I have worn nothing but Brooks shoes for the past 15+ years. In the past two or so years, Brooks has decided to change/update some of their best sellers such as the Addiction Walkers, which I was a huge fan of. Due to various changes and updates of Brooks shoes, I contacted them directly and they recommended the Glycerin GTS line for the comfort I was looking for, since I could no longer find the same comfort as I used to. The Glycerin GTS was a huge miss. Not only is it narrower in the toebox compared to the Addiction line, but the cushion seems to be non-existent as it felt hard as a rock with just a tiny bit of cushion in the heel. I have been looking for shoes which have a lot of cushion throughout the foot, and this one is definitely NOT IT! Prior to ordering this GTS pair, I ordered the HOKA Bondi 7 because I have heard such great things about them. I am now hooked as the HOKA Bondi 7 feels as if you're walking in clouds. Sorry Brooks, our relationship is officially over now.

The Glycerin GTS20 fits really great. Large toe box which is perfect for my feet. I do wish Brooks carried more fun trendy colors for wide widths though.

I’ve worn these shoes before, have a wide foot, and know they stretch out a bit in the toe area. I put an orthotic in them and have plenty of room with the removable insole. I use these to work out and for heavy duty walking while traveling.

I searched the world over until I found true love and Brooks Glycerine.....you are it!! I have bad feet, plantar fasciitis, bone spur, bad ankles, you name it. Inherited from my grandmother. I can slip my 3/4 orthotic in here for a perfect fit. I wear 9.5 in boots, regular shoes, etc....and bought a 10 in these so that my toes have wiggle room while doing a lot of walking every day. I haven't felt a running shoe this comfortable for about 5 years while I've been struggling to find the perfect one. These feel even better than the Asics gel kayanos I use to wear up to about 5 years ago when the brand went down hill. These are way better and I'm very relieved. I bought the GTS version of these because I do have some slight pronation but not really sure it's even necessary to have the guiderails. I can't even tell they're there.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell, La Canadienne, Brooks, Vionics

I wear an 8 in Saloman, but with these an 8.5 was better. Wonderful roomy toe box and great cushion for aching feet

fit and size great. I have narrow heels and the shoes fit perfectly. Look forward to putting some miles on them.
I'd also recommend:
None, Brooks are best. Worn nothing else for 30 years.

I tried probably all of the Brooks overpronation options. This one was instantly more comfortable when I put it on. It gave more room around the toes without being too big and the shoe felt cushiony and stable. I did not have to tie it as tight as the Adrenaline in order to get support in the middle of the foot. It seems perfect for me even after wearing it around the house for a bit. That is incredible considering I have multiple problems with my feet. I am always "compensating" for something and causing something else to flare up. I am very hopefully this will be a very good thing for me. BROOKS, if you are listening: I need NEED MORE COLORS AND OPTIONS IN THIS SHOE!!! That is my only complaint. There aren't alot of choices: give us neutrals please and pretty colors that aren't glaringly loud. I will buy both if they are available!
I'd also recommend:
None. This is THE BEST.

True to size, did not have to size up from street shoes. Bought both these and the hooks gaviota 4 (wide). Regular width of glycerin gts was comparable to Gaviota 4 wides. Gaviota was more stylish/better colors/more up to date looking, however, glycerine was more supportive and comfortable and much better made. Gaviota had much more exposed foam and will not be as durable. Gaviotas were returned. I used Gaviotas in the past but the Gaviota 4 were not fitting well as in the past versions. Also tried adrenaline gts, they were much smaller in the toe box, and stiffer but will probably purchase them in wide too since they come in white. I work in the medical field and stand for 12 plus hrs a day. Glycerines have been wonderful as I have bunions and require a wider toe box. My only wish is that they had prettier or more stylish color ways like hoka and nike and maybe a white version. Ultimately a great stability shoe that I will use for work and running. I notice the older population had these shoes on a recent vacation . I am much much younger, and felt these may have a senior-ish style feel to them, but after chasing a toddler, always on my feet, comfort trumps style at this point. These are great for working out and running too, I really am not too style conscious in that respect and know a lot of runners who will only use brooks. Great shoe, purchased two pairs glycerin gts already, in addition to the brooks Cascadia 16 for trail runs. I’m a brooks girl now.

For the first few minutes they felt weird as I walked in them becuase there is SO much support from th ball of the foot to the heel, it felt a little like my foot was rocking forward off of the support, but I quickly got accustomed to it. They were a lifesaver on my trip to Las Vegas where you have to walk a million miles for everything. I have POTS so fatigue is a common occurrence for me and these really help me keep energy longer. I also played pickleball in them yesterday and they were great on the court too.

