Material blend between canvas and suede looks fantastic, very comfortable, wearing them constantly.

Love these shoes. First pair of Vans and they did not disappoint. Recommend even for squatting!

First pair of vans. Should tried them a long time ago. Will make sure I always have a pair from now on. Very comfortable and cushioned. Lover zero drop. Hi-tops offer great support for wonky ankle prone to rolling and sprains.

the quality of these HI's is amazing. the fit and finish is superb. they are very comfortable and allow my wide foot to stretch out and my toes to breathe. the soles are super grippy and super soft to walk in Love the color and love the removal of Vans banner flag from the sides.

I got these because they're more comfortable and wide than most vans. They're a clean look, and a little different than the same Sk8 hi that everyone else has.

These shoes are awesome. I've got a few hundred hours of riding a pair, with minimal wear.. Some splitting on the sole. NBD. Keep making them!!!!!!!!!

After having issues for a couple of weeks and wearing them quite a bit I can say that I am very pleased. I can't comment on the durability yet, but I'm sure they're on par with my other Sk8 hi. The color was a bit confusing before I ordered Not sure if it was more brown or more gray. In the flesh these are definitely more gray which is what I wanted. The removable insole has a lot more cushion than the classic sk8 hi. The only big difference I've noticed is the tongue has some elastic lashes on both sides to keep it centered. It's a very wide lash so it doesn't put increased pressure on the foot. I'd love the color and style. Very happy with this purchase.

First of all the shoe color way is immaculate. Flick on these are perfect and the shoe grip is very nice, best high top skate shoe I've skated so far.

I have worn a 10 in skate highs, eras, old schools etc. Been wearing vans for 25 years and the Crockett high RUNS BIG, but is an amazing shoe. The ultimate update from a skate high.

Having worn Van's for most of my life and for skating, these joints definently cought my attention. In theory, the Crockett high is the perfect skateshoe for ppl who want a more form-fitting shilloutette, but not to sacrifice cushioning. I also see the crockett highs as a successful predecessor to the classic sk8-hi. fixing most of the flaws that came with them (like unneeded bulkiness and lack of flexibility). Out of the box my pair took much longer to break in than expected (about a week and a half of skating consequatively), to get to a point where I could really feel the my ollies and foot orientation on my board. Also as you can see from my pictures, I cut the sidewalls down on each shoe due to them feeling initially restraining on my ankle movement during the break-in period (would DEFINITELY do this again with every pair). What sets this shoe apart as well is the waffle cup outside tread, which in my opinion, is easily Van's most durable tread design and lasted much longer than I expected. Wasnt untill about 3.5 weeks of skating that the sole fully flattened out (I do more transition stuff and a lot of pivoting in my forefoot so the bottom is usually what wears out first for me). Lost little to no grip with the sidewall blowout in my ollie foot (after about 2 weeks), with help from the added rubber underlay in the toe cap. My only issue construction wise is the heel cup; heel lockdown for larger feet were not great in my experience with these and needed to add extra fabric to the heel area to compensate. Overall, the crockett highs are definitely the best Van's I've ever skated (with the Half Cabs as a runner up)when it comes to checking all the boxes of durability, decent grip, and board feel. Did continue to experience the same problem with these I have with all Van's tho, which is the waffle outsole flattening out quicker than most other skate shoe brands; but for the price and premium design vs their other vans models makes for a pretty well performing shoe. For reference I wear a SIZE 13 MEN

Great fit - all exactly what I expected. Not to color. Pictures indicate a bluish hue on the sole - actual sole color is black

I love these shoes, but I was sent a brown/tan color and the shoes I selected are bluish/grey.

The aesthetics of the gum series are perfect. They are not as comfortable as the Vans Guard series which has a lining on the inside which I think helps with the high tops. This detailing is better than the blue / gum high top I bought which rubs on my pinky toe. My favorite high top to date is the customs vans guard I bought a year ago for comfort, just not aesthetically pleasing as the Crockett.

I love the shoe however the sizing is off - I normally wear an 8 in womens (6.5 mens). My size was sold out so I figured I could go up 1/2 a size. The shoe feels like it is 1 size bigger. I didn't return because I really wanted the shoe so I added inserts to try to help with the size disparity.

I had to return my original pair and reorder because these shoes are so tight at the ankle I could not even get them on. So be warned, they do not fit the same as SK8-His. I ordered a 1/2 size up. I wish they had this color in the Sk8-His.

The shoe looks great and was delivered without delay or discrepancies but the sizing is weird. I wear an 11 which is what I ordered the first time but they were too big. Returned the shoe and ordered a size 10.5 instead but these were too small.

These shoes look and fit great once they are on. However it is nearly impossible to get them on. I have blisters on my thumbs after a few days of use. They should come with a shoe horn.

I bought a pair of these a year ago in a different color way. I bought a new pair and the materials in these new ones are way worse.. Disappointing.

These are obviously skate shoes so I can't say anything for that but the bottom looked decent for bmx, I found this with the half cabs too but the soles to soft for foot jams and my Achilles Tendon hurts bad from the weird heel, the grips ok for bmx, honestly it's also a Vans BMX shoes prob too, I love vans and I'm just wearing bmx to wear them

This shoe has been out of stock for anything above a Men's size 7 for over 6 months. If you have a factory up and running, I'd pump out a few that fit grown ups.

This product might be amazing, but we will never know because it hasn't been in stock in a size that fits a human man in more than 5 months. Are they planning on ever producing more of these? do they even actually exist? Is this all just a game vans is playing? No one truly knows...

Well, the width is good but these are too long. Vans are the only shoes that fit me perfectly.. apparently with the exception of these. Shame.
