This boot was great. I normally wear an 8, but went with an 8.5, turns out the 8.5 was to big. As for the comfort, the left boot gave me a blister on my big toe, but the right boot was perfect. The flex at the toe is fantastic. How ever they are heavy. At 2lbs a piece these boots are over 4 lbs. They are super heavy. And hot. Your feet are gonna sweat in these. If you don't have leg muscles they babies will wear you out after 4 hours of picking at Amazon. Good boot. It's a shame they don't make this style in a shoe. Keen did good on these, but these were just to heavy, mixed with a toe blister ( was wearing coolmax darn tough boot socks) I had to exchange for something lighter.

I usually take size 10 1/2 but it was unavailable at the time of ordering, so I tried the size 10. I had to exchange it for the size 11, with the incredible help of Zappo’s customer service. I like the boots and they feel comfortable.

The Keen Utility 6" Troy in black. My husband really disliked these. Said they felt flat and hard (which could be fixed with removable inserts) but he said they looks like something from space or the future. In other words, they looked goofy, not like a work boot, and that bothered him. The toe cut into the top of his foot kneeling. He also got the Keen Portland Waterproof Utility and the sole must create a zero drop because the boots really hurt his achilles tendons for a few weeks now. So much so that he had to go back to his old boots half way thru each day. He is still working on breaking them in and we are two weeks in. He says he still likes the boot and they are waterproof (which he knows from standing in muddy trenches). I am not sure if we will get these again. I think I need to change out his inserts. So I guess my review is, "don't expect to wear them all day right out of the box". "But hopefully worth it soon".

They breathe like a silk shirt on a warm, sunny, day; like walking on a cool, billowy, cloud.

I love the look of them! They fit true to size . Nice feel in the toebox. Not too narrow . Good traction soles. My second pair of Keen work boots!

Very impressive. Nice fit. Worth the money!

Great boot overall. I'm used to combat boots after my military career, so I'm used to the heavier style. Feels sturdy on your feet, yet very comfortable! I usually wear only Merrell boots, but after giving these a shot, I will be adding these to my collection of "go-to's".

It feels good and very protective. I had this brand before .. they last forever

It's a very very good boot and I love the way it fit. I like the street safety yellow look around the boot. I like how tough the boot is. It's just a all the way around great boot

the shoes are better than I expenct

They seem to fit fine, and look good on my feet too. Ordered half size bigger(10.5 to 11) because Keen boots tend be a bit tight with your exact size. They do look a little “futuristic “, as one reviewer noted, but that isn’t a bad thing to me, as long as they do their job, which they do well. May order another pair, despite the rather high price tag . I am satisfied with purchase.

Finish was great, but the tongue folds dug aggressively into the inner ankle bone. Also noticed, when compared to the Portland from Keen, the sole of the boot has little to no give, hurting the heel if you stand for too long.

Inside of left heel has some plastic piece poking into my heel. Highly uncomfortable. Right side felt great. Makes me question the quality of “made in America”. They also looked slightly worn already as there were scuff marks on the sides.

At first the boots felt tight but I thought they needed to be broken in. After two days of wearing them in work, my feet hurt, then a blister formed on the bottom of my big toe. The lace eyelets rubbed against my ankle bones and the top of my feet. Even though the style is great, the boot wasn't great for me. I was disappointed to find the boot is made of foreign materials, but only assembled in America.

Felt much tighter than my previous KEEN workboots. I am used to having to break them in for about a week, but these kept rubbing my ankles almost raw even after multiple attempts at tying the laces differently.
