I've been wearing these for 8 months now and am highly impressed. They have a wider throat than regular boots so getting them on is really easy for folks with a high instep like myself. Being able to set the tension on my instep in a slip on boot is a dream come true for me. No awful break in, just dial it in and go. I've had no trouble with the boa mechanism. I did, as always, upgrade the insole and that coupled with the boa system has made one of the most comfortable pair of boots I've owned.

Boots are true to size and comfortable. The BOA feature is a nice feature as well as can adjust snugness around ankle area. I am still breaking the boots in, so can't comment on durability at present. Overall would definitely recommend purchasing as a quality pair of work boots.

Solid, comfortable, and the ability to tighten them up with the dial is amazing, I've had these a few months now and they've held up, I'm on cement all day in and out of cars, and they keep my feet comfortable, I can work under a car all day and my feet feel fine, best pair of boots I've ever had

Absolute best boots I've ever worn! I swapped in the Energy insole and that was icing on the cherry pie BOA! I do everything in my "steel toe" Ariat Boots; Patriot to these BOA, and I do mean everything from indoors to outdoors... They're simply that comfortable. Safety Boots are a must when building rockets at NASA. Heavy pieces, parts, skins, structures, wire reels, etc. are always a blink from landing on your toes... which might be enough pain to launch you into space! LOL My Ariats have saved my toes more than once at work... And more than once outside of work, including when someone drove over them with a car. I wear them to mow grass, garden, hunt, fish, drive, walk at lunch, log trees and when going out or attending social functions. In all of my years in Texas, there is one lesson that I've found to be true everywhere in the world and in every profession... Your feet are your foundation and they deserve the best... and my Ariats can go from work to Black Tie, just fine. Especially in Texas. And if someone somewhere takes issue with my boots, they've never had the cajones to say so. Plus, these days, steel toes are handy wherever you find yourself.

I have owned these boots for 2 years now and I have never been happier with any other boots. I have been in construction for 14 years and have destroyed several pairs of boots in many different brands. I am here to say these boots did not disappoint. They are comfortable, durable, and convenient. I would have never worn slip on style boots as I work in rafters and climb ladders often. I didn't feel safe wearing slip ons but with the boas the boots are secure and it make it safe to work in. I also am able to remove my boots and put them back on very quickly when entering customers homes. I have seen reviews stating that the boas caused some discomfort to their heels. The only time I have experienced this is when I would put the boots on with out activating the boas. My recommendation would be to get a better fitting pair or to wear a thicker sock. Overall a great boot and when mine finally wear out I will be purchasing another pair.

Best wearing slip on boats I've tried for long days at work!1

These are work boots so do not expect them to be super light, but they are quite comfortable. I have walked in running water up to the boa and stayed dry. Walking through mud and water all day and they did not leak. Hard to ask for more.

These boots are everything I was looking for and then some. They fit perfectly and the break in process has not been like any other boot I have tried. The ability to adjust these boots for the perfect fit adds another layer of comfort and wearing them all day, this is the boot you want.

Work in a warehouse house 12 hours shifts and have a small farm. Love the easy on and off of cowboy boots however after a long shift my ankles would ache. These BOA boots give a bit more support then a regular cowboy boot. However after breaking my ankle I feel I need more support. I like how these boots bridge the gap between lace up boots. Color runs darker then the pictures give justice. Easy to forget to do the BOA , but when you need more support it's super easy to fix. Turn the dial to comfort and keep on trucking. Wish I would of picked the wider toe option, but it's not so bad that I'd return them. Save that for my next pair. Hope they keep these around.

I love the idea of these boots, but I absolutely hate square toe boots, I would love to see these combined with the 10001187 style boots with the dark copper color scheme and round toe. These would then be the absolute PERFECT boot for my tastes. If you could make this happen that would be awesome.

Most comfortable work boots I have ever worn. I usually need to put special insoles in all my work boots or my feet will start hurting after 12 hours ut not with these boots. Comfortable from day 1 and still just as comfortable a year later

Finally a pull on boot with lace up type fit. I have narrow feet and heels and so far i love these boots. I can dial in the fit throughout the day. My only complaint is that the insoles were not comfortable for me, but I switched them out for some that are and no problems since. Easy on in the morning and easy off at the end of the day. Don't stop making these Ariat!

I have had boots similar to these just without the boa tech, and they have lasted me 3 years with 0 issues. Just bought these and they fit and feel great.

I have had these for over a year and they are still very comfortable and the BOA system still works like new. I wasn't sure that I'd like that feature, but now I don't want another pair w/o it.

These boots have a great feel to them. The BOA system secures them to your feet with just the right amount of pressure. I am very happy with these boots so far!

These are some of the most comfortable boots I have worn, I would definitely suggest finding a place to try on the boots cause I am usually a 10.5 but I ended up getting a 9.5.

I have had these boots a little under a year and I kick the crap out of them! I do hydro vac excavation with them, also do scrap car work and construction! There has been all sorts of oil n stuff on them and they clean easy! They take a beating and are the comfiest boots I have warn! I'm buying a 2nd pair soon! It's awesome having the little tightener to snug up the boot!

My very first pair were groundbreakers, they were so comfortable I had to get another pair! When I saw the BOA boots I had to have them! The comfort of the BOA's is amazing, I will never buy a different brand of work boots again, ARIAT 4 life!!!!

The boots are very comfortable. The BOA system is very secure and convenient to use. Not a big fan of the design but I will have to get use to it.

I'm always a bit wary of either leaving reviews or reviews left with only a short time with a product. Though wow!! These boots!! My first pair of Ariat and I was immediately impressed with the materials and construction quality. Solid in my hands, yet on the feet they feel surprisingly light (unlike other work boots I've had that feel like swinging bricks!). And the comfort. My oh my. The Boa snugs up over the top of the foot and front of the ankle to anchor into the heel cup. It's easy to fine tune as well. I've worn these for some electrical work, in the snow/ice/mud/slush of Maine winter, and even to the office yesterday (yeah, they look that good!). A long pant just covers up the bright colored leather ;) Anyhow, the only other shoe I've worn in the last 4 days are slippers. They're THAT comfortable. I did need to swap out the factory insole with a set of Superfeet Carbon that I had taken out of some shoes I no longer have. I did try a Superfeet Green though they added too much height and the boot no longer fit. With the Carbon in there I have all the arch support I need and a low enough footbed profile that the Boa still adjusts perfectly. Looking forward to a long life with these boots and will definitely be replacing other footware with Ariat as they wear out! On the fit; my feet are kinda small and narrow. I typically wear a 8.5 or 9 in most footwear though had to go with an 8 to get the right fit. Tons of room in the toe box still and easy enough to get on and off.
