For tennis players looking for speed and stability above all else, this is an excellent shoe. For those of us looking for good cushioning in addition, this is not. The new heel design in the FF3 is exceeding firm. Perhaps Asics should have tested this new design a bit more before release - if you split the heel of the shoe in half and run a plastic channel through it, you are going to be losing that space in the midsole for cushioning. These shoes felt like I had rocks under my heels after an hour on the court. The feet still hurt a week later. I think the new Gel Resolution 9 is a much better choice for everyone looking for a blend of performance AND comfort.
I'd also recommend:

Have worn Resolution (bit bulky and rigid), Solution Speed (lightweight but heel is small contributing to rolling) so I tried this Release 3 version and its impressive. Why? I'm a fast, aggressive player and with the sockliner boot and excellent lacing structure I'm able to move confidently. Also, the cushioning is noticeably better than the aforementioned shoes. Overall and in spite of cost, a great shoe to try!

This is a medium width shoe but fit my narrow fit well. It is a tad bit heavy but would not stop me from purchasing it.

I'm on my third pair now, between Court FF and FF2. They are firm and comfortable, but also nimble for fast approaches and stops. They've also proven to be very durable with nearly daily use.

These are the only shoes which allow me to play tennis without pain in my foot . Tried a lot of shoes ( including some other Asics ones ) none worked as well as this one.

I usually wear an 11 in the gel resolution, however I would recommend 1/2 size down for those out there looking for a perfect fit with the FF3. They run long in the toe box. 10.5 ended up perfect. The shoe is an amazing blend of cushioning, stability and speed. I feel "locked in" with this shoe. Long time ASICS fan.

I have several pairs and this is by far the best tennis shoe on the market. Outstanding comfort and stability. Doesn't get any better! Didn't think they could top the FF2's, but they did! ASICS never disappoints!

These are amazing shoes! But WARNING - THESE RUN A HALF SIZE TOO LARGE. I'm putting that in all caps in the hope that past-me sees this post from present-me and doesn't waste all the time and money that this problem created. Also, this problem isn't isolated to just these Court FF 3 shoes. It's a problem with at least the Gel Resolution 8 and 9 shoes as well. I'm always a men's size 11.5. I first confidently purchased a pair of Gel Resolution 8 shoes in 11.5 - as I had Gel Resolution 6 shoes that were great at size 11.5 - and walked out the door with them before realizing just how oversized they were. At that point I couldn't return them, as I'd worn them outside. I tried living with the problem, but it was just not good for such active sports like tennis and racquetball. That money went down the tubes. So then I bought Court FF 3 and Gel Resolution 9 shoes in 11.5. Both were too large again. I had to return them and order size 11s instead. Ultimately I went with the size 11 Court FF 3. They're fantastic. They're super supportive, have a close but not constrictive fit, and are way more comfortable and supportive than especially the Gel Resolution 8s. I can't recommend them enough. Just make sure you go 1/2 size down! (Question for Asics: Why are all these shoes running a half size too large?!?)

There are brands other than Asics worth buying???

Great support and stability. I feel firmly planted on the court even when stretching or pivoting. And I have not had aches in my knees since wearing them like with my old pair of prince shoes.

Best tennis shoe I have ever played in. Locked in no heel slippage. Feet and knees do not hurt after playing as they do with other shoes. Great stability. Feel fast for being a heavier shoe. Normally I like a low to the ground shoes but these have changed my mind. Good room in the toe box. They fit a little long

These were very comfortable on first use. There was just a little bit of squeezing on the inside of my foot (where the metatarsal is) but went away after 2 or 3 sessions and could be due to me having wider than average feet.
Main thing I noticed about these is how good they were at braking. I found that when rushing the net I could stop my momentum almost immediately giving me way more space to run up before I had to worry about slowing down.
Very sturdy feel without being restricting. I can't comment on durability as they're still quite new but overall feels like a very good pair of shoes.

I think ordering a half size up is the way to go with these. Otherwise a very nice tennis shoe, as always!
