Typically wear a 9 in Converse, or in dress shoes or boots. Ordered a size 10 based on reviews stating these run small. Returning those for a 9.5, because even with thicker socks the 10 would be too big. Boots should always be slightly bigger than athletic or dress shoes, to avoid constriction and allow room for thicker winter socks, but don’t go crazy. Zippers are heavy-duty, although soft suede material means if the boots are at all loose, it might be tougher to zip all the way open going over where the boot slouches. I’m thinking with time they should get smoother. As far as style, these are very soft inside and out, and have very solid soles. It’s a fun, practical sort of anti-style — they vaguely remind me of the boots Luke Skywalker wears leaving Dagobah to go rescue his friends in Cloud City. The laces are elastic, to adjust for a good fit, and once they’re tied you can just use the zippers. The double zipper means much less trouble with getting them on or off — I have joint pain in my hips and knees, so it’s great not to have to flex or stretch to line everything up to get in there in one correct way. These will be worn in the ice and snow, and with zippers open they can dry out nicely during the workday and be ready for the trip home.

These are great boots, unfortunately I had to return them. I have a condition in both my feet called Charcot foot, which makes it difficult for me to find footwear that fits. The zippers on both sides are great. Sadly, I could not get my left (worst) foot completely in the boot. I think if they had come in a wide size option they would have been perfect. I would highly recommend these boots for people with "normal" feet.

Ordered for my husband who complained about not being able to get a snow boot on easily. This boot opens on both sides for easy foot access. Good arch support.

Loved the style, just too small a full size too small.

Started with 11 1/2 went to 12 then 13 Color is much lighter than pictured, not good. I really wanted these to fit.

I'd hoped the boots would be wide enough, but alas they weren't for me. Should these ever become available in extra wide I'd consider getting them. I really liked the style and look.

Comfortable, but the zippers are a little difficult to zip. Plenty war. Good thing not enough room for heavier socks

love the design of these boots! they seen a little narrower that some other brands, however they do gave laces which you can use to modify the feel of the boot width

My husband loved these shoes and wanted them to work out. Great design, easy to get on and off, however they were really narrow. I returned the first size and ordered the next size up hoping that would work but they were the same way. So bummed.

These were a replacement for my husband's "snow" boots. These fit better and are much sleeker looking. He finds them to be very comfortable.

Purchased for my 12 yo grandson and he loves these warm boots. My grandkids live in Iowa with the cold winters. The zipper make the boots easy to get on and off too. Thank you for the fast shipping!

Great fit. Stylish. I got compliments on them while out in Park City for Sundance.

Really like the dual zip feature as I have difficulty getting into shoes due to many ankle surgeries over the years.

Recommend buying next size up if you plan to wear heavy sock or you have a wide foot. Runs small. Buy really like shoe. Have used in winter weather and it’s a Sorel. Works as promised.

I sized up a half size, zippers alittle sticky but alittle wax took care of that love the styling, comfortable and perfect for snowy slushy wear. First time with Zappos and was very impressed with return policy and I belive his name was Victor was out standing and to top it off they sent the larger pair overnight, Zappos is my new go to! Thank you! Remember everyone, no one is perfect. Cut the hard working people slack, be patient!

My very skinny 17 year old son thinks these are great. Most boots are clunky and too wide on him, but these fit more like a shoe and are really comfortable.

I love these boots but sadly the toe box is too narrow for me and I have bunions so I will keep looking for a great waterproof boot.

Love these boots! My son has issues with his fine motor skills and absolutely hates having to tie shoes etc. This boot is the answer to my prayers! Very warm, fits perfectly and only need to tie one time for initial fit.

Need 1/2 size larger. Marked as Not Available for Exchange, which means I need to return for a refund and then purchase a larger size. That's unfortunate and unnecessary.

Good snow boot so far, still in the break in period right now. Snow wear was during heavy snow and feet were nice and warm.

Look better in person, fit perfectly (to size), light weight, and feel really good about the purchase.

I wear hinged AFOs, and was looking for a stylish and waterproof winter boot. I wear an 8 wide or 8.5 regular width in Billys, and ordered a 9.5 in these Sorel boots. I'm now returning for a 10. I was able to get my AFOs and then my feet into these boots with the insole removed, but it was very hard. When I get my 10s I'm probably going to make some cuts along the sides of the tongue and the zippers so my ankle can turn the corner better. The zippers are very stiff, they don't glide smoothly and easily. I have poor finger/hand strength and found them a bit difficult. I would happily pay $10-20 more for a higher quality zipper that is smooth. The boots are a little narrow in the toebox, if you're used to wider shoes like keens or billys, but not terrible. The leather seems high quality, and the fleece lining is very soft and warm.

These shoes are at least 1 -1.5 sizes to small. I usually wear an 8 had to order up to a 9.5

Feels too wide at the ankle, zippers don't react like they'll last too long.
