ASICS have the best shoes for overpronation. I've had knee issues from overpronation, but I haven't had any knee pain since I started wearing these shoes!

The 27s are the best yet. They are the slightest bit longer than the 26s.

I have been a longtime fan of ASICs runners for many years. The Gel Kayano has been a model of often used. As a trail runner this is a great shoe and gives the much needed stability for uneven terrain, jumping over rocks and gripping tough uphill climbs. The gel cushion rewards on the downhill when your heel strike is more in action. For the trails I give it a strong 5 stars. But when I turn to the sidewalk or road running the shoe is hard on the forefoot. Anything longer than 3 miles or more I suffer from either the lack of cushion or flexibility in this part of the shoe. For me this manifests as tingling and numbness in the my forefoot and toes. This is why I gave the Kayano a 4 star because it just lets me down whenever I move onto harder surfaces and doesn't support any distance running with comfort. Ive tried other ASICS models and I get the same outcome. There is something that the shoes just dont do for me in comforting my forefoot.

Great stability shoe, good venting (my feet don't get hot). This is my 3rd pair of the same Gel-Kayano 27. The Tokyo color scheme is apparently unique to this year. I love it.

These shoes are fantastic. I recently had knee surgery and finally getting back into running, these do not aggravate my knees at all, plus are true to size, have great cushion and comfort, and good tread/traction. Highly recommend!

There seems to be more room in the toe area compared to previous Kayano Gel versions. Running, lifting, aerobics all seem effortless in these. I'm breaking these in now, to get ready for a 10 miler this year.

My daughter loved the style and comfort and given she is just recovering from a major hip surgery it was important that the shoes provide her great support as well.

These are surprisingly fantastic shoes! "Shoes" are such a underwhelming noun for how I feel about these actually...maybe training enhancement equipment instead? I feel perfectly balanced, I haven't had foot, shin or knee pain at all since wearing these during my various morning training routines, and my performance times and resistance abilities instantly improved. I actually put a survey out to my friends (distance runner, cross fit fanatics, weight loss devotees, etc.) prior to purchase, as I was a die hard Under Armour fan for many years, and the vast majority rule was ASICS. I mean, it was a landslide! I am very grateful for their recommendations and I (and my aging body) are especially grateful to ASICS. If you could make office/dress shoes for women...I'd call our relationship exclusive.

I've been wearing Asics Kayano shoes since 2010. This has been one of my favorite Kayano shoes. I wasn't crazy about the 26's, but the 27's were total redemption! Great fit right out of the box. Whether you're walking, jogging, or taking on long distances, I highly recommend this shoe.

After nearly a month of ankle and leg pain, just one day with these shoes relieved all complaints.

I love love love my Kayano's, they are great for 10+ hour work days and for the occasional run. I have full support and comfort that I hadn't found in any other running shoe.

These sneakers fit so well, and they are so comfortable...just like the older style Kayano's!! For reference I am a solid size 10 and they fit perfectly...I do have a narrow foot.
