I have been satisfied wearing Ryka Sky Walk for several years and thought I would purchase Devotion XT training shoe. I found that the shoes were short in the toe section and am in the process of returning them. I am disappointed that I can not order without trying shoes on.

So bummed with the lack of cushion in these shoes and how much the heel slips! When the shoes eventually got here (I think they walked themselves from California to New Hampshire) I was excited to try them on. I know the return policy says that once they are worn for exercises you can't return them. So I jumped and danced around the house, trying to mimic some of the Zumba moves I would be doing later in the day. I noticed the heel slip during this trial, but thought I would just wear thicker socks and tighten the laces as tight as they would go. Cut to my Zumba class. After about 15 minutes of Zumba I could feel the contours of the sole of the shoe. The cushion in the toes are a bare minimum. Dance and Zumba require you to be on your toes quite a bit. This is extremely disappointing as now I cannot return them, but instead am on a search to find insole that will provide the proper cushion. Who knows, maybe I'll find something for the heel slip as well. The colors are great, just like what is advertised, and the laces stay tied (these are the only reasons the shoe doesn't receive a 1 star rating)

My last pair of Rykas I purchased after extensive review for a sneaker where my feet wouldn't hurt after a lot of walking and they were awesome. This pair I wore and didn't walk as much as I usually do and my foot had the usual ball of foot pain I get with all the other brands of sneakers I have tried. I wore my original pair of Rykas the next day and no foot pain. They look identical except for the color yet this pair is not the same.

Do not buy if you have wide feet. They are advertised as wide, they are NOT wide. Not even a little bit. I couldn’t get even close to getting my foot in. Beautiful coloring but very narrow

I ordered this one and the Ryka Devotion Plus 3, and I can't believe how much more comfortable the Plus 3 is! This one is easily being returned and the other kept. The difference is in the sole insert. The Plus 3 is so cushioned and supportive that I won't even consider swapping it with another insert. This shoe--the Devotions XT--has a "memory foam" insole that is very thin, unimpressive, and uncomfortable.

Although the footbed is comfortable for walking around, my foot does feel supported for the side to side movements during Jazzercise. The heel feels low on my foot and the tongue is not padded. These are not what I was looking for for Jazzercise.

These don’t have any arch support, and actually felt much smaller than the 11 Ryka Devotion 2 plus and 3. So which is the correct sizing?
These didn’t do anything for me and will go back,
I'd also recommend:
Vionics, Ryka Devotion

I apparently bought the wrong shoe. There's another pair that I've purchased twice before that are more flat and do not cause knee pain as these do. I'm sure it's a good shoe for someone with a different... foot design, just not mine. Thanks

Meh...I bought them because of all the ranting and raving. I am now wondering if these people have never worn a decent shoe before because they arent that great at all.lol. I think my Nikes, AASICS, New Balance are all far more comfy and easier to run nd work out in than these things. I will keep them because i hate dealing with shipping returns but I am not happy with them and will probably just throw them away.

I really wanted this shoe to work but it was too narrow for my foot. It felt very comfy except for that.

I've worn Ryka shoes for the studio for over 20 years and although Ryka shoes fit me great and they function well, the last three pairs I've gotten have had an issue with the sole peeling away at the outside middle. I successfully glued it back once. Also, bring back the mid-top that doesn't have velcro.

I bought these and when I rcvd. them and tried them on, they were NOTHING like the quality they had a couple years ago. the footbed is not the same, they must have changed manufacturers. they have sacrificed quality for profit.

From the start I could feel where the shoe's pieces came together on the inside. This sensation disappeared with a few days of wear. The big problem with the shoe is that they left the area where my big toe meets my foot on top feeling deeply bruised. These have been worn at least 5 hours at this point and are broken in but still deeply bruise my foot every time I wear them. This purchase was a bust.

I planned to use these for line dancing and had read about Ryka being the ideal shoe for that type of activity. I was greatly disappointed to find that they were very stiff and had no arch support. They also felt a bit narrow. I will be returning these.

Felt a little longer than a typical size 7.5. The back of the bottom heel was too wide. I lost my balance and fell. I will be returning them.

the size is accurate, and the sole is comfortable ...my issue with the shoe is when walking the top of the shoe cuts into my foot uncomfortably. Sad because my previous devotions are so comfortable

I have worn Ryka's for close to 20 years. I have loved them except that the soles wear out too quickly. This is the first pair I have seen with no arch support. So I returned them.
On the other hand, the dark blue color looks much better in the daylight than it does in the photo. .

These shoes look and fit great, especially for my wide feet! However - that rubbery pivot spot that is supposed to allow pivots in Zumba.... well, it sticks to the wooden floor! I have read reviews by others, trying to understand the complements and it seems to me that they are written mostly because the spot is there, not because of how it works. Zumba is filled with quarter and half turns and I don't want to risk twisting my ankle or stepping around the turn to avoid the pivoting action. Best sole I ever found for Zumba was fairly hard and slippery, with enough strategically located ridges to enable sudden stops. They don't make that particular shoe anymore... Sadly, I am returning these shoes and my search for the right Zumba shoe will continue.

I have the Ryka tenacity for dance workouts (high-tops) and was looking for a shoe that would take up less room on my suitcase. This shoe was not as well-suited for dance workouts, as the soles were squishier and it's almost like there was too much material in the lace/toebox area -- it would bend and dig into my foot as I worked out. It did run true to size with the Ryka tenacity shoe.

These shoes have a lot of potential - they have a nice color combination, have removable insoles, fit a narrow foot with orthotics and have great cushion. However, the outer border of the sole is not flat but rather curved, especially on the heel. This makes for an odd wobbly feeling and the great potential for a turned ankle especially with lateral moves. So disappointed!

I did like the style of the shoes, and how lightweight they were. I have only owned these shoes for four months, and they have already came apart. All I do is wear them for work (retail) for the money that I have spent on them I would have expected them to last longer.

I bought these since cross trainers with cushioning are so difficult to find in other brands. I am looking for a shoe with good support and especially cushioning for high-impact aerobics as well as lateral support and not a very wide waffle or grip so that they move across the floor. These were great...at first...after only a few wears the foam seemed to already start breaking down and the support and cushioning went away! All in all, they feel cheaply made to me. I wish Ryka would add some good old rubber to the bottom to make them hold up better even if it does add a few ounces to the weight. I am going to back to ordering cross trainers from another company.

I bought these for jazzercise, and after a couple weeks the little rubber pieces on the soles started peeling up. It would create a flap that would trip me up while teaching classes. Not good. I sent them back and got a replacement, and they did the same thing after teaching one class. They are very supportive and cute, but I can't have shoes that fall apart like that. Still waiting on my refund for the second pair.

I love Ryka shoes and that is the only brand I will buy. This is the first pair I have not liked and am sending back. They were uncomfortable from the moment I put them on. I wore them around the house for a few hours and could not wait to remove them. My feet were very sore. I think for people with some fat on their feet, these could be good. I have very tiny feet- all skin and bone. So, they were not at all good for me - way to hard and stiff. I will stick with Ryka's memory foam shoes from now on.
