I had a bad case of plantar fasciitis that wasn't getting better no matter what I was doing. I had read some reviews that this shoe was good for people suffering from pf, and tended to overpronation so I tried them. Within two weeks of wearing these after months of trying everything else under the sun, I was finally getting relief. I'm back on my feet to pre-pf amounts and still no issues. They definitely made a huge difference to me.

It's the first time buying running shoes but it won't be the last. These shoes are super light and feel great. It almost makes me wish I were a runner

Too small and too narrow. First time having this issue with ASICS.

Sneaker ran a bit small when wearing the same Thorlo socks. Switched to thinner socks

Comfortable shoes overall, but the sizing is off. I could barely put the first pair on. These are the first shoes I've ever had to exchange for a different size because the sizing was so inaccurate. Zappos was great, though, about sending a different size that fit well.

I have been wearing ASIC for years because they fit well and relieve my lower back pain. I found these GT-1000 and tried them out so I could get into spring walking 3 miles a day. They fit well. It took about 3 days to get accustomed to the position of my foot in these. My previous shoes were really worn out and these new ones corrected my walking posture. It took a few days to build the muscles to make a full 3 miles. They are feather light. Lighter than my house shoes. Great looking shoes. So far all I can say is good things about these shoes. I’m going to buy a pair in white for wearing with jeans. My advice is buy 2 pairs… they are worth it.

I wear an orthotic and these shoes allow me to fit it. I remove the insole and have more than enough cushion for moderate daily use.

Currently wearing last years version. Decided to order them in black for the newer shoe. Ordered the size I am currently wearing and the new ones came in too big. I am returning them for a 1/2 size smaller. I normally wear a size 10 in tennis shoes but these were more like a 10.5.

I keep coming back to Asics for walking/running shoes. I wear a Womens 11.5 W which is impossible to find, but I have discovered that a men's 10.5 fits me perfectly. These sneakers have great cushioning and I love the fabric of the upper portion it is so breathable and lightweight. I wore these all day yesterday to play with my son, and later to a baseball game with a good bit of walking and my feet felt totally comfortable at the end of the day. Looking forward to lots of walking in these shoes :)

I've found Asics to be a consistently quality sneaker and the GT-1000 11 is no exception.

Good fit. Very comfortable with excellent cushion. Happy with purchase. Will buy again. ASICS puts out a good product.

I bought these and the GT-2000 at the same time. The 2000 are great but these ripped at the top and side after two wearings.

These shoes fit my 13 4E foot well and feel comfortable forever..
