Fan of previous Asics GT1000 but NOT this version, the GT1000 - 11!! This shoe WAS a very reliable, high quality, well designed and affordable mild to moderate stability shoe. In 2022 Asics decided to design with fashion trends over function in the GT1000-11 and added a TON of Foam Cushioning!! Although the shoe could benefit from a little extra cushioning Asics went overboard and it is so soft that STABILITY is LOST and the shoe actually WORSENS PRONATION! The landing is so soft the nerves in my feet don't know where I am in space thereby are unable to land properly even with a solid platform; the cushioning actually dulls the nerve sensations in the feet dulling the nerves ability to guide the foot in landing clearly. I know the new Foam Cushioning can be helpful and make for a more comfortable trip but it doesn't need to be in every shoe and definitely not excessively in a stability shoe. As a result I regrettably returned this shoe (the colorways are fabulous by the way) and must hunt down another moderate stability shoe with mild to moderate cushioning; looking at you, MIZUNO! If Asics put function above fashion trends in 2023 I will return to this shoe.

I love the Asics GT-1000, this shoe is comfortable, and the width is perfect ( I have long skinny feet) I do put in arch supports as I am flat-footed, most shoes I have bought never have good arch support anyway, so I never look at this as a negative for any shoe I buy. I love the color too, If you are looking for a great shoe these will not disappoint.

I have yet to wear these shoes anywhere but in my house. They are quite comfortable. I wear a size 11 and these fit perfectly. I have to say that I recently ordered other less expensive Asics and they felt too small in the length (this made me appreciate Zappos return policy all the more). I have always been able to rely on Asics shoes to fit so this is a big disappointment as I always have trouble finding shoes in my size. I hope this is not going to be a problem in the future. Here's a shout out to whom ever came up with the QR code for returns! I was in and out of the UPS store in about 10 seconds.

Love the GT-10000 I recently started wearing this style because I have knee issues and they do help me get through the day. I have worn ASICS forever and they have always been my go to shoe. I have worn many styles Excite, Venture, Contend. But recently the Excite and the Contend make my knees snap and pop with every step. The Venture I can still wear it’s a great trail shoe for the price. I would recommend if you have stability issues to try this style.

Great for circuit training at the gym! I do weights, run, resistance great support! These is my second pair. Great fit!

I have worn Asics running shoes many years and I have to say that these are the MOST comfortable of any! That the toe box is very generous is why I LOVE this shoe. However, the arch support is notably less that recent pairs worn, but really not an issue. I've learned to buy a full size larger in Asics. The only negative for me is the too neon pink collar.

I have flat feet and my feet swell after being on my feet for long periods of time. Too much arch support is very uncomfortable for me, but this shoe was very comfortable to walk and be on my feet without making my feet hurt or my legs feel tired.
