I’m a true 7.5 and chose an 8 but could have gone down. With a thick sock it’s perfect though. I much prefer this shoe to the Xero shoes Prio aesthetically, as I have slim legs and am petite. I love zero drop shoes for good posture and back health.

Love having a lightweight running shoe that goes from pavement to the trail when I am running and from playground to construction side to nature walk when I am momming :)!

These felt great and so cushiony. I love my Prios and can feel the difference and extra thickness on pavement.

I am a Veterinary Nurse and was looking for a shoe for work, I am on my feet and on the move for 10 hours a day and these have need the best choice I have made. Ive tried many types nursing shoes and standard athletic shoes and none of them have had my back and feet feeling this good. This is my third pair of xeros and the only brand I have found that I love! Thanks for making a great shoe!

These are amazing shoes! I had heel surgery a couple of years ago on both heels, and the doctor said I had arthritis on top of everything else. He made custom inserts foe me, but after about a year they hurt my feet more than not wearing them. Then I had another doctor tell me I needed a shoe with a wider toe box. I have always liked the minimal type shoes, so I jumped on the chance to try a pair. I liked the shoes so much that when there was a sale on some hiking boots, I again jumped on it.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are my favourite shoes.
I have tried other brand of barefoot running shoes and they just arent a perfect fit for my feet like these shoes are
I need to find out where I can get them in Canada to not pay for border crossings

These shoes are super lightweight, easy to put on, did not require any break-in for me, and extremely resistant to getting dirty! I do not typically run on the road, as my preference is primarily trail running, but I think it good to have a road runner option. My first couple of runs were on the roads, and they did fine. They do not have any shock absorption, so the first run left me a wee bit more sore than usual, but that was expected as my body adapts. I have to say that even those these are meant for the pavement, I decided to try them out for a run on a non-aggressive trail (DG, dirt, & sand), and they were great. I did notice my shins were a little achy, but that's just a zero drop thing that works itself out the more I run, as long as don't over do it too quickly. I think the HFS's may be my new go to shoes for easy trails now. I wear a 6 in most shoes, 6.5 in most hiking and trail shoes, and I ordered a 6. They fit ALMOST too small at first, but now they're perfect.

Writing this review on behalf of my wife. She loves them! Full disclosure: she's not a runner but she does work out in them from time to time and she really likes just casually wearing them!

I absolutely love these shoes. Ive tried other brands of barefoot shoes before and can say that these are certainly one of the comfiest. As a nurse, Im on my feet a lot so it is important I feel well supported after a long shift. These are definitely worth it and the color choices are so cute!

I bought the Xero HFS after wearing my old Nikes literally to the ground. It took about 4 years to get the soles of the "Flex" low enough to feel the way I wanted. Once those shoes finally got a hole worn into the side big enough for my foot to slip out, I figured it was time.
I bought 2 other pairs of runners before I found the right ones. I run on pavement or packed dirt but I prefer for my feet to be able to move naturally. I also have a wide toe box and a narrow heal. The first pair were another Nike flex: sole easway too thick. Felt like my ankle would roll out with every step. The second pair were another brand of barefoot runners, which I actually loved! But they had basically no sole at all so running on pavement was not pleasant.
Then I got the HFS. And they were PERFECT. They had just enough sole to give me the shock absorption that I needed on pavement but still allowed my foot to move naturally and my toes to splay-all while staying secure on my heels!
It is currently recommended to go up a half size (as of March 2021) but I actually had to go up a full size. The half size actually bumped up against my toe, which was odd for me. Usually I have plenty of space in length but I need more width. But I exchanged them easily, customer service was phenomenal and the full size up for perfectly.
And now I wear them all the time. Whether I'm literally running or just running errands. I also just purchased some of the Prio for my two lower elementary aged boys. A few of my friends have purchased these on my recommendation and love theirs as well.
Xero is definitely the shoe hero.

I am a first-timer to purchase this type of shoe product. I had bunion surgery on both my feet a year ago so I just started working out at the gym again in Jan. 2021. My personal trainer had researched shoes for me and Xerox was 1 of 3 brands she provided. I am a woman in my 50s, 52, average size. After having twins back in my younger days I went from a shoe size of 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 so I ordered that size, and, like others who commented, I did have to return and go up to an 8 which fits just right. The 7-1/2 came to my toe tip with no extra wiggle room. I have some scar tissue from the bunion surgery so my feet/toes arent as limber. I was skeptical at first because the bottom shoe tread is so much leaner than my other tennis shoes. I forgot to mention I am also very flat footed. I expected my feet to hurt from the get go but they didnt. I have to say I am a believer now! Ive worn them everywhere: work, exercise, and running errands. For me, I believe their lean design allows for a more natural movement which is helping my feet/toes regain strength and flexibility. One caveat, my husband and I like to take walks that average 4-5 miles and my feet do get fatigued after mile 4. Right now, I am assuming its because I have to rebuild my endurance and not related to the shoe. So far, its the only time Ive noticed an issue. Other than that, I am ready to toss my old tennis shoes. Ill be curious how often Ill need a replacement pair after normal wear and tear. I am hoping to at least get a year for the price. I would recommend this shoe.

I love my womens HFS. I got my first pair of xeroshoes sandals about 3 years ago. I gradually transitioned into them, but I had a hard time running in the summer, because my feet would sweat so much and theyd slide around. I thought I could just keep using my zero drop running shoes, but they arent minimalist and I didnt like switching back and forth. So, I finally bought the xero hfs and Im so glad I did. They are perfect for running and fitness boot camp. They breathe really well. I wish I could wear them everywhere, but they are blue and purple. Im already wanting a second pair.

I love my new HFS. I ordered up a half size as recommended and the fit is perfect. These are slightly narrower than the Prio and therefore fit my foot much better. Because of the comfort and secure feel, I use these for CrossFit style workouts as well as the running I originally bought them for.
The silver blush color is very attractive and has earned many complements from my adult kids and gym friends.

I am in love with these shoes! I use them for everyday walking, biking, and running. I just tried them out for a 15k race and they performed great! The features that make them so great are:
1. Lightweight- your feet do not feel weighted down. 2. Width- my toes have the space to spread out and be free. I have wider feet than most and these give me the space I need. 3. Bare feet Feel- I love being barefoot and these shoes allow me to have that same freedom when I need to wear shoes.
My only issue was I had to try three different sizes to get the right size for me, but it was so worth it in the end!
You should get yourself a pair!
