Without a doubt, please order these a full size smaller! I wear an 8, and read all the reviews about docs running large. They do. I ordered a 7, and these fit perfect. Actually even a smidge roomier than expected. These are ridiculously cute, I love the look. If I can be honest here, I'm not understanding the "air wair" tag? Says " air wair, soles bouncing". Uuuh....my soles are not bouncing. These shoes are very heavy. But, I knew that before I bought. Do they bounce? Heck no. But they are more comfortable than say the 1461 boots that you have to break in. These are heavy but immediately wearable without a need to break in. Just very heavy. Not bouncy. Just thought I'd share. So definately go one full size smaller, and the heaviness will take a bit of gettiing used to. Something I'm willing to do ta rock a pair of Docs. Hope this helps.

PRO: So incredibly cute! I get many complements from folks of all ages every time I wear them. Excellent quality shoe, living up to the Dr. Marten name. They old up to weather. Plenty of room for a slightly wider foot. I ordered my regular size so an orthotic would fit and I'm pleased with the fit. I never wear shoes with less than a 2 1/2" heel so I love that this is a little more of a heal than the usual Doc. CON: Very VERY heavy. A little clunky feeling due to the weight. Arch support is not good without my orthotic. They are not my go-to because they make me walk like a caveman, which makes me tired and causes me to have back pain. I'm a life long Docs, Madden, Lucky, and Dansko person, so I am used to the heavy and clunky...this one is just a bit too much for me. I'm keeping them because they are super cute and I can tolerate for a couple of hours, but definitely NOT an all day shoe for me.

I really wanted to like these, but they have no arch support. They are also heavy. I returned them.

Order a size smaller. Purchased these for my wife, wore them with white ankle high socks, cutoff jeans and a white tank top on a recent trip over seas and the amount of compliments she got was awesome. Really cool shoe.

I wear a US size 9.5/European 40, and I debated how much to size down. I tried the 9 first, and it was much too big. Ordered the 8, and that fits perfectly. They feel pretty comfy walking around the house so far, and they're suuuuuuper cute. They look really sharp.

I own four pairs of Docs at the moment (have had others over the past 3 decades) and these are sized differently than all of them. I am a true 38 (US size 7) and they are definitely a full size larger! Will return to get my first "small" size of Docs.

Love these shoes. They are comfortable. Got lots of compliments. I read reviews first, so I knew to order one size down. Usually, a 10 but the size 9 fits perfectly!

Size down a whole size. I absolutely love the style, color (brown), and height of the heel. They are not the most comfortable heeled shoe but overall, I would recommend purchasing.

If it is possible to fall in love with a shoe, I think I have. These Dr. Martens are the best shoes I’ve owned. I get compliments from total strangers when I wear them. There is a bit of a break in period where the leather digs into the top of your foot a bit, but it goes away after about the third full day of wearing them. Make sure to order a size smaller than you normally purchase. I am typically a 6.5 US, and I ordered a 6 and they were a bit roomy, but you can tighten the straps. These shoes are heavy and tall, but in a good way. The front is also high, so your foot is in an excellent walking position. If you are not in shape, they may not be for you. The first few times I wore them, I felt like I was getting a bit of a workout, but unfortunately, you get used to it. I highly recommend them!

I am an 8 1/2 in normal street shoes. I ordered a 9 in these since half sizes are not available and they were way too big. I exchanged for an 8 and they are still slightly big, but I am keeping them since e the length is okay. My narrow foot just sort of swims in these. I will add a gel support to take up the extra room and they will be good. They are super comfortable and I absolutely love the look.

Runs large so bought a size smaller. Very stylish, comfortable. Every time I wear these, I get compliments how nice looking the shoes are!

I originally ordered my usual size, but the other review stating you should order a full size smaller was accurate. I returned the size 9’s and ordered 8’s. Super cute shoe, excited to have a Mary Jane with a heel!

Sized down a full size (normally an 8 but I got a size 7). Didn't feel too heavy.

These shoes a super cute, but they are also huge, I had to order 2 sizes down from my flat docs size.

Super Cute! Super comfortable, but I'll be wearing with insertable arch supports. It's so nice to have a closed toe shoe with a comfortable, chunky heel. SIZE WARNING: like many have commented, these run a size large. I ordered my normal size and a size smaller. I kept the smaller size, returned the other.

The shoes are too heavy.

I love these. They are big enough that I can take them on and off without unbuckling them. they look amazing. The heel was higher then I expected. You will walk on your toes like with other heels. However, when you stand, not walk, just stand, you are standing on the heel. Its odd, but appreciated.

I usually wear a women's 7 when I wear Dr. Martens. I got these in a 6, and the still feel just a wee bit too big, but I don't think a 5 would fit. I put seprately purchased arch supports and ball-of-foot cushions in them, but my feet still slide forward a little bit and they still hurt like regular high heels. I really love the style, though, so I'm hoping I can get used to them.

Super cute, with a great toe box. I normally wear US 9.5. Had to size down to US 8. Unfortunately, I could not stop my feet from sliding forward in these, despite purchasing various types of insoles. I wanted them to be something I could wear all day, not just be another set of toe-squishing heels, so back they go! So disappointed...

UK 4 was too small and UK 5 was too big. Wish there could have been a half size because they are adorable.

Felt a size and a half bigger than marked!! I'm a size 10 and I can stick my finger behind my foot in the size 9. I tried the size 8 (in black) but it was too small. The soles are a little heavy but it honestly wouldn't be bad if they weren't so big. I'm going to try putting inserts in because they're so cute I don't want to return them!!

In addition to running at least a full size too large, these are incredibly heavy. Ugh!
