulky while still providing all the cushioning and stability I need, and they're as lightweight as a racing shoe. I already have two pairs and I came back today for a third. I want all the colors!

I recently went on a Greek Isles cruise and wore these every single day. All day long! Climbing, walking, standing! They were perfect and my feet never hurt once!

This is my 2nd pair in less than 6 months. They are perfect my treadmill so one pair is devoted to just that. So comfy!

I use it in my daily walking and my foot won't get tired easily. I also like the design and the way the tie is easy to fold no need to cross tied.. I bought another one for my wife because she likes it also.

TheBe specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I have never wanted any Hokas because of the unattractive, thick sole. However, these soles are not as thick and look more feminine. The support maybe slightly less than the thick soled Frankenstein styles, but way better than my On Clouds. I love the Solimar shoe, and it didn't let me down on comfort when I stood in line for four hours to get into a Trump rally! Ask for the size I am normally a nine, but I had to get a 9 1/2. And my foot is narrow and the width was perfect for me. It is not often that I am able to find a shoe that is not too wide.

I tried an alternative pair of sneakers, because they were cheaper, but they just don't compare to the comfort I get from wearing Hoka sneakers. My first time with this particular style . I did need to return and get a W size ,due to a bunion, and can definetly feel the difference.
