As other reviewers have said, these shoes are snug the first time you put them on, to the point that it almost seems impossible. But if you give them time, you will be rewarded. I remembered a similar pair of Campers I owned a decade ago, which I loved so much that I bought a second pair. So I tried wearing these around the house, first for an hour, then two hours, etc. A few days later, they have stretched to perfectly fit my feet. Now that I've passed the short break-in period, these shoes are super comfortable, with plenty of room in the toe-box for my wide forefoot.

Cute zero-drop shoes; but run small. I wear a 9 in just about everything else; and these were tight, almost too tight to get on. I like the stretchy laces; but they still didn't have enough give to get my foot in the shoe. I'm returning; but not replacing, because I have a pair of SOMs that are very similar in style & they're made in Colorado (not Cambodia).

This is a really cute shoe but I cannot get it on because the elastic ties are so tight which make it impossible to put on. Would it be possible to get a longer elastic tie that might make the shoe easier to get on? I would really like to keep them but not the way they are now.

The shoe would fit properly if I did not want to wear sports socks with them. Once you add socks, especially sport socks, they are too tight. If I went up a size, they would be too long. I'm disappointed. I'm looking for a barefoot walking shoe, but I want to wear socks.

I read the fitting advice and so ordered a half-size up. They fit very well and had room for my inserts. The red ones, which I bought, look a bit like clown shoes out of the box but with a couple of weeks wear they just have a typical Camper shape - rounded toes and quiet flat. I'm very pleased with these as my house sneakers.

I recently wore these on my travels to The Caucasus. At first try on, it might feel a bit tight. The laces stretch. You just slip these on without unlacing and lacing up. It’s made of leather so, it will stretch! I didn’t wear socks and they were still quite comfy. I have bunions and these shoes didn’t bother them.

So cute, but the camper shoes come only in full sizes, if you are a 5.5, like me, the fit can be a real challenge. Could not get this particular style to fit me right, and I tried repeatedly. Will buy the brand again in another style.
I'd also recommend:

wanted a slip on shoe, but the tongue in this shoe pushes forward when you put the shoe on without anything to grip to keep it from smooshing into the shoe.

I too want so badly to love these shoes. Bought the red in a full size larger and they fit well, but NO way would my normal size have fit! They’re a tight pull on but once on they are super comfortable. Leather and quality of the shoe is excellent. Love the stretch laces, really adds to the comfort, but the tight fit and leather might make for a smelly summer sneaker. With all that said, I cannot get past the red color looking like a clown shoe with the super wide toe and I am likely to be too hyper focused on the clownish look about them so will not be keeping them for that primary reason. Other colors offered not a fit for me.

I REALLY REALLY want to like these shoes. The style is really nice for a barefoot shoeThey are super tight. Especially for a barefoot shoe! I was so suprised. Also, they are NOT a slip-on shoe- the toe bunches up and you have to fight to pull it out and there is no tab to pull on the back of the shoe. I even undid the stretchy laces totally hoping they would fit better. I'm not sure I'd even buy the larger size to try since they are so hard to get on.

I have narrow feet - always. COULD NOT GET THIS SHOE ON!!!!!! Take out the laces and - well, sloppy mess, they're not intended of designed to be tied - take out the laces and what? Fuss with that wide elastic end through the teeny hole EACH ADN EVERY TIME, after the shoe is on??? I don't think so. I can't imagine who designed a thing like this, or what foot would fit.
