After falling and breaking my right wrist on a hike I'm now aware of the limitations of a side pocket only on the right thigh. I can't access it. Right now I would very much appreciate pockets on both thighs. This also had me thinking about those who have permanent limited use of their right hands....
Thank you!

I ended up deciding to try these pants out even not being a climber anymore. I like them, they feel a bit looser than I thought they might be but they are comfortable and I like the fabric. I haven't tried them on the trail, but i did wear them around town and thought they were comfortable. They could be a decent travel pant as well.

I love these pants for climbing in the gym, boulders or local crags. The cotton blend is casual and can also be worn easily to dinner and/or drinks after climbing both in the city as well as at single pitch crags - especially in black. I love the zip up side pocket for my phone or snacks.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
These sadly were not a good fit for me. If you tend to be slightly hippy with a small waist, these would be perfect for you. I was disappointed that they did not work for me as they are very attractive pants. The color is a bit darker than they appear in the photo.

Comfortable and durable pants. I'm 155 cm and 49 kg, the size 0 Short is a great fit.

These pants fit well for me. I'm usually a 6 or 8 in Arc pants, for these I went with a 6. Would have liked a bit more inseam since I'm 5'10, however these are still doable. Great material, comfortable to wear around the office

These are great because they dry very quickly, and have a nice pocket placement on the leg which does not interfere with a climbing harness or the movement while climbing. I love the lightweight belt system and fit of the pants. I used these a lot over the last year, with no holes despite many scrapes against the rock. The fit has loosened a bit over time though. I bought a second pair.

These are hands down my favourite pants from Arcteryx.
They fit perfectly in the waist + thighs (true to size). They are an awesome crag to pub pant that has great durability. I love these as an every day pant for just kickin' it around Squamish.

These pants are the perfect fall and spring weight climbing pant. The pants move really well which is really important for climbing specific pants. I'm pretty flexible and don't feel that these pants restrict my mobility in any way. The fabric is breathable which is good for long approaches, and is soft and feels nice next to your skin. They're also really durable - I did a bunch of knee bars on some fairly rough rock and they are no worse for wear.
They look really smart, which is fairly unique for climbing specific pants. I'd definitely wear these out and about in the city and not just for climbing.

Haven't worn these yet because it's just too cold here to wear the lightweight fabric. Love the fabric content with the cotton and stretch. They will be cool and comfortable for 3 seasons. Bought these for using for dog agility and they will be perfect. The pants are a regular fit. Great that the waist is slightly adjustable.

I got these several months back and they are so comfortable for climbing and resist scuffs well. They move and stretch great and I like there maroon color. My only complaint is that I get insane sweat marks under my butt where my harness sits. I mostly find this funny but do be aware that everyone at the gym or crag will see your swamp crotch.

Quite comfortable, but the button snap frequently pops open, and the fly frequently undoes itself.

I bought two pairs and loved everything about them until I sat down... the button snap is super flimsy and would pop open everytime I would sit down. There is no option for a belt to help prevent that, and from them flying open every time I sat down or breathed out too hard. I even have the waist synched, so it wasn't an incorrect size issue. Even a button instead of a snap would have solved the issue.

Love the material and fit (for not joggers) but dislike the low rise and the baggy back pockets which look ridiculous and puffed out. Not sure what's going on with the pockets but it's kind of a deal breaker. Also the low rise doesn't make sense with harnesses unless you like your butt exposed? I don't. Otherwise the material is nice, the cut is good. I am in between sizes and sized up for a looser fit. But yeah... those back pockets.. yikes.

The fit and feel of these pants are terrific - so light, soft and cool. I would have loved to keep them. However, the back pockets are terrible. They are open pockets without any stretch, and they sag open at all times even if the pants fit perfectly. They look really messy. It's disappointing that these otherwise excellent pants are let down by something like this, when Arcteryx is usually very good with its clean styling.

Bought these 2 months ago, worn under 10 times rock climbing. Wish they were made better because I did like them, but they started ripping everywhere! I've had other rock climbing pants last me years. Very poor quality unfortunately as I've been a loyal arc teryx customer.
