I can only repeat what many others have said: this is an excellent boot. But maybe I can add a comparison to the mix: I own a pair of Thursday Captains, so I will compare the two in case anyone here is cross-shopping the brands. The Nisolos are lighter, have a slimmer profile, and have a little more cushioning. The Thursdays are a heavier and bulkier (by comparison) definitely a more rugged feeling boot. The Nisolos fit true to size and were comfortable right out of the box. The Thursday boots took a whole month to break in (and killed my feet in the process). And, Thursday's sizing is odd I had to purchase some heal pads to keep my heal from lifting out of the boot. Now that they're broken in, they are pretty comfy, but the brand new Nisolos are still better. Oh, lastly, I love that the Nisolos lace all the way up. The Thursday's have speed loops at the top that are prone to come undone. Also, the tongue in the Thursday boot tends to drift to the outside of the foot, which is really annoying. Both boots are incredibly well made with nice leather. The Thursdays may have a little more durability in the long haul (and they claim to be waterproof due to the Goodyear welt, but I've had water get in), but the Nisolos are a bit more chic and stylish (though not claimed as waterproof). Seriously, the Nisolos are the winner in the looks competition: such a svelte, slim profile with the beautiful contrasting trim around the sole. Final analysis: Both are great boots and a good value. I prefer the fit, finish and feel of the Nisolos. These are my desert island boots. The Thursdays have a finicky fit and some quirks (e.g. laces, tongue). I have black boots in Nisolo and brown in Thursday. If I could do it again, I'd probably buy both as Nisolos.

I have wide feet and this shoe runs so narrow that I had to take it to a shoe shop just so they could stretch it out. They really should offer a wide option because these shoes run extremely narrow. I got the Brandy version of the boot and I regret that as well. I find that the leather gets marks and scratches extremely easily. I should have gone with the Waxed Brown version, perhaps that would hold up better as an "adventure boot."

Great quality leather and soles very comfortable. Currently walking around the house in them as Im right in between sizes cant decide if 11.5 is too tight. Definitely dont run as big as their Cortez sneaker

I usually don't leave reviews, but making an exception. Very impressed with the product. There was an issue with shipping (FedEx's fault, not Nisolo's) and Nisolo 2-day shipped me a new pair to make sure I got it before Xmas. Will definitely buy again.

Female that trends masculine here - I love these boots. They are so incredibly comfortable. The quality is apparent from the moment you put them on. Ive been wearing them for about two weeks and Ive received a ton of compliments. They are great for traveling - look great dressed up or down and they are insanely comfortable if you are on your feet a lot. Will definitely be buying more!

I landed on the mens Andres boot in black, as I have wide feet with a bunion on my left, and I know mens boots are, by default, wider (why is this so? Ill never know). That being said, I like the cut of this specific boots jib. The leather is supple, beautiful, ready to work. As you might read - yes, your feet will feel snug, and these will require breaking in. I have no doubt they will mold to my feet and become my tried and trues for jeans, dresses; marching down the street, dancing in bars (whenever that is allowed and okay to do again). The sole of this boot is gorgeous, refined, but not meek. They want to be worn. Definitely look forward to breaking in these bad boys.

They look as good in person as they do in the pictures. I also have large, flat feet. I usually get either a 12 or 13 when buying shoes. I went with the 13's and they're very comfy.

the shoes were tight with my usual 11.5 size i had to make bump to 12.5. customer service was excellent. love the shoes. they are rugged with vibrate soles. will write a detailed review after few months.

At first, I ordered 10.5 and when it arrived the boots were too small. Next morning, I contacted their customer service and exchanged it for 11.5. I have to say that their customer service is as satisfying as these boots that Ive just received. Great feel and look with combination of quality and style.

These boots are great. This is my 2nd pair. Not only do they look good, but they are comfortable. Break-in time is minimal. I like a snug fit. I wear a 10.5 in Vans, and the 10.5 for Nisolo sizing is very comparable.

These shoes are very well made and have little break in period. They look well dressed up or casual. They are built to last and the craftsmanship shows! Would recommend these to anyone that wants a great and good looking pair of shoes.

These are really good looking boots that I expect to last a long time. The break in was quick. I've tested them in snow and rain so far and they've kept my feet dry. The sole is a little slippery in the snow, but that's my only complaint. They are a little better for narrow feet. It would be great if Nisolo could make a wide last. I can usually wear a 10 wide, but I needed a 10.5 in these.
