I like them a lot! I use them for riding and occasionally for hiking. I have a minimalist hiking shoe that I purchased a year ago that I adore! Ive bragged about them repeatedly on Facebook... Im a 67 (turning 68) yo woman who hikes in Lake Countys tough and very rocky hills at least 4 days a week, and these crazy shoes are my favorite.

This is a great all around shoe. I work in retail at a farm and ranch store. I needed something that gave my feet a bit more protection than the HFS (which are my favorites). These shoes fit the bill perfectly! They offer just the right amount of foot protection while still maintaining the barefoot feel. They were a little stiff when I first got them. Im sure it was due to the sealed inner booty. However Ive been wearing them everyday now for almost two months 40+ hours a week and they are perfect. They broke in quite nicely. I found the sizing to be perfect for me. I wear a ladies size 8. I have a pretty narrow foot so extra width is not something that I require in a shoe. Some may find this shoe to be too narrow for a wide foot. However,... for me they are perfect and I cant thank the Xero Shoes team enough for producing another great pair of everyday shoes!!

These look and feel great to wear for a long day on your feet. I like the hidden strap design especially when hiking through mud and other inclement conditions. The heel fits a bit tight on me and causes a little rubbing but nothing too uncomfortable.

I was really worried about the sizing of this. Because they recommend half a size up. But my old hikers were kinda too big for me, usable but still I wished they were more snug. Basically, I always felt like some Xero shoes are made half a size up, even if it's not mentioned. So I decided to gamble and just take my usual size, hoping that they will fit more snug. And it worked! They seem just right now! So glad I didn't go with the recommendation. xD (For reference, I've always worn EU size 38, it was always fine for me, and 37.5 was always too small. My foot isn't narrow, and I have a high arch.) Now, I've very excited to test these in the field! They seem like they should be perfect for hikes and such.

I just received these boots, and here are my thoughts. First of all can we talk about the color? I purchased the Mulberry color and who knew Purple was a neutral? They are a soft almost grey purple and I suspect will go with anything. Next let's talk about the comfort. I can see myself hiking for hours in these boots, they are light weight, comfortable and my toes are not cramped even with socks on. I did order a 1/2 size up so I can wear a thicker sock if needed. I will be heading back out to Arizona in the next few months and have plans on hiking in the mountains, these will be the boots I will take. I have foot and ankle pain in my right foot, however with wearing any/all of my Xero shoes I do not experience any pain and I have tried every "orthopedic" type shoe and inserts on the market. I am so glad I decided to try them a couple of years ago. with the purchase of these Daylite Hike Fusions, this will be my 6th pair of Xero shoes and I can tell you, they will not be my last. Thank you!

I have 2 pair of these and have walked all around New York City and Denali and no blisters. They will work out your calves because you need to learn how to walk again but once you hit your stride, they are perfect. AND no break-in. I love these shoes.

In Michigan, testing my product review sample from Xero was going to be a little tough. My husband and I decided to go on a five mile hike in the snow on a 10 day. I was really nervous that the boots wouldn't be warm enough for me, because I'm pretty wimpy when it comes to cold feet! I wore two pairs of socks, one of them wool, and I actually kept getting too hot and taking off my hat! Even though we had to step off the path to let fat tire bikers go by a number of times, my feet never got wet, so for snow, water resistant is good enough. I said after that day that the boots felt like a warm hug, and I'm also struck by the fact that I didn't really have to break them in, so to speak. A win! From there, we traveled to Sedona, Arizona, to really run the boots through their paces. 33 miles, 8,000 ft vertical elevation, and still nothing bad to say about these boots. They are showing their wear a little bit on the toe, but they served me well and my feet never felt fatigued (or at least not more than one would expect). I even compared the treads to another hiker just to make sure they gripped as well as traditional hiking boots, and they were exactly the same. I always felt very secure with all the climbing and ups and downs. I appreciated being able to give my arches a little foot massage on a rock or log since the sole is so flexible. Ultimately I love the boots and continue to wear them as everyday shoes now that we are back home. Check out more photos and videos of our trip by searching for the review at Kitchen Stewardship.