My Glycerins of old are back again! I wore these religiously for years and then came a switch and they were dead to me, and now they’re back! Great support mixed with maximum comfort! I do hiit workouts, short runs (5k), and a variety of other activities 6x’s/wk. I don’t recommend these for spin (even with the cage it’s too squishy in these). Wish they had an all white version! The black and white is good tho. I got my usual size 7. They feel a bit generously sized but 7 is still the right size for me. I tried the regular glycerin and it didn’t have enough arch support. Not sure what GTS means but it gave me the arch support I need.

Love these shoes! I’m on my feet 6 hrs a day, walk on chunky gravel and have a bit of arthritis in my foot. These shoes feel substantial and stable and the cushioning is great. Much prefer to my old standby the Adrenaline

I have a pair of Glycerin 19s and like them a lot. These are great shoes, very comfortable. I wish they had a little more cushioning but otherwise they feel good when walking. The toe box is wide enough for my feet and the heels are narrow enough, which is hard to find.

Why must shoe companies make changes to shoes every year? The Brooks Glycerin GTS 19 was comfortable and the perfect shoe. I wore mine for two years. I purchased the GTS 20 and they have no arch support. When doing lateral movements during workouts, my feet slide in the shoes. My feet hurt after wearing them for eight hours. These shoes cost $140 and I can only wear them occasionally. I have been wearing Brooks for years but I will searh for another brand.

Love the feel of these shoes! I have to use custom orthotics but these shoes make me feel like I'm walking on a cloud all day! I wear them at least 9hrs+ per day and they last about a year before I've worn them out and need to replace them. I think that's reasonable for the wear and tear they get each day!

My first time trying them! I used to wear the style Ghost all the time until I found out that I need to Glycerin GTS. They are very comfortable, great support, and breathable! They also are light weight as well.

These are great! I work as a CNA in the hospital and am on my feet all day so I really needed a shoe I could count on. I've worn New Balances and Adidas in the past, but they don't compare at all to these. My feet would be so sore after my shifts and my heels would kill me. But ever since I got these, my feet feel so much better and my heels don't hurt as much. Wearing these kinda does feel like you're on a cloud. I like to pair these with my soft ankle compression socks from Copper Fit. I definitely recommend for people on their feet for long periods of the day!

I've been buying the Glycerins for about 5 years, before that I was running in the Adrenalines. I used to buy the narrow size, but as I get older my upper foot is flatting out, but my heel is still narrow. So, I can't wear the narrow anymore as it hurts my foot. What I have to do is order a 1/2 sized smaller in order for my heel not to slosh around and also always, always a runner's lace. With that said, I was weary ordering my normal size as I kept seeing reviews saying they are running short this year; order a 1/2 size up. However, I had nothing to worry about, the length of the shoe is the same as my last 4 pairs of shoes I purchased over the years. I keep my old shoes for gardening and stuff like that, so I still have them to compare. So if you have been wearing Brooks for awhile, don't worry about the reviews, the new 20's are not any shorter than they used to be. I will say they are a bit roomier in the two box, but my toes angle, they are not straight across, so I always have more room in the toe box than others. Overall, another winner. I got my Brooks in the mail last night, took them out on a trial walk this morning, and I think they are ready for my run day tomorrow!

I just bought the lilac glycerin 20, I believe this is about my tenth pair. Love the shoe even as the numbers change. I have tried other brands but always go back to the glycerin. The best thing about this is my all time favorite color

Very comfortable - recently when I walked, I would get a lot of tension along my calf and thigh but these have completely eliminated that! I find them good for walking, running, and HIIT, so far. Very stable shoes. They have more lift than I'm used to, but I really like that cushion, since I often feel like I step hard.

I like the shoe but the left shoe is a little irritant on my arch. I don't blame the shoe. I think because my prior shoe had no arch support, my arch "fell" and it just needs to have time to the support of the Brooks. They are really comfortable. I work in Healthcare and I'm on my feet alot. Glad I bought a pair of Brooks. It really does cradle my foot well

I love the glycerin style with rounded toe, lots of cushioning, and slim (not bulky and happily the sole does not stick out the back of the shoe which is a tripping hazard!) The toe box is roomy which I need because one foot is slightly longer than the other and need the extra room and length in the toe box to accommodate both feet! The sole is a bit thicker and bulkier than I would prefer, but does provide good cushioning. Very comfy and cute!

Overall, I love how my feet feel when I run in the shoes however, I have not had them very long and they are already coming apart. I have never had this issue with any of the Brooks I have had in the past. I would love to replace these before my toes go through, but I cannot afford another one at this time. I would definitely get another pair of these if I knew the toe would not do this again.
