Simple winner by Topo. You could sink your money into style, gimmicks, and luxury. OR Pick up your first pair, commit to improving your own lower leg health, and then once again pay below the industry standard for a lightweight trainer. Trendy logo? Nope Carbon Plate? No Energy Return? It's not a credit card, don't expect 4% watts back One day the heel counter was rubbing wrong, and that just didn't seem like Topo's problem. So I ripped that sucker out (no tools required), and my heel pain went away. That's it. The end. This shoe will not win you any beauty contests. It cannot, as the name would suggest, fly. But it is light, and 1/2 ain't bad. The toe box is pretty wide, and so is your foot. You're sole mates. This shoe is for The People. Do you have: Shin splints, bursitis, tendinopathy, Morton's neuroma, Haglund's, plantar fasciitis, four toes, webbed feet, or a gluten intolerance? Awesome! See a doctor; buy this shoe. While I have many other pairs of topos for road and trail, these are my every day go to shoe for being on my feet at work. I've also worn them hiking in Yosemite and on urban NYC adventures. I have them in black and really the only thing that would make them better is to make a version that is all black without white on the bottom. Are you listening Topo? Please??

Every day walks o errands

This shoe fits my foot perfectly. The shoe fits perfectly with no tight nor loose spots. I love the minimal Heel-to-Toe Drop and wide toe box. With normal running shoes I would always loose toenails and have blisters. Since switching to wide toe box I have no issues with my feet. This is my second pair of Fli-Lyte 4 and will continue with them when these wear out too. #sweepstakes

I am not a runner. I struggled to run between 1-3 miles in my old New Balances. My sister, a physical therapist, recommended these shoes. I went for my first jog (literally: a jog) and had my best 5k time in 5 years. Then, I did it again 3 days later without any soreness or pain in my shins heels or ankles. Best shoes I've ever purchased, and never going to another shoe again.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and I've tried multiple shoes from all of the top brands. I'm not a runner -- I'm a 55 year old man with knee and foot issues who likes to walk a lot. I wear these shoes pretty much every day. They are perfect for walking on pavement and are very well constructed. I'll keep buying Topo shoes as long as they keep making them!

Still getting my running legs back The heel pocket is kind of the deep side and upper a little loose on my smaller length foot Tightening helps but as the upper stretches out I will probably have to go to a thicker sock and lose the ground feel

Officiate track and field meets. Comfortable shoes for being on your feet for 6-8 hours.

Color is too bright for me

I average five miles per day with daily walks and bi-weekly runs. So 25 miles of walking and 10 miles of running each week

Use them for running and walking, love the low heel height and overall feel. The wide toe box prevents foot cramps.
