I have been using the Adrenaline since 2013 and wanted something cheaper with support for casual activities. This shoe is exactly that. It is pretty good, but will not replace my Adrenaline.

The shoe itself is a very supportive shoe with a stable base and offers a bit of rocking motion to propel you forward. What I did not realize until further research is that if you have high arches, this is your shoe. I, however have low to no arches and a wide foot. After one mile, I wanted to kick them off. This was NOT the shoe for me! I'm not sure now what shoe to go with, but I will need to return these, if possible.

These are just a little too stiff for my liking, but not enough for me not purchase another pair.

Let me begin by saying I am flat footed 300lbs muscular build man with wide feet. I am a travel medical professional and I walk a couple miles a day. I use these as gym and everyday walking shoes and my shins get fatigued sometimes. Other than that they are pretty good at hitting that light everyday shoe spot. For any other heavier exercise or increae in miles I'd be looking to another shoe for my build.

I liked the color & I already have 2 other pairs of Brooks sneakers. Unfortunately the cut on the right shoe was too small & it rubbed the side of my foot & I couldn't wear them. I wish I could have bought a pair in a wide width.

Show laces broke after two weeks but overall shoe is as expected. I have been running marathons/half in the launch line for many years.

My first ever pair of Brooks. Confession, I do not run in them, but do a lot of walking as a nurse during my 12.5 hr shifts. I love the support amd the springy step the shoe provides.

There are many things I like about these shoes -- sole lessens the impact of outdoor running, the insole is highly contoured, which keeps my feet well-positioned and reduces "toe smashing" in front. The reason I give a 4 and not a 5 is, despite the overall great fit, the section around the largest point of my foot (just before the toes) is very tight. It can be quite uncomfortable if I'm wearing the shoes for more than an hour. Overall, the shoe fits well, so I don't want to go up a width. But maybe the overshoe could have been a bit stretchier in this particular section.

The sizing of the shoes seems a bit odd. The right show is about a half size smaller than the left shoe. I have other pairs of brooks that do not have this issue.

I was a long time Brooks Glycerin wearer, but then Brooks made some unfortunate changes in the Glycerin 18's and 19's (sharp heel tab and very narrow toe box), so I've been searching for a new running shoe to wear. While no shoe will be able to match what the Glycerin offered in the distant past, I believe these shoes will do the job. I was always a 10.5 or 10.5 wide in the Glycerin, but in the Launch 9 GTS, I am a size 9 wide which was shocking. Unfortunately, the shoes are still a bit narrow and a 4E would be ideal for me as I know would be ideal for MANY people. Seems Brooks makes their shoes a lot more narrow in the past couple years. Definitely love the lightweight of these shoes and they offer decent outer foot support. Definitely sacrifice some cushion for the lightweight, but hopefully it will be worth it. Big thanks to Zappos of course for the awesome customer service in helping me eventually settling on a size 9EE from my original order of a size 10.5EE.

I upgraded from version 8 that I really liked (which was an upgrade from the rivena). I had to buy a 1/2 size larger. Although it is suggested by Brooks and many reviewers, I went with my regular size 10 but needed to exchange for 10.5 after trying on in home. After 1st run (4.2 miles), the shoe has a familiar feel and is a good quality running shoe, but they do feel big. I feel that the shoes will open up and I anticipate that the left shoe (smaller foot) will always feel big, even with a lace lock. Also, toward the end of my 1st run, I started feeling the long tongue on the left shoe. Oh well, these are my gym/treadmill running shoes and I plan on getting good use out of them over the winter months, hoping I get used to the larger size. Glad I caught a good sale in case they get donated soon :)

The color was perfect, and the fit was great. The only issue was the short laces! They were not even long enough to use the heel lock eyelets. I'm not going to spend this kind of money if I have to change out the laces. I'm going to return them and look elsewhere.

These started out being very comfortable, but are now (less than two weeks later) hurting both my feet when I wear them all day. They are fine for a few hours. I liked my other Brooks much better. Probably won't buy this model again.

The Launch 9 was recommended by Brooks' own website as a replacement for the discontinued Ravenna line. I've been wearing Brooks for about 15 years. My Ravenna 10's were the most comfortable shoes I'd found, and still are. The Launch 9 is tighter than the size implies; I've always had 10 1/2s I even had my feet measured at a local store. Way too tight for the size, enough so that I've considered tossing them. The sole is substantially thick enough that they absorb most shock while running with them, however, they get a little slippery when they're wet. Not a lot of wet traction or traction over grass or turf. Overall I still have what is left of my Ravenna 10s and will grab those over these.

They are just ok. I've been running Ravenna since 2013-2014 and prefer those over the new launch series. The 8 GTS were fine but I haven't found the sweet spot with the Launch 9 GTS yet. Toe box is good, but I'm having to lace them up tight to keep my heel from sliding. They are super light though. I run 4-6 miles, 3-4 times per week.

This shoe has the same problem all brooks shoes have - The soul does not feel even. The feel is like stepping on some gravel - not total even. It get worse with mileage on the shoes.
