I've had hokas in the past that fit so well, but these were WAY small and narrow. I normally wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9 wide and they were squeezing my toes so badly that I couldn't stand wearing them for one day.

I had high hopes for the Arahi 6. No store within an hours drive carried this style, so I took a chance and ordered it. I had tried the new Kawana, but the insole cut into my flat arches after a 30 minute walk on the treadmill. So Customer Service said that the Arahi 6 was a bit wider and I should try them.
FYI, I have had flat feet since birth, and at 74 years young, they're flatter. I over-pronate inward, so need a shoe with a stable frame. I have had 2 pair of the Akasa (which were well worn) but needed more cushioning and stability. Unfortunately, when the Arahi 6 came, I found they ran a full 1/2 size small (all 3 prior Hoka shoes were my usual 9.5B/M and had plenty of room). And they also run narrow, so back they're going. I'm not sure where I'll go from here, but am VERY disappointed in the Arahi 6.

I used to wear Brooks Ghost 11 and 12, skipped the 13, tried the 14 and HATED them. I used to wear Altra, ordered a pair online, HATED them. Tried Asics (I think gt2000?), hated them. Tried Hoka Mach 4 and they felt like they would be good for done people but definitely not me. My feet were killing me every night with all of those shoes (I work in a hospital). I have high arches and overpronate (feet roll inward). I'm so glad I went to my local running shoe store whose knowledgeable staff suggested these. These shoes feel so soft, have arch support, and feel great! I understand the hype behind Hoka now!

This is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE shoe I have ever tried. I've tried different types of Hokas due to their popularity and always regret it. I need some support in a shoe and the only good thing about these was the low heel to toe drop. It's why I tried them. The good stops there. I found the ridge that connects the upper of the shoe to the sole to be horribly hard and causing pain. Yes, they have a high stack height but it's super hard foam and they do not feel cushioned to me at all. A local running store warned me about Hokas falling apart quickly but I thought I'd try them, anyway. Well, I am DONE with my Hoka experiment. I don't get the hype about this shoe. I have sensitive feet and apparently need a kinder shoe. I'm glad they work for others but wanted people to know they are not for everyone. For reference, I have low arches and flexible feet.

Nice shoe, true to size. BUT, the black shoe fit me differently than the Fuchsia color that I bought directly from Hoka. It was a little tight (not much, but just did not feel right like the Fuchsia ones do) at the bottom of the toe box. I returned the black and ordered another fuchsia directly from Hooka ( I needed 2 pair total and Zappos does not have the Fuchsia). Other than that there MAY be a difference of fit in the different colors, this is a great shoe. It provides the support that I need. I moved from Brooks Adrenaline 21 and chose the Hooka Arahi 6 over the Brooks Adrenaline 22.

I have 6 pairs of HOKAs on rotation. After an extremely painful bout of plantar fasciitis, I decided to be kind to my feet all the time! Possibly, I am a walking HOKA advertisement. I love them all... Bondi, Arahi, Clifton, etc... This fushia/rose color Arahi 6 has gotten the most compliments of all! It's so comfortable for all day wear and walking and color is just gorgeous.

I loooove this shoes. I am on my feet most of the day, and I can honestly say these shoes made a huge difference. My hips, knees and my feet feel supported. I am able to work longer hours in less pain!

I have 8 pair of Hoka , I began yrs ago w the Arahi 2 but have sent back every Arahi I tried since then! I ended up switching to Bondi , Clifton and few others mostly the ones I wear walking dogs have been Clifton . I like the old recovery slip ons for daily errands etc .( sadly not sold anymore ?)
Anyway I fell hard got the gray color here on this shoe ! It was almost out in wide ( I like to spread my toes ! ) so I got the 9.5 D. I could have easily got regular width bc these are not extra narrow like Gaviota ( I've never had a Gaviota that fit right ) anyway I bought primarily bc of the subdued gray color w the sole gray too!
I Love these shoes! They feel great , no weird gif on the arches ( like before ) no pinching anywhere ! I'm tempted to buy another pair yo put back !
This color is one of the best gif women my age ( 60) bc it blends w yoga pants etc !
Please make more monochrome ones - less bizarre orange mixes ! etc

I love these . I have tendinitis problems in my ankle these shoes are very comfortable and help support my ankle and relieve the pain
asics gel nimbus are good but you need to buy one size up
Brooks buy it in wide with your regular shoe size
I'd also recommend:
asics gel nimbus or brooks

I am not a runner but a middle aged lady starting to be healthy. I do a fast, short walk every weekday morning and work on my feet a lot. My right foot overpronates (just googled) and the stability in the shoe greatly helps!

