I got the all white or cream versions of these, the leather was not suede but smooth leather, they've lasted so long and I've really put them through the ringer. I don't skate on them, but I am not a person who is gentle on shoes, I even wore them through some winter grime and slush. I had to buy a new pair after a year and a half of every day wear because I stepped on the heels too much and they broke, I'm sure if I was more careful they would not have. I wish they had the same kind and color, I think it's probably more durable than the suede. I had to go with the light grey and suede version, but my girlfriend liked them so much she stole them instantly, a con of being relatively close in shoe size, but a testament to their style and comfort.

These shoes are cute and comfy and the color is beautiful!

Really wanted to buy these again but they stopped making :/ I bought the low cut leather and high top suede and loved them. Wish i could buy again

This is my 2nd pair of Gilbert Crocketts. I am a health care worker and can go all day in these, better than my running shoes

My son loves these. He's had a couple different styles of Vans in the last year and grows out of them fast. He's super tall and wears a size 13 Men's and said they are really comfortable. It is nice that I can always find a sale and apply my Vas Family discounts.

Comfortable shoes right out of the box. I order 1 size up because they are a little narrow for my size 12 wide feet. Fit great. Light weight. Have many pairs of Vans in my closet.

I got these to wear as an every day shoe. I wear all black at work so these give a subtle touch of color and I love that they included black laces. These look great with the all black and are much more cushioned than other vans I've had in the past. Both in the sole and around the heel/tongue of the shoe. Very excited about these :).

Been wearing mine daily for about 3 years now, they're just now getting pretty thin in the sole. Really low-key stylish, minimalist with just the right amount of Vans pop with the stripe. For me, it is the perfect black sneaker, draws attention by how minimal it is. Also a big fan of the gum rubber colored sole.

I needed a crisp white sneaker for the office and came to Vans to get the comfy cush old skools, but I noticed these on sale and thought the leather might be easier to keep clean than fabric. I've had several pairs of Vans before and loved them, and I got the same size as all my other shoes. They do fit differently than my 3 others Vans, but I can still wear my normal size. They are longer overall, but thinner in the toes like some other reviewers mentioned. I think because I have short feet they still work for me because my toes don't get squished, but if you had longer toes I can see that they would be tight on toes so maybe size up? They aren't as squishy as the comfy cush but still really comfortable and more supportive than the regular sole Vans. Not a skateboarder, but I bike commute in them and am on my feet a lot at work and the quality seems very good. I've been wearing them everywhere, because they're comfortable and look good with everything.
