I am over 70 years old, 6' 2" tall, and weigh around 215 lbs . This was my first try with "barefoot" designed shoes. The Hana pair I received fit both of my feet like I hoped; no problem. The physical sensation for the front part of my feet (where I have some growing neuropathy) is excellent; no problem. But when I started wearing them daily while walking my dog on the asphalt roads and concrete sidewalks, I encountered big problems. After 3 weeks, my heels became sore, both of my achilles tendons started flaring up with pain, and I began to have temporary issues in both of my knees. So now I have restricted the use of these Hanas only to when I can take hikes directly on the earth's surface (sand, dirt & grass), and daily in my aerobic workouts on various non impact machines (elliptical and Nordic Ski Track). The shoes are working well for both of these. But, to be able to walk on man made surfaces during normal life activities, I have to find a more healthy, elderly design to wear for my older body parts.

I have never had a pair of shoes that made such a difference in my feet and legs. Before I got my first pair of Xero, I was not walking much because my feet hurt. I was also having pain in my knee, to the point, I was ready to go to an Orthopedist to see if I could get relief. It took only a short time of wearing the shoes and I was walking 2-3 miles a day and now I have no pain in my knee. I love these shoes and wear them every day.

I thought I had found the perfect shoe for everyday enjoyed them while they lasted, light weight, comfortable and I wore them for only one summer. I first noticed a problem when I would occasionally trip a little on sidewalks. Took a while for the to realize the soles were separating at the toe. I liked the shoes so much I actually still used them around the house. What was a small split caught on a surface and the shoes became unwearable. the second shoe is starting to do the same. Figure out how to keep the toe sole attached...and I'd still buy another pair I enjoyed them.

This is the 3rd pair of these I have bought. The other 2 are tan - one in size 12 to wear with socks and one in size 11.5 to wear without. I really couldnt be any happier. Ive been wearing minimalist shoes for more than 15 years and they have saved my feet!

I'm a big fan of zero drop running shoes, and wanted a more casual, easy-slip on shoe for everyday use that felt similar. These totally fit the bill. I find them very comfortable. It's probably obvious from the shoe name, but there's really no arch support or anything to these shoes, so keep that in mind. For reference, I wear a 12 in New Balance zero drop running shoes, and an 11.5 fit me just right.

I have tailor's bunions (bunionettes) and these shoes were a godsend. I needed to break them in before they fit perfectly, and I also used a shoe stretcher on them, although that might have been overkill. I can't wear most Zero shoes because the front huarache straps put pressure in the exact wrong place, but these ones only have the back straps. They do fit a little loose but I kind of like it. If I need a snugger fit I just put in my insoles.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable, light, and durable. I have been wearing them almost every day for 2 years and they are great. The inner soles wore out; I replaced them with leather that I cut myself, and one of the side straps that wrap around the back broke from wear, but I just tie it off and the shoes still look and work fine. I wrote to Xero's customer support to see if I could buy just that little strap, and they offered to send me a brand new pair of shoes. I didn't take the new pair of shoes, but it was very generous for them to offer. The tread on the soles is still intact and they're hanging in there. These are great shoes, I just hope they offer them in the black and orange again when I want a new pair. I am not a fan of the all black Hana that they sell now.

I bought my first Xero shoes over a year ago and have happily only worn and purchased Xero since. I stand on concrete all day and somehow these are the most comfortable Ive ever worn. Not just my feet, but also my knees and lower back feel better.

It is my go to, everyday, show. I do wish it had been available in the grey with the orange band though. Really love this shoe.

These are super comfortable shoes because they offer a 'barefoot-like' experience while giving you grip and protection.

My husband LOVES these! He says it is like wearing socks. I have worn Xero shoes exclusively for last five years. This is his first pair. The black with orange accents look great. My dad is now going to order a pair.

I normally wear size 9, but the 9.5 in the Hana was the correct choice for him. My toes fit but felt kind of constricted in the size 9. (For context, I wear socks with these. The size 9 was ok but snug when I was barefoot.) I love these shoes. I wish they had a wider range of colours.

The shoes have a great feel to them. The Hanas may be worn as lace-ups or slip-on, whatever your preference. The availability of half-sizes is welcome in the Xero line, as earlier shoe models only run in full size, leading to an uncomfortable experience.

I am very satisfied with these shoes. And except for my very high arches, they fit perfectly. Leaving the laces loose fixes that problem. They’re super comfortable! I rarely wear shoes where I live so I’m hard to please when it comes to shoes. I highly recommend them.

Great 'indoor' shoe. Flat sole with no heel. Feels like you are walking in stocking feet.

These are my favorites and my go-to. Easy to slip on and off, they are supremely roomy and flexible. Hanas are some of Xero’s least expensive shoes, and in my opinion, they are an exceptional value. Take a little time to adjust to zero-drop, but it will pay off. I always look forward to putting these shoes on! Super roomy toe box and very light. Highly recommended.

Wonderful shoe! Only sent it back because this one was a bit too big and I have exchanged it for another one.

These are amazing. Good quality hemp canvas and the rest of the good stuff from XEROSHOES: zero-drop, wide toe box, minimal cushion. I can wear these at the gym or dress them up with a good pair of jeans.

I really bought these due to curiosity and to just just wear around the house. Once I got used to the different feel and muscles used they are all I wear. Looking at getting another pair.
