These shoes were beyond my expectations!

I recently purchased a pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes online (Felder & Briggs). The sizing was a little different from other shoes I've owned so I ended up exchanging them for another size. The assistance and communication I received pertaining to the exchange was helpful, courteous, and efficient. The look and feel of the newly exchanged pair are fabulous -- couldn't be happier! My thanks to the staff at Johnston & Murphy customer service! Keep up the good work!

These shoes are the perfect hybrid of elegance and sport. I thought they were so suitable that I now own them in two colors, Taupe & Dark Gray. From the start, I was a big fan of how these shoes were presented, there is something so fantastic about a shoe that comes with a Dust bag. By the way, if you're buying these, you need to buy Shoe Shield. The suede is not pretreated and waterproofing is a must. My only whine is that I believe these are discontinued. I hope these will come back in cycles or at least evolve into other variations. Thank you!

Very nice shoes but cant find a size that fits. There is too much material over the top of the foot on this model. JMs sizing is very inconsistent from shoe to shoe. It must cost them a fortune given their generosity of covering shipping both ways.

I found these shoes to be true to size and comfortable, but there is no extra room, so if you find some shoes run small for you, then you might want to jump up a half-size. I wear a 13 and although my right foot was a bit snug, I think the shoes will stretch a little over time and I'm not close enough to a 14 to move up. There typically are no 13.5 sizes unfortunately. I like these shoes for jeans and khakis and for going into the office in today's more casual environment. I will say that I do wish the soles were not white. The soles are a dead giveaway that I'm wearing sneakers and not dress shoes and is too stark a contrast in my opinion from the brown. I would have prefered black soles so they looked more like my dress shoes.