Shoes fit fine, I was disappointed with the look of the shoe. They have a cheap shiny look not like the picture at all.

This boot is SO cute, I wanted to keep it! However, the 11 is too loose in the heel for me. A 10 1/2 would be too tight in the toes.

So far so good. Normally I'm a 5 1/2 in shoes but I got a 6 and they fit really good. Just a little side note they're made from China:(

I've been wearing the shoes even tho they're half a size too large (I should NOT have followed the advice to buy a half size larger than my usual size) since shipping them back over the border and receiving the correct size would cost me more in customs/shipping than the shoes themselves are worth. If I had got the right size I would probably be amazingly satisfied with these shoes. I know barefoot shoes are supposed to have extra room so the toes can spread, but mine have extra extra room. Still, I'm not tripping over my toes nor sliding around in the shoe, so I'm happy enough with my new footwear. If it weren't for the customs fee tacked on, I'd keep shopping here, but most likely I'll look for canadian-made footwear next.

I loved them. Then one day when I was taking them off I noticed one of the ilets had broke. I wanted to get another pair but they were no longer available in my size. I will be checking back to see if they are back in stock. But I have to say the customer service was amazing thank you Jordan!!

Ordered size 10 Normal width. Too tight. The star rating above is mandatory. I did not wear the shoes any where or hiked, only tried them on.

I love the look of this boot and was hopeful to trade out my heavy duty hiking boots for these lightweight flexible boots. Pros: it's very lightweight, good traction for hiking without the added bulk of a typical hiking boot. The higher ankle support is also a plus. Cons: Runs very small and narrow. I was expecting more room in the toe box. Unfortunately, the fit was not right for me. I normally wear size 8, but even sizing up to 8.5, the length and width for my toes was very tight. I think I'd need to get at least a 9.5 for my toes to not be pressed into the front of the shoe. Also, after just a few minutes of wearing them, the back side of my ankles was rubbing and uncomfortable. While I liked the flexible sole, when my feet were flexing (squatting down), the upper fabric creased and pinched the tops of my feet. I'm hoping to find a different style of Xero shoes that feels great on my feet, but these were not the ones.

These shoes are super small. I exchanged the first pair for one 2 sizes up. They are STILL too small. I’m going to try again and go up another size. Once I can actually wear them I can tell you more about how they feel but Zappos made me give stars on overall and comfort before I left a review.

Fit was true to size. For a barefoot/minimalist shoe, it was okay. Toe box wasn’t as wide as I expected. The insole was totally flat. The ankle area was pretty stiff and bothered me enough to return the shoes. I suppose the point of a hiking shoe is to give some support, but it felt like it was rubbing too much on the back of my ankle.

I was excited to see these as I thought I could use a heavier pair of hikers. I went with the low tops as I figured the high tops would be too stiff. Well, these low tops are clunky at best. I dont feel the freedom to move in these like I do my other Xero shoes that I LOVE. I felt stiff on the trail and unable to adjust the the trail like I can in the Mesas. But I have to admit that these helped me keep my foot stable (immovable) while I worked through what might have been the start of planter fasciitis so that was nice. I didnt have to revert back to the higher heels on my old supportive tennis shoes.

For me the fit seemed a half size small. I have another pair of zero shoes and was really hoping the for same comfort in the day hikers as the my other pair. The fit just seemed a bit off. Also, I ended up not liking the lower profile of the back of the day hiker, it rubbed and hit my leg in a way that was bothersome.

I always wear a 6.5 or a 7. I ordered the 7 and it was way to small requiring an 8. They had no 8s so I do not know how they would feel in the correct fitting size. I had to return the 7s.

I have worn "barefoot" shoes and liked them, so I thought I knew what to expect. I wanted something lighter for travel, and when walking on rocky terrain, I like being able to feel the ground better. Unfortunately these felt very uncomfortable, as the sole is quite hard and not flexible. They do have a great look.

These shoes are TINY. I returned the first pair and went up 2 sizes. Still too small. I’m going to go to a local store to see if they sell these. I’d like to try on some that fit before I waste more time on these.
