Very very comfortable xeroshoe for when dressier is needed. Takes a while to break in but then total comfort. Laces snapped is my only complaint

These are an amazing shoe for business casual wear. Leather breaks in quickly and all that jazz... theyre pretty much what you would want and expect. My only complaint is that around the ankle they are too loose and cant be tightened any more. The rest of the shoe fits great but the huarache straps are too long and I maxed them out when tightened down. I would like them a bit tighter

I loved the look of these shoes, combined with the no-rise design and comfortable feel. The overall fit was great, but I couldn't tie them snugly - the loops that the laces go through at the top of the shoe pulled all the way together without creating any tension. It seems like the strap that goes around the back of the shoe is about half an inch too long given the height of my feet... A near miss since everything else about the shoe was great.

My husband is into zero drop shoes all of a sudden but wanted a pair that was a tiny bit nicer looking than regular sneaker type shoes. These fit the bill. He wears them w/ jeans to work, out, etc. Sizing is true. Very comfortable.

Bought these for my husband who is into zero drop shoes all of a sudden but needed some a little dressier than regular looking sneakers. He loved these. I plan to buy him more in other colors, if they have it! He wears a 10 and I bought a 10 and they fit perfectly.

Can't imagine ever wearing anything else to work

I see many people needed time to break the shoes in. However once I found my proper fit, I experienced no need for a break in period and immediately began enjoying these great quality, good looking shoes. The bison leather is very soft and not prone to holding smells. 10/10

I have recently started transitioning all my shoes to zero drop/minimalist shoes. These ones are a fantastic addition for dress and casual settings. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They look even better in person than they do online!

Love these shoes- wide toe box - so comfortable. Important that I can wear them for all work occasions.

Lightweight, fits well and very comfortable, looks good.

Remove from box. Insert foot. Breakin period complete. I wear these 10 hrs a day, and they've been great. At first I thought they might be a tad narrow but it hasn't been an issue. Only real complaint is the leather laces don't stay tied as well as I'd like. In short, if my only complaint is the laces it must be a pretty good shoe. :)

Nice shoe for the city, suitable for long pants. Special lacing system. The laces are captured by a strap that encircles the heel. This leads to a tighter fit. The problem may be that a slightly thinner foot cannot be tightened well.

The Alston is my first foray into Xero shoes. I read a lot of the information about going barefoot, and thought I would give it a go. Im really happy I did. My feet truly are happier throughout the day. I stand up at my desk at work, so this really has been a test of the concept. The biggest takeaway is that these shoes let your feet tell you what they need and allow you to adjust your posture accordingly. Oh, and they look cool with everything Ive paired them with. I thought it was hard to get them laced tight, but I actually wear them slightly loose at the laces and they never feel like theyre going to come off. Ive tied the laces in a secure knot and just slip my feet in. Next purchase will be some Xero hiking sandals. My other shoes will probably go bye bye.

Currently attending a military institution with a strict dress code. I have about 8 Xero shoes (Prio, HFS, Alpine) and wanted a business casual shoe that was comfortable like all of my other Xeros. I recently purchased the brown Alston receiving many comments from colleagues on what kind of shoe I had and how did they feel. They are absolutely amazing. I took the shoe to the next level as mentioned on the site and leather treated them with Saphir rejuev. Highly recommend.

I LOVE my Xero shoes. Every pairand I have a few! I wear my brown Alstons for my work shoes. I have a pair that are about worn out, so I had to buy another pair!

Love these shoes, anytime I wear long pants these are what I wear, no matter the colour of pants. These shoes have great style, even my wife agrees, and obviously the comfort is second to none.

I love every pair of shoes (4) that I have bought from Xero, I plan to buy more as per needed. My feet and legs have reawakened after atrophying during the lockdown and from years wearing shoes that cushioned ad locked my feet up until circulation was being lost along with flexibility. Although my jobs rehires I walk fro 3 - 10 miles a day, often on concrete, the Xero shoes are better for my feet, legs and spine than the best padded running or hiking sneakers, I have tried the ALL. LOVE the ALSTONS!
