I love this packs design with an outward and inward facing pocket. I use it for short day hikes to keep my phone, headphones, snack bar, keys, etc. I also love it for even walking my dog and keeping some treats and waste bags. It's all around a super functional pack that can be used for nearly any use case. I got my husband one too!

This is exactly what I was looking for in a simple, durable, everyday bag. Perfect size to hold my credit cards, basic cosmetics, and iPhone mini. Definitely can tell it will also work great for travel. My husband has been a long time Mystery Ranch fan, and now I can say I am too!!

Fits both my Glock 19 and iPhone. I wear it with athletic clothing when a hip holster or inside the waistband holster isn't feasible. Product is well made!

Great size for grabbing for a dog walk to carry the extras in or carrying an outboard medical kit. Construction is great as usual with any MR product. The strap attachment points are very well thought out as they allow for fluid movement.

I'm a "bits of kit" guy, so when my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes I scoured the net to find purpose built products for her everyday requirements. She needed a bag to keep her medical devices contained and protected, that would be comfortable to wear all day in the classroom or on the playground, and small enough to not draw unnecessary attention to her (she's a shy kid with an unfortunate condition). The Hip Mini fit the bill perfectly. It is small enough for her to wear cross-body and it not interfere with a jacket and literally comes with enough room for her to carry her devices, some carbs (for lows), and also her Glucogon nasal spray for emergencies. THE ONLY thing that could make this bag better for her is if it was lined with flexible cooler material (to keep insulin and ice packs double cooled), but its use case (purpose) is not necessarily for diabetics but for all folks that need a small discrete carry pack. Fits a decent amount of snacks and stuff for hunting but isn't too big.

It's great, I personally would've designed it slightly different but I don't own a company. So I buy the products and love them regardless.

I purchased the Forager Hip Pack when I realized that I needed a small carry-all for when I go out and about, as opposed to a purse. It holds a surprising amount! I can easily carry a wallet, my phone, lip balm, etc. and still have plenty of room for more. I like that the Forager can be carried in many different ways, which gives me peace of mind when I need my items close. I have recommended the Forager to friends and family.

I have been searching for a hip pack that checks all the boxes and I finally found it! Amazing colors, check Roomy without looking bulky, check Dedicated space for sunglasses, check Comfortable, check I'm going to buy a couple more!

We leave this right next to the dog leash for walks. It stays stocked with poop bags and treats. Keys and phone go in also and works perfectly for dog walks

Perfect small fanny. I have the larger one and use it daily. I love them both so much!

I have used this little bag everyday since it arrived. It's a great size to hold wallet, keys, phone, ear buds and that's it. Which is exactly what I wanted it for. The hinges on the strap help when I wear it cross body to not rub on my neck. The back snap pocket fits the larger Iphone 13 barely but it works well.

I love how easy this bag is to wear as a shoulder bag or a butt pack. Perfect size for phone, keys, $ etc. Very cute, very comfortable, just as expected.

I bought this a month ago and I've already successfully used it hiking as a possibles pouch, running to hold the cellphone and wallet, and I think my favorite is using it as a sling/chest pack for holding my fly fishing box, tippets, pliers, and other attachments

I'm always searching for great bags for my different hobbies/needs. While there's no perfect bag, this one comes close. My iPhone 12 mini fits well in the rear snap section, the zippered mesh section inside helps keep some items under control, and it's a small enough bag that the main pocket works well for dumping in the items you need when traveling light without it just being complete chaos in there. I can fit in everything I need for a day out in this bag with the exception of my water bottle. Fantastic execution. There's others at this price point, but this is my favorite.

Waist belt is big and appropriate for the weight and size of the pack. Side buckles are a must. I am surprised all other brands haven't adopted the MR specs. I will get another!

HJAve had it for a month or two and use it every day. Bomber like everything mystery ranch makes. Holds more than you would think!

Solid construction, good coverage on links makes for a comfortable fit when riding a bicycle.

I bought the Forager Hip Mini for a very active four year old girl. She will love the color! I know from my experience with MR bags it will stand up to anything a four year old can deliver. MR makes great products backed by great folks!

Bought this last minute to use at a music festival. It's small enough to be allowed in but large enough to hold a point and shoot camera, extra batteries, small rain poncho and various other small items like chapstick etc. It got tossed around a bit, sat on a few times and held up well. Very happy with it.

I have been using the Patagonia blackhole hip pack and wanted something with just a bit more room. Boom, in comes MR with a bag with just a bit more space. The bumbag is solid quality and feels nice when wearing. The only ding I have is the zippered secure pocket on the inside is very hard to access while wearing the bag. I also wish the external pocket had a zipper vice a button for more security. Otherwise, this is a great bumbag that is offered in a multitude of colors to suit your style.

The zipper opening could be a bit wider without having to increase the size of the pack. That would be awsome

I generally really like this. It's pretty small, which is what I was shooting for. I don't want to over stuff it and have it be heavy with unnecessary junk. If you did stuff it to the max it would still be very comfortable because it is generously padded. Mybi g issue is the adjustment straps which, once cinched down to the correct size, leave 2 long flapping loose ends. There are loops to retain the excess strap, but the straps fall out of these loops too easily, so I'm debating stitching them in place.

I wanted to get a small and understated pack and this one is just the right size. Just enough room for keeping a iphone mini, wallet, keys and pen in a secure place. The regular size forager is probably better if you have a larger phone or more items. The build quality is top-notch. The only trouble I have is with fiddling with the strap slack a little when I put it on. There's probably an optimal way to use the retention bands to make it work better.

Bought this pack for wildland firefighting. It works well for shifting those pocket items to the waist. It fits and blends in well over the fire pack's waist buckle. It's a little tight but fits a notepad, 2 pens, small flashlight, phone, leatherman multitool, some granola bars and a can of dip. It's really nice to clear the pockets out to for when I'm hiking around for the day, and keeps sweat and from destroying my phone and notepads. If I could change one thing about it, it'd be to add another two inches of width and lower profile buckles. Other than the brief struggle to jam my notepad in, it's great.
