These are the typical shower slides. I felt the support was better than other brands but after an hour or so of wearing them, the one edge of the top band rubbed and caused a blister. I hope they soften up a little. Although the size was true, if you are undecided, I would size down rather than size up. All in all, I'm satisfied.

Slides are great for college dorms, or having to share a bathroom with roommates. They are comfortable, and dry out really quickly. (They dont really absorb water in the first place as there is no foam for the top of your foot)
