I have been very disappointed in hoka products lately. They seem to have decided to make all toe boxes narrower. I used to love my hokas! The kaha was the most comfortable hiking boot I had ever worn. The new model crunches and irritates my toes. I'm finding a similar problem with the sneakers as well.. I wish hoka would go back to their original design! Bring back the Clifton 6 and the old style kaha!!!

I bought these for a December trip to Iceland and was mainly looking for great support, comfort, and water resistance. We hiked uneven terrain with multiple inclines, rode horses, went ATVing, and walked around a city. All around great shoe! I have a severe pronation and my feet did not hurt the entire 10 days. We also crossed several shallow rivers and I was impressed that these shoes held up to being waterproof. The only thing I wasn't pleased with is how my feet slid forward with big toes experiencing slight discomfort when hiking down a mountain with a steep grade, but also partially my fault for not stopping to adjust the laceswas tired and didn't want to lose momentum. I still give the boot 5 stars.

I was skeptical about these boots, 1) the price and 2)the only review that was given at the time I bought them. I was extremely impressed at the comfort, cushion, and they don't make my feet sweat. I wear taller socks with the boots and I don't notice any rubbing or uncomfortable areas. I have wide feet and in some Hokas I take wides. These boots weren't offered in wide and I have plenty of room in the toe box and heel. I have Achilles spur and and any other brand hurts my feet. I can stand/walk for hours with no issues. I would highly recommend. The price hurts a but so far far they've been worth it.

These shoes are so supportive and magnificently cushioned. I got there right before the first snow this year. Getting to wear them around made me so comfortable and not worry about slipping. I can't wait to wear them on a hike as well. The ankle support is flawless, it never even bothered my heel. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I bought these for walks with my dog in the fall and winter. They keep my feet 100% dry and warm in puddles and snow. The sole is great, because it has a really secure contact with the ground. They are surprisingly lightweight compared to hiking boots.
I bought the all black, because I wanted a neutral color. Plus they match my black dog, black coat, and black leather gloves (handmade in Italy ).
I considered these for some time, because I have plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. However, I don't need my custom orthotic inserts with these! My feet and my legs don't ache after long walks!
I feel really secure walking in these, which is important for me, because I have slipped and fallen in the past. If you are a mature person who needs a supportive shoe, these will give you comfort and warmth. I have been wearing these with thin socks, but you could definitely wear something thicker with them.
Usually I buy a pair of shoes and wear them to death within a year or two, but now I have different Hokas for different purposes. These are my official dog walking/hiking shoes for fall and winter.

Healthcare workers rejoice!!!!! Comfort? Yes. Support? Yes. High arches? These work. Twelve hour shifts on your feet? Perfect. Hoka is now my shoe of choice for work and anything else where I walk a lot. I have bad knees and these fit the bill for the most comfort. I started taking care of Covid patients in March 2020. My Hokas lived up to the challenge of all that. Brava!

The hoka boots now have a seam under the heel that is very uncomfortable, I bought them to hike in Europe, too uncomfortable so a big waste of money, I wore them outside for a couple miles before it started hurting so I couldnt return

I was having alot of feet pain when my doctor told me to get a high top hiking boot to hold my ankles in place. These are excellent for that. They are so comfortable, would highly recommend.

My first Hoka and took this pair to Kauai recently for 2 big hikes. (Big for me but maybe intermediate for some.) It was wet and muddy but these kept me balanced, dry and stable. I climbed up and down muddy trails and did not really slip at all. I crossed creeks and stepped in inches of water but stayed dry and again, balanced. I became a fan and ended up order 2 pairs for running and walking. I'm now considering buying a 3rd pair just because of the color. :) Also required no breaking in period and my feet were comfortable and did not cramp once even though very tired after miles of climbing.

Plantar fasciitis, bone spurs, high arches. I use arch supports and I pretty much only wear Hokas. They cost a fortune, but I am done with shopping and trying and shopping and buying cheaper shoes - ultimately spending $500 to save $170-$250 on Hokas. I needed "snow sneakers" for winter walking...as well as going between 2 buildings for work - and being on my feet most of the day. These are not insulated, so the warmth has to come from thicker socks. I bought my normal size, and felt that these were a bit roomier than my Stinson ATRs. They didn't require break in per se, but I felt it was wise to wear them around the house for a day to get used to the feeling of a bit of give at the heel as well as weird tightness on the instep or around the ankles because of the "high top" and the difference in lacing. All in all - nice, sturdy, supportive, cushioned Hoka. Sorry to sound like Congress, but sometimes you have to spend money to save money. (The difference being, I am spending MY OWN money, lol.)

This is what I have been looking for. Neutral/Plush and a wide toe box. Also it has a padded tongue that is comfortable which should be on all Hoka shoes in my opinion-not the stabby thin tongue like on some models. Also, I love the color. Not all Hoka lovers like flashy colors, so thank you Hoka.

These boots are comfortable and I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. They also keep me feeling warm the whole time. I do wear merino wool socks with them though. You also have to buy a size bigger than your normal size. I'm an 8 and it suggested I get 8.5. They fit perfect.

I bought these to replace my Tor Ultra Hi boots that I bought in 2018 and have lost their cushion and were no longer water proof. So far, I am loving them. I have a pair of Toa's as well, but they just aren't as cushy and supportive as the Tor and Kaha's are.
I wear these all winter long for walking the dog, snowshoeing, anything where I want to be warm, dry and comfortable. It's always hard to bite the bullet and pay the hefty price, but if these last we well as my Tors did, I think it will be worth it.

I buy my Hoka's online because I can get medium width. Stores only carry wide. I would do even better with a narrow width, but unfortunately they are not available.
Otherwise, Hoka's are the best shoes I've ever had. I get a new pair every year, but I'm still wearing my old ones!
I wore corrective shoes from ages 2-14 (I'm now 76). I don't buy cheap shoes!! Now that I've found Hoka's, that's all I buy. They are fabulous! PLEASE start making narrow widths!

I didn't pay enough attention to the specs before purchasing, just assumed I wanted the most plush shoe since that is what I like in my walking/running Hokas. These were indeed plush, but they were also quite a bit heavier and stiffer than what I was used to (the Tor, which is no longer available). They are probably a lot closer to what people expect from a standard hiking boot, and they seemed comfortable enough, but they were not what I was looking for. I returned them and got the speedgoat instead, which provide the more "sneaker"-like feel I apparently prefer. These may be fine for others who need/want all that shoe.

Ordered the same size I usually wear in athletic shoes. These fit perfectly with a little extra room for some thick socks if needed. Hightop boot hit at just the right spot so as not to cause chaffing.

These fit like a dream. Very comfy, cushy & cozy. I’m returning as I’m not crazy about the bulky style and fanned heel, but mostly because the top rivet when tied securely to support my weak ankle, hits right on my ankle bone & is uncomfortable.
