I love Gentle Soul boots. I must own around 8 now with a few shoes. Quality, well made and always soft leather.I loved this little shoe boot so much, I bought it in the chocolate color too. I ordered a half size up as I usually wear heavier sock with my boots but they are nice and roomy. Some reviews say they are running big but I did not see that problem. You will not regret buying them, they are so cute with leggings. Beware of the Amazon knock offs. It the boot comes in with a canvas inner lining, it is NOT an authentic Gentle Soul boot. All Gentle Soul boots have soft leather linings.

Looks great, stylish, reasonably priced, but I feel it runs a bit big, so I would order 1/2 size down. I normally wear a 10 but if I had it todo over I would order 9 1/2. (You can always wear heavier socks though if it's a bit big)

These shoes are beautiful and stylish, however they’re cut very long and narrow. I have a narrow foot and the width was perfect. The length was strangely long - maybe a half size too long. I’d have sized down by 1/2, but that would get a shoe that’s just too narrow. I wanted to love these shoes but will send them back due to the odd shape

I bought my usual size, an 8. The boots are a good fit - loose enough to wear a medium weight sock. Comfortable for all day wear.

True to size. I even have room for my arch support insert, which helped with the comfort. These are very well made. I like the back zipper. - and the brown leather zipper pull is a nice touch. I walk a lot and these have allowed me to do so without blisters. They just replaced my favorite ankle booties that were worn out.

These Emma Zip Boots are beautiful! I am so impressed with the packaging and well detailed and secure they came in the box. Gentle Souls never disappoints. Unfortunately I have to return and I am so upset. I have Plantar Fasciitis, neuropathy and Fibromyalgia thrown in there...Gentle Souls and Birkenstocks were my go to but for some reason the Left Bootie is tighter making it difficult to walk. I am truly so diappointed...in ME!!! As always...THANK you Zappos and Amazon Prime!

I ordered the boot a half size up because of rounded toe and to wear with socks. I luv Gentle Souls boots and these are just beautiful. Ordered in chocolate brown and they are authentic Gentle Souls. I have bought Gentle Souls for years. On my 3rd pair of moto boots. They are always lined in soft leather. If you get a pair from Amazon and they have canvas lining, you've got a knock-off. I sent a pair back to Amazon for this reason. Real Gentle Soul boots and shoes are quality leather inside and out. Luv them!

I wanted a pair in Chestnut suede and these are perfect. I am over the moon about how comfortable these booties are. So comfortable that I ordered the other available colors and have my fingers crossed they fit as well. After reading the review that they seem to run large I was hesitant but I did order my regular size and while they felt roomy when I tried them on they ended up being super comfortable and I wore them for over twelve hours.

The suede is a lovely color and exactly what I was looking for. The insole is soft and squishy but had no arch support. I put an partial insole with arch support in and now the booties are perfect!

I bought these booties in the cognac color and love the color. I almost always wear a 9.5 in shoes/boots and a 41 in Naot. But they are 1/2 size too long and fairly narrow. My feet are Medium to Narrow so that's no problem, but I sloshed around in them lengthwise. I'll reorder a 9 and see. Should work. Very soft suede upper, stiff zipper, and medium to exc. arch support. They may turn out to be my perfect casual bootie!! I'll write again.

Such a cute bootie but returning because the fit was unusual. The toe is too long and the width too narrow.

Beautiful boot, but they seem to run a half size larger than marked. I must mention how thoughtfully wrapped these boots were! Consideration for the pristine condition of the suede was noted by the additional square of plastic wrap placed over the toe, of the boot, so that the suede wasn't marked by the fingers of the packager. When returning the boots, I used the same method so that the next customer would receive them in the same condition as I did. Kudos to this lovely customer service!

I wear a size 8 in most shoes. In this shoe, I wear a 7.5. I do have narrow feet, but I can wear these with socks and the suede stretches with wear. So I think going down one half size is safe to recommend.

This is an absolutely gorgeous little suede bootie. Sadly I had to return, only because it was a little too narrow for me. My feet are wide up front with a narrow heel, so tricky to fit. But for all you ladies with normal to narrow feet, do not hesitate to purchase this beautiful boot. Agree with the others, it runs 1/2 size large.

The forefront of the foot of this boot is very shallow, making it feel too narrow. I've come to realize the problem begins with the actual footbed/sole is cut too small to be called a M width. My foot is not at all wide and I wear many different Gentle Souls boots and sandals so I'm familiar with the brand. this boot offers none of the footbed cushion that some other GS shoes do. I love that the calf is narrow enough that it wouldn't slide down my leg - but with every step I take when trying them on, comes pain - it's so little in the toe box that I wouldn't last ten minutes. Sorry to have to return.

Beautiful boots but I needed to have a wide width. These were only available in a medium. Gentle Souls shoes are one of my favorites.

This black suede boot is beautiful but I have to send it back. I usually wear a 9.5M or a 9.5N (depends on the maker). I ordered 9.5M. The boot was large in the heel, causing a lot of heel slip. Because of the back zipper, there would be no way to add a pad at the back of the inside heel to take up space. Although the overall length was good and the toe box was wide enough for me, the height of the toe box was very shallow and my big toe was hitting the top of the shoe. I rarely have this problem with shoes but this one is a no-go for these reasons.
