Holes formed at toes. I owned them about five months and only wore 1-2 times per week. Problem started when I began wearing them to walk/jog 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week. The holes started shortly after. Most comfy shoes ever! Hoping it was just a fluke and plan to purchase another pair soon.

Have worn glycerins for several years. The new Glycerin 20 DOES NOT have the same amount of cushioning of feel. Very disappointing as I have problems from previous surgery and this was my go to shoe

These are very cute and fit my wide foot well. I did not have to order a wide. I have worn this sneaker in the past and love the cushioning in the shoe itself. What I didnt like this year was all the added foam on the heel of the shoe which changes the feel of the sneaker. While the drop of the sneaker is the same it feels very different with the added height and heft of the foam. Too bad, they are going back.
I'd also recommend:

Wanted to love them sooooo bad. They look so nice. Way too much rubber on the bottom for me to speed walk. It's like I needed to be closer to the ground, not do high. The cushion though was AMAZING. If you are at an office and don't need to speed walk get these! Wonderfully comfortable for that, and certain colors are awesome. Wish Brooks would focus on neutral colors. It's hard to match wild colors with my outfits.

I tried two different pairs of Brooks Glycerin 20's and have found a problem in the left shoe toe box area over the big toe. The shoe creates a dent on the outside above the big toe and rubs on the right top area of that toe causing much discomfort. I thought at first it might have been on the one pair but I ordered another pair and had the same problem. They both were returned. Too bad, I liked them except for that problem. I hope the manufacturers read these reviews.

I usually get the glycerin. I had bought the glycerin 19 and it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I got the glycerin 20 and my feet hurt after the first day wore them a few weeks then returned them. Soles are different and not as comfortable.

I've worn the Glycerin for years. The Glycerin 20 did not work for me at all. The 8.5 was to short in length and the 9 was to big. There was enough width, but shorter in length then the older versions. Maybe due to the sneaker being pointy in front. I hope that the 21 model will be better for me.

Love the overall design, style and the new colors just totally rock so I'm giving 2 starsbut I've been a hardcore glycerin fan since the 14's and my 19's have finally broken down and I ordered the 20's and am hugely disappointed. My feet have been just KILLING me every time I wear these! Tried them for over a few weeks thinking maybe I had to break these ones in. Sadly I finally had to just give in and return them. Not sure what changed but it wasn't for the 'good' for me. Back to the running store to search. So Disappointed!

As a longtime customer, the Brooks Glycerin line has been my go to shoe. Years ago I was fitted with Glycerin 17 shoes at a running store and LOVED them. They were the most comfortable shoe ever - I told everyone that they were like having little pillows strapped to your feet (nerdy, I know). I went on to the Glycerin 18's after that. I purchased the Glycerin 20's hoping for the same 'ultra cushiony' fit, but these shoes were disappointing. I felt the soles were rigid with virtually no cushion at all! What happened Brooks?! I did give 2 stars because the styling is nice as usual, but these shoes are a no go for me and I will be returning them and sadly continuing on my 'next shoe' hunt.

The soles were a cheaper material than the 19s and didn't seem like they'd hold up. Looked and felt cheap and had an opalescent shine to them. The tops also felt like slinkier cheaper fabric than the 19s. I first bought the 19s on the advice of the Hruska Clinic's shoe recommendations, and since the 19s aren't made anymore I thought that 20s would be similar...they were not.

Not an improvement. I had to return these as the toe box has been reshaped and doesn't fit like previous versions. They are also much more cheap plastic than previous. Will be looking for a new brand.

I am sorely disappointed in the Glycerine 20. I've worn 2+ pairs of Glycerine per year for the past 5 years. Eaxh incarnation has minor changes, but the 20 took it too far. Laces are flat and cheap, keep coming untied - never experiwnced that before. The tongue is no longer attached to the sides, so ot slips down constantly. Past glycerines have an attached tongue almost like a sock-styke shoe. The sole has some kind of nitrogen charged pocket. It makes the support less firm and squishy not stable like thw 19s and before. I had to hunt a pair of 19s online - wow. What a difgerence on my fewt and knees. Cannot believe Brooks went so cheap. I won't bother with anothe 20 or the next series. Will have to look to New Balance.

These shoes had a rubber strip on the inside at the front of the shoe and it pulled away on each shoe. It was really uncomfortable for my toes.

I purchased these and every brooks I've owned I wear a 8, these hurt the top of my toe. I guess I should have went with a 8.5.

I've bought Brooks shoes for years and have been satisfied with them. This style, for whatever reason, bothers my feet. I have pain that shoots along the bone above my instep while wearing them. At night, when trying to sleep after wearing these, my arches bug me. I don't have pain, but my feet just won't relax. I have to massage them, but they still bother me all night. I had to quit wearing these shoes.

I'm very disappointed in the Glycerine 20. It does not fit at all like the previous Glycerine shoes. The toe box is enormous. I always wear women's 10.5. This 10.5 fit like it was one or two sizes too big. I could not tighten the shoe without having the top of the toe box bunch up. The heel box is not as deep and is bigger than previous Glycerine heel boxes so the shoe felt floppy. I am returning them.

Need to make variety of these shoes in WIDE. Only have 2 colors to choose from in wide. That why I don't buy sketchers anymore.

I purchased the newer Glycerin but this shoe simply doesn't feel like the prior Glycerin shoes I've purchased. The foot bed is too wide and the sole of the shoe has worn out so quickly. If I could return this shoe, I would.
I'm very happy that I purchased the Adrenalin and love that shoe.

Right toe wore through from outside in less than two weeks. I wear these shoes at work where I am on my feet and knees on smooth concrete all day. With my ghosts, this didn't happen until six months. Still too soon for the cost of the shoes

I only wear Brooks glycerin because of the amount of cushion and these were no exception! I love the style and color of this particular shoe….they work wonderfully at the gym, whether I’m lifting weights or on the treadmill!

They are the most comfortable sneakers I own. And the Christmas theme is so cute, but not overbearing.