TTS. I usually wear an 8.5 and that is what I purchased for this shoe. It fits perfectly! Super comfortable while remaining supportive for running or walking. I am a longtime Brooks Adrenaline GTS wearer for running, but have experience more heel pain recently. The Arahi have helped alleviate any pain! Definitely recommend if you need a more cushioned shoe.

I love shoes. I'm picky due to heal spurs, high arches, and narrow feet. Doc said to buy this brand to help with the pain. Most expensive athletic shoes I've ever purchased and totally WORTH IT! I don't want to wear any of my other shoes again... I guess it's these with dresses too!!! Perfect fit for me when laced tight and my orthotics fit wonderfully in them.

I loved the Arahi 5 so I was so excited to try the 6. I have purchased 5 pairs of the 5 because I love them. I always wear wide so i ordered the wide in the fuchsia color. The shoes are too narrow and too short. I definitely recommend sizing up. They are sized differently than the 5. I have worn them in a couple of runs and accidentally scuffed and put a hole in the upper so I cannot exchange. Bummer!

I've been having so many issues the last few months with terrible stabbing pain in my feet while I run. I got a new pair of shoes (a different brand) thinking it would solve the problem, but it made it so much worse!! My last run in those shoes, I cried for 2 miles from the overwhelming pain in my feet. Enter these hokas. My first run in them I experienced zero pain. I remembered that running was actually fun and not an experiment of how far you can run with excruciating pain before you need medical assistance. These are like little cloud miracles cushioning and supporting your feet in all the right places. I highly recommend and will never buy another brand again

I never write reviews for anything, but these are amazing. After reading to size up, it took 3 tries to find the right size- I ended up getting 1/2 size smaller than usual. I overpronate and generally purchased Saucony in the past, I wasn't sure what to try since my feet seem to fall asleep while running. Brooks didn't work for me either. I've collapsed my arches, so my feet just hurt, especially when I get up in the morning or just walk too much. I also have wide feet and calcium deposits (aka...bunions, but sounds better). I'm a very active person and these are just amazing. I'm planning to order a second pair so I have them for indoor running and just to wear around the house. They are really lightweight for stability sneakers and took 30 seconds off my mile pace. Love!

Depending on the shoe, I’m either 6.5 or 7. I ordered the 7 to be cautious as unread these run slightly narrower than there other shoes. I love how supportive these are; and that they hug my heel and instep so there is no sliding or rubbing. I can see there being an issue if you have widenfeet for this style. No need to “break in” the shoes, completely comfortable and lightweight. I work 12 hour shifts in healthcare- so I would highly recommend these.

I bought these shoes in May 2022 and paid full price. I run 3-4 times a week and about 3 miles each time. After 3 months now in August the inside material is wearing away already causing the rigid material inside the shoe exposed on my skin and causing blisters. I have gone through many different brands of running shoes over the years and these are by far the west quality. I can't even wear them anymore and now have to buy another pair of running shoes to finish out the summer and fall season.

I work 12 hour night shifts and I’m on my feet in a busy hospital laboratory all night long. My feet overpronate and I have.a high arch. These are hands-down, the best and most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn for work. I love them so much that I am ordering another pair for casual wear . There is absolutely nothing that I would change about this shoe. It has alleviated the knee and leg pain that I experienced prior to wearing these shoes.

Love these shoes, as a retired nurse I worked orthopedics for years and fell in love with these shoes. The are expensive bit well worth the cost. They help with knee pain and help if you do a lot of walking.

I bought a half size larger because I was told they run a bit small. Glad I did. I usually wear an 8-81/2 W but got a nine W. But they have nice cushioned bottoms with good arch support and are extremely comfortable.

Terrible shoes. Not worth the price. Narrow in the heel with weird seams that rub and cause abrasions/blisters. Have had them for less than two months (not worn daily) and they already have holes in the inner lining.
