I have purchased Brooks Adrenaline GTS for several years. I tried on both the Adrenaline GTS and Glycerin GTS, and thought both provided the great same support but the Glycerin's provided a bit more "bounce." I purchased the Ebony/White/Nightlife, and my one comment is that the Ebony was not as as dark as expected. Still a good looking and very comfortable shoe.

I don't use them for running..they are for work! I work on my feet all day on marble floors and these are by far the most comfortable and supportive shoes I have found.

Felt true to size, very lightweight and comfortable shoe. My only minor complaint is the tapering on the toe is a little more than I prefer. If I got them again I'd probably go a half size larger, but they've also broken in well in a few days.

Good fit, comfortable and feel more stability than with my other shoes. Hopefully this aids my bad knees.

I recently went to climb Mount Washington in NH with my daughter. It was a Dad/Daughter bucket list kind of thing, she had been bugging me for years. When I got to the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trailhead parking lot I pulled out my trusty Zamberlan hiking boots. Except. They were my wife's trusty hiking boots, not mine! My daughter looked at me in dismay. I said, 'I'll walk up with the Brooks shoes' and she kind of made a look. It wasn't too bad a day, some fog or cloud. We hiked up to the Lake of the Clouds Hut. My Brooks shoes were damp but holding up just fine. We made it to the peak and then a long climb down Jewell Trail with some great views. The whole time my Brooks shoes held up no problem. I know they tell you 'never use street shoes to climb Mt Wash' but they don't know Brooks! Great shoe.

I originally got these shoes because they were recommendation from someone I know that uses them. To give you some background on my overweight guy 6'2 about 330. So I needed something that was going to help because my feet were hurting using other shoes. When I first got them they were really great! Very well supported, alot of cushion best shoe I had ever put on my feet. I got them, well I ordered them March 13th I believe and today is June 20th. I was really hoping to get more out of them maybe the 5 to 6 month range, maybe that's being delusional. I'm only wear them for work and working around the yard and basically my everyday pair of shoes. I noticed last week that I had a little ache in my foot when I got up the next morning which I thought was odd. Today I'm limping a little because of the back of my left heel is hurting a bit. I feel like it's a great shoe not sure if it's for someone my size. The beginning it really did give me the support that I was looking for. Brooks were the first pair of shoes I spent $170 on, I just wish it would have lasted a little longer.

My feet are difficult to buy shoes. I had to return the first pair and the company did without hesitation. very easy to deal with Brooks.

I'm on my third pair of Glycerin GTS 20 for 2023. The first two pair have a hole in the left shoe on top. I've only had this third pair for a month so not sure how they are wearing. The first two pair have approximately 350 miles of road running on each pair. The holes appeared around the 200 mile mark. Other than the holes the Glycerin GTS 20 is the only shoe I run in.

Purchased for my hubby who has issues with pronation and needs cushioning—he’s an athletic 6ft 4in and 200lbs. My hubby uses these for Orange Theory a few times a week.

The Transcend meets the Glycerin and the perfect shoe is the result. I thank you all for listening. I truly adored my Transcend and admired the Glycerin. The Transcend was perfect except the cushioning was a bit too firm for anything above 24 miles while the Glycerin was to soft for anything over 10 miles. "IF ONLY Y'ALL COULD TAKE THE BUILT OF TRANSCEND AND PUT THE CUSHION AND COMFORT OF THE GLYCERIN WITH Y'ALL, I BELIEVE Y'ALL WOULD HAVE THE PERFECT SHOE," is what I use to tell your reps at runs and customer care agents. Then BAM!!! Next thing I knew, here's the perfect shoe. I've ran multiple marathons in the GTS and will run many more. After completing the grueling distance of 26.2 miles, my feet are still ready for more. Speaking of more, I have another suggestion. You should begin a Heritage/ Hall of Fame Collection. This collection should consist of the best of Brooks in the most popular color(s) ever. After all, how do you improve on perfection you don't. I would welcome the TRANSCEND 5 in Red. But it's just an idea, right?

Great cushioning and toe box room. Have bone on bone knees so my running career is stymied but I walk 3 to 5 miles 4x a week on road and path

These Brooks fit perfectly and from the first time I put them on they felt broken in and that’s because I think they were. These were not boxed as Brooks shoes normally come. There was no “stuffing” in the toe which is normal. The toe of the shoe was creased as if they had been worn and the laces were tired differently. The material felt like a pair would feel after several wearings. I’m sure these were a pair someone returned. Yes, I’m keeping them because they fit well as all my Brooks shoes have and, after examining them fully, they otherwise appear fine. However, I do object to paying full price for a pair of shoes that, to me, appear to be someone’s return.

Yes they are comfortable but the color is not at all accurate for 492 . I have the Drip color. The parts that look grey are light sage green. The parts that look black are dark ash grey. It looks good the the advertisement photo but in person it looks horrible! The photo I took looks way more accurate to what it really looks like. Also in my opinion Brooks shoes run narrow and small. Im a woman who wears a size 7 or 7.5 in Mens shoes but I always have to buy a 9 in brooks. Also ladies if you need a wide men's standard width is a ladies wide.

Brooks GTS are my go-to running/work-out shoe, and also do excellent on long walking days. Glycerin is even lighter. The sole wears out faster than desired, so if you're a serious runner you may be replacing these every 6 months or a year.

These shoes are gorgeous! I absolutely love them! They fit perfect and they're very light and cushiony but they don't make you feel like you're unbalanced because of the thick sole. This is my first purchase from Brooks, they just won me over I will be looking at them more often.
I'd also recommend:
Reebok, Asics, Hoka, New balance etc
