Felt narrower in the mid foot than expected. While comfy on climbs, only felt ok on flats and not great on descents (tho the outsole certainly provides enough traction, the shoe just doesn't feel right- I suspect that's due to the drop). Will log a few more miles to make sure, but def not as comfy as my daily driver trail shoes (Cascadias).

I received them, and with regret decided to return them. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and must always use my own insoles, which wasn’t possible on this pair because it’s footbed was tight already. Loved the look, the cushion of the shoe. Overall loved the shoe, and would have kept them.

These shoes hurt my feet. I got a blister on my heel and they elevated my plantar fasciitis. Sending them back.
Sorry

I had such high hopes for these shoes. First off they make my feet look huge but I still tried to wear them because I love Brooks shoes. I typically wear Ghosts but I decided to try these because of the color. They had nice extra toe room which I liked but the soles just weren't very comfortable. I tried them for one shift and my feet hurt so bad afterwards. I did like the grip on the bottom of them though.
Then after I tried them on, I noticed that there is a color difference between the two shoes. And one side looks like it's peeling! How? I just got them! And put them on!?!
Do not recommend these at all.

I have worn Caldera's for trail running for nearly 8 years now; I am a serious Brooks lover. Sadly, this newest gen of Calderas has so many hotspots I can hardly wear them (cue the tears). They still get a couple stars because they look amazing, they fit true to size, and the cushioning is amazing. The lugs are solid on fine dirt, wet trails, and a dry/rocky blend. Overall, I'm just sad they don't work for me because they're a strong shoe otherwise :(

I had the caldera from last year and loved it. I went with this years caldera and not sure about it at this point. The changes may be why I'm experiencing knee, feet and lower back pain. I'm wearing my old caldera this week and will try the new ones again next week to see. Haven't had any issues with the old pair. May be sending back for adrenaline shoes unless they have too many changes too!

The Caldera 6 has been good for walking and standing, especially in winter. When running, the ankle support/ upper fabric doesn't match the thickness of the sole. After running or playing sports in them my ankles feel weak/tired. Very comfy, but not for me.

I used these shoes recently, alternating with a pair of hiking boots, to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain. 40 days, 490 miles. I broke them in before I went and they were very comfortable. I never even got a blister. However, the first week the fabric started falling apart. And when it rained and was muddy, the center channel under the heel filled with mud, weighing and slowing me down. It was annoying to have to stop every five minutes to try to scrape the mud out of them. If I do another Camino or long distance hike/walk again, I'll find a different shoe.

The arch doesn't sit right for my foot. I've never had this problem with any of my other Brooks.

So I have been on a journey to find a new pair of running shoes since Hokas suddenly are not working (and I have tried them all). This shoe is very - strange. It provided good arch support but somehow the cup it provides in the back (just referring to the shape here) is too deep - I ended up with it really aggravating my Achilles. Sending them back

This is a very well-made shoe, and I wanted so much for it to be the one that works for me! However, the toe box was too narrow for my feet! If Brooks could incorporate the wider toe box of the Altra design, their shoes would be perfection! I prefer the Brooks heel-to-toe drop to the Altra zero- drop, and I would choose Brooks every time. Please figure out a way to combine your superb cushioning (of the Glycerin or the Ghost, for example) with an 8 mm drop! Please!

I've been using Calderas for a few years now. I am really disappointed. They have completely lost the springy feeling that I loved. I think these feel stiff and clunky and huge compared to earlier versions. I won't be buying them again.

What happened to the wide toe box? This shoe is now so narrow my toes are pinched and I have narrow feet. Used Caldera's for years but have gone with another brand now.

I took the quiz that recommended this shoe. However this shoe makes you feel as if you're walking on the sides of your feet. The design on the outside edge rubs the toe when you walk

As a huge Ghost fan, I had high hopes for this shoe. Even though it's not as cushiony as the Ghost, I liked the sole and the rocking motion when I first tried them on. But after my first outdoor outing (an 8 mile walk), I nearly lost my right big toenail on the hard toe cap. Unfortunately I had to return them. My dream shoe is the Ghost with a trail tread! Maybe one day, fingers crossed.

These may just not have been the right shoes for me, but they gave me arch pain and then hip pain. I had purchased the Ghost shoe prior to this and loved them without any issue. I was hoping to do some off the trail running with these which is why I purchased them instead of the Ghost. Anyways, I returned these and plan on ordering another pair of the Ghost shoes because they are better for my feet.

I use hoka shoes, and trying this one is a huge difference. It feels uncomfortable & my feet won't last a 12 hour shift. Not for me.

I ordered the brooks caldera 6 and size 6.5. The box is correct, however the shoes are something totally different. Revels and a size 6…not 6.5

The back heel cup was just grinding on the achilles of my right foot - even wearing these around the house which was the test/break in, it was pretty bad. Didn't mind that they were a bit funky looking, but these didn't work out.

I have to send them back. They hurt the inside upper ball of my foot really badly. I liked the cushion but the pain was unbearable. I walked around in them and they felt ok but when I went for a 6 mile run it started around 2 miles and got worse. It started with the joint of my big toe and ran across the joints of my other toes. Not a fan of this model. I'm really disappointed because they were wide enough and cushionie but cause my foot to ache really badly.
