Going against the recommendation of some of the reviews I read prior to purchase, I ordered my regular size and was very happy I did. These shoes feel true to size in every way to me. I really liked the original MTN Racer but these I like even better. The material is more breathable, the soles are not quite as stiff (I had to wear my prior version for a few days around the house before actually running in them), the arch support is just enough and the color is quite nice. I haven't done any great distance in them yet - 7 miles is my longest run in them so far- but even on the first run I never had even the slightest hint of a hot spot on either of my feet. Plenty of room in the toe box for downhill but not too much where I feel like my feet are swimming. They're great for hot summer running on trails or roads.

I purchased these to hike the last 100km of the Camino in June '23. I cannot say enough good things about these hikers! Ample toe box, great arch support, light weight, good on wet and muddy trails and stylish, as a bonus! Bought a second pair as a backup but haven't had to use them yet! My original pair is holding up just fine!

I discovered Topo in January 2022, and I am a devoted follower now. I’m in my mid 40s with too many years of high heels, and poor fitting shoes in general. My feet, especially my toe area, are beginning to hurt (maybe bunions?). These shoes are highly supportive, comfortable and the roomy toe box is the best for my feet. No more pain! I order a size up to give just a little more wiggle room, but overall I think they run true to size. The Mtn Racer 2 is a bit more firm and stable than the Fly Lite 4 (I have both pairs) and prefer it for any dirt trails and are great for around town errands too. And I must say this sea green color is just gorgeous.
