Received as a gift, this hoodie fits well and is quite warm. I have the gold color. Unfortunately, one panel of the jacket began to pill after only 3 (casual) wearings. I did not abuse it in any way. I tried to exchange it since it was probably an end-of-bolt piece that somehow got into the manufacture process. After weeks of waiting, documentation, photos, etc. Arcteryx informed me that I was wrong, and this is normal wear and tear. If this is true, the quality is sorely lacking, and I am sad. I wanted this to be more durable and attractive.

I looked at this jacket for a good month before I finally pushed the purchase button due to the price. I love the color, it's exactly the color in the photo by the way - soft pink. The fabric is very light and soft and comfortable on the skin, so they really got that right. I got it for paddle tennis in the cooler nights and it's worked so far and I even got a couple of compliments on it. While I like this jacket and would say the quality is quite good, I'd agree with some of the other reviewers that it's likely more money than it's worth by about 50 bucks. But if you love it, what the heck, get it and you'll really like it.

It's all about the fabric, which is soft-ish on the inside, and the outside never pills or snags. It's a stretchy fabric and perfect for yoga coverup. I have a few kyanites, jacket version and hoodie. I usually wear a Large but it's an athletic fit for a 38C - Women's 12, so I bought this in XL for a looser fit.

The fit is great - I got an XL since Arc'teryx runs slim! It fits comfortably over a fitted tee and is great since it adapts for inside/outside in the fall and early winter days so well. I have the same model in a dark eggplant color from REI and absolutely love them.

Love this jacket because I can wear it in the summerand also in colder weather under a versa or jacket. Quality is excellent!

This jacket is so comfortable and lightweight. Fits like a dream - not too tight, not too loose. Feels like it was made just for me! Hope Arc'teryx will offer this in a wider range of colors - some blues would be nice

I love this Hoody. I have it in 2 colors, black and desert salt. Could you please add desert salt to the color options again? I don't see it anymore. Cheers!

Over the last 3 years, I have purchased 4 of these hoodies in various colours and they are a staple of my "wardrobe" all year around. Any climate, indoors or outdoors, and they take up very little space in a pack. Great for travel. Well made, no functional issues. No major pilling and if there is any, the pills are very tiny and not very visible. I have washed them over and over, hang to dry and they come out looking great.

I have this in Forage color and I love it. It is so soft and comfortable, lightweight and breathable but still offers warmth. It is a trimmer fit, which I love - it is really flattering and just moves with you so nicely. It is great as part of a layering system or as a stand-alone. I get compliments on it every time I wear it!

I have owned the equivalent item for over 4 years and recently had to buy a replacement as the zip went in my well loved over worn one! I could not be without this hoody. It's fabulous! Hugs body with no restricted movement. Light weight. Responds to body temperature so well - warms up when more active. I am 5.5" and 140lbs and wear a small. About to order a second one in different colour!!

I wear it almost everyday. Paired it with my Rho Light Weight bottoms and some Cute runners. It has easily become my FAVORITE go to outfit. Soft, stretchy, breathable fabric. Cant wait to buy the cute spring colors.

I have used this hoodie a lot on my travels, it's very warm and easy to pack in my bag. Fits a bit snuggly- I can wear medium or large depending on fit- while I fit into the medium well, if I unzip slightly it comes right undone across my chest. I still love it but if you aren't sure of size I might suggest going ups size.

my absolute favorite layer, it's soft and comfortable. It holds up well on delicate wash and air drying. I can't wait to buy more!!

I've had this jacket for over a year and it's my go-to jacket. It's sooo soft, lightweight, and comfortable. I wear it to work, grab it just in case I might end up somewhere cold, and wear it when it starts to get chilly in FL, when I travel, etc. I'm hoping they come out with more colors.

This fleece is perfect for the current weather. Some days are still fairly cold so you can use it as a layering piece or for warmer days just wear it with light layers. Love the fit and material, extremely comfortable!!

I bought mine a week ago and Have woren it non-stop with hiking and biking. It is so comfortable and very flattering. Perfect layer for a cooler spring day.

I love this little hoody. It is light weight, has an excellent fit and feels great next to skin. I find it's a perfect warm up piece for climbing, and a nice layer throw on overtop if you don't want something too heavy. A great all rounder piece to have in your closet.

I wanted to replace a synthetic zippered hoody that I had worn threadbare, and I am so glad I bought the Kyanite. In the last two months, I have worn it almost daily: running, climbing, biking, packrafting (beneath my drysuit), hiking, yoga, gardening, dog walking... it fits perfectly, and the brushed fabric (inside) is so comfy that I can wear it without a base layer underneath. I bought the navy (cobalt moon) because I'm messy and I read previous reviews saying that the other colours held stains.. :)

This jacket is super light and soft. Great for summer hikes or walks. Sleeves are a bit long and I wish it had thumb holes...but still a fantastic jacket.

I have purchased three Kyanite Lt Hoodies to date in 3 different colors. They are a great weight for layering underneath other garments, but can also be worn alone. I particularly like the material and cut.

Great quality and colour, inner fleece is soft and it's a nice mid layer for all seasons or an outer for warmer weather. I like the length of the zip up to cover my neck and the hood is great for wind or cold. Only con is the material can snag easily and mine has a few small runs on the arms.

LT, definitely light. Looks and feels great. Replaces my wife's favorite hoodie. Got myself one too w o hoodie.

Size up for unrestricted comfort. I have 3 of kyanite winter fleece all mediums and I bought this in a small even though I'm small or xs in dresses and tanks. I kind of would have liked a medium in the summer kyanite hoody but they do not have medium when i ordered. The style is simple for cool summer morning run/hike.

I purchased the Kyanite LT hoody 6 months ago and wore it daily throughout the summer while biking, hiking and backcountry camping. It is perfect as a lightweight stand-alone jacket or as a layer under a waterproof shell. It is comfortable and warm in cooler temperatures at night or in light rain. The hoody is described as a next-to-skin and trim fit, however, the fit is large and roomy. I had previously owned the Adahy hoody in size small, which was a snug fit. Based on this and online customer reviews I originally purchased the Kyanite LT in size small. It was voluminous so I returned it for an extra small, which is still relatively loose fitting. The colours online are not representative of the actual colour of the fleece. Dakini appears as a vibrant fuscia online but is a muted dark rose colour with contrasting dark stitching. Also, Astral is a blue-green teal online but is actually closer to a true dark green. If possible, it is best to see the colours in person at an Arc'teryx retailer before ordering to make sure you get the colour that you want.
