I usually wear anywhere from an 8-8.5 so originally ordered an 8.5, but they were very snug/uncomfortable around the top and sides of my feet. The toe box fit fine, not really snug and no pinching, but would only be able to wear light socks so I exchanged for a 9 to wear thicker socks. The toe box was a little more comfortable in the 9's, and was MUCH more comfortable around the top/sides of my feet. I'm slightly wider than a "B" width in the toe area but could never wear wide widths, they are always too loose/big, so I just try to stretch snug "B" width shoes out a little bit and that usually works out. Also, I think the top of my foot, the area where laces are usually tied in a bow, may be slightly higher than most feet for what that's worth. (In most Sorel boots, I am an 8 - 8.5. I typically buy an Asics Gel Nimbus running shoe in size 9 every year, but in almost every other Asics model I have purchased, I'm an 8-8.5, if that helps you decide on a size...) As for the style of the boot, I love it! I don't think I would go hiking in this boot, but I really like the way these look with jeans for casual wear. Have already gotten a few compliments on them after wearing only once - and one was from my husband who never comments on my footwear! :-)

They fit good except for the top where the strings are were to tight, I sent them back & bought the mens version a 1/2 size up& they come in D medium instead of b medium like the womens
