I purchased this boot direct from Rocky, after several days they were shipped via surepost which is a joke. The boots did not fit as they run extremely small in sizing.Boots not glued together very well. Returned boots with an RA.Rocky still has not made a credit to my account. Not likely I will purchase online from Rocky again.

I bought this boot prior to going to Fairbanks, Alaska in November 2023. The temperature was never above 20 degrees Fahrenheit. We did several outdoor activities in the snow. I wore wool socks and my feet stayed warm and dry.

I've had at least three pairs of these boots. I wear them everyday all day. I really like them. They're comfortable at work or just around the house. I'm carpenter and they hold up to abuse work every day. And keep my feet dry working out on our farm. I love how much room the toe box has as well. I hope Rocky keeps make them for along time. The only I would improve is the toe cap could a little stiffer.

Bought my first pair about a year ago, got my second pair a month ago, I use my first pair for work and still going strong (masonry and framing) the sizing is true, durable and extremely comfortable. Best shoes I've ever owned

A great boot for me, very comfortable with wide toe box.
I live in the pacific NW and most of hiking involves steep grades. I have a several year old pair of Danner Mt. Defiance boots that are very hard on my toes to the point of pain and resulting in blood under nails with subsequent shedding toenails from long steep descents making them not suitable for me. Tried my son's Danner Mountain 600 boots which were comfortable but still some small toe trauma on Mt. St. Helens climb a few weeks ago. Bought these Summit Elites on sale and very pleased with them. No toe pain/trauma including Mt. St. Helens climb yesterday.
Compared to my son's Mountain 600s in 11.5W the soles of my Summit Elites size 12W are actually slightly smaller (not sure if the Danner runs large or the Rocky runs small) but the Rocky toe box feels wider and more comfortable to me, the sole/instep feels more supportive and slightly stiffer. Both have similar looking Vibram soles with Megagrip tread compound with different patterns. The Rocky weighs 0.3lbs less per shoe than the Danner boots. Both come with a spare pair of laces which is nice. The Rocky boots are perfect for me and were a great buy.

I have quite a few pairs of hiking boots, my problem is finding a pair in xwide that fit well. These are my first pair of Rocky boots and they fit great. The boots are also light in weight and very comfortable. I will definitely buy Rocky boots again.

I used to wear Rocky combat boots when I was active duty. I thought I'd give their hiking boots a try and I have ZERO regrets. Comfortable out of the box and look great!

As comfortable as a tennis shoe. I use them as my turkey hunting shoes and I have many miles on them, with zero issues.

Love these boots. Use them as early season hunting and hiking boots. Super comfortable. Only issue is within second wear some of the glue around the sole was visible where the leather had flexed. Hoping this is a non issue long term.

I haven't taken these on a hike yet but having tried a lot of boots I'm quite impressed by the quality.
Materials
The uppers are all leather with only one seam and it's a high quality pullup leather that will develop character and patina over time. The Vibram sole is the Megagrip compound which is excellent. Hardware and fabric pieces seem solid but time will tell. Insole is your basic single density Ortholite which is adequate but could be better.
Rocky is one of only a handful of companies using highly breathable eVent in some boots as opposed to Gore-Tex which can be very hot and sweaty. There is a faux suede heel counter cover which, while thin, is better than nothing which is what most boots have.
Fit/Feel
At 11.5 Wide these fit pretty much like an average 12 but they work for both of my feet despite one being 12 C and the other 11 E. It's very easy to lace these just right. The feel is very stable and planted to the ground without any heaviness - in fact these boots are only 2 lbs 6 oz for a pair in 11.5 which is very respectable especially for a full leather upper.
Overall
These boots are comparable to the Danner Mountain 600 in price and materials. The sole appears to be cemented as opposed to injection molded and there are a couple little gaps where you can see the glue but only a trained eye will notice.

I bought these a month ago, shipping was super slow.3 weeks to receive the boots. So l far they work but having only worn them about 3 days I can't give a great review. I do hundreds of miles a year hunting so I'll let you know at the end of this season.

I bought these hiking boots a few months back. They have been worn hiking, working, and now shoveling snow. They're a great boot with good comfort. These boots are so light weight, I couldn't believe it when I picked them up the first time.

The materials are probably great. It's the manufacturing that missed. Even so, the fit is not good. Toe box in the (M) standard width felt bigger than a 2EE. These boots don't hug your feet like a hiking boot should. I tried the BOA lace version as well. Same issues.
I tried to like these boots because my Rocky Long Range's are still the best western work boot I've ever owned.
