I bought these to help make my out fits a bit more stylish because my friend said sneakers are the new thing for middle aged me. I was skeptical as I don't wear closed shoes (I live in the tropics). I suffer from tailor bunions, plantar fasciitis, and tendonitis (I am a catch). Last night I had a party, usually when I through a party my feet the next day are in agony. Not today, I am ready to party (in middle age this means) clean my floors and wash dishes. We got down with out old selves till 9:30pm it was that out of control. I was so excited to get these sneakers however the heel was too loose. My heel kept sliding around on the shoe. No way to tighten. Unfortunately they had to go back.

I love these sneakers. They fit true to size and I did not have the issue of them slipping off my heals as mentioned in other reviews. They are super lightweight and comfortable.

It would slip off my heel regardless of how tightly I laced them. The heel must have been two wide for my foot.

Really well made but was a size too big

These are the perfect white sneaker to dress casual things up, or tone formal things down. I wear them with my more dramatic & loud rompers and dresses to balance them out, and they're great. Plus, they're comfortable enough for a day on my feet walking around. As for the fit- I am incredibly happy with these. I have such a difficult time finding shoes that accommodate my high instep, and these fit like a dream. I didn't even have to unlace them all the way in order to fit my foot in. The trick, I believe, is the elastic gores on either side of the laces that give just enough stretch to make room for a "tall" foot. The downside is the heel slippage that other reviews mention. Personally, it only took about 5 minutes for me to adjust to that. The slipping doesn't pull my socks down or rub uncomfortably. I have had these shoes for a couple of months now and they were instantly my favorites. They're the first shoes I've had since I was a kid that fit without some sort of modification (like loosening the laces until they look stupid.) I am in love with them, and would recommend them to anyone who has the same problem.

Cute, casual & comfortable shoe!

So bought these to be a little more stylish than regular running shoes. I am in my fabulous midlife change and these were my fashion yet sensible shoes. I took them to Bogota with me. We went to 3 fairs and walked more than I have ever walked in a city. It was power shopping in a whole city area. My Apple watch told me I was done for the day a few times over. I am proud to share that even with plantar fasciitis, and tendonitis my feet were okay. Tired but not affected. These are awesome shoes. I bought them in wide because I wear wide and I feel it could have been a little more wide but still work.

Fit and size are fine. My feet are two different sizes, and these shoes accommodate the differences. Finally! a sneaker I can wear comfortably. I like that they have a suede finish. The cushioning is great. I like the way they look on my feet.

I am so pleased that Clarks uses leather for these sneakers. I treat the shoes before wearing, to resist stains and weather. These suede shoes will fill most of my needs this winter.

I specially like these boots! They are beautiful, and I am wearing them right now. We have our first snow of the year today, so right now is the time for them. As always, I sprayed them with protectant before wearing.

These are pretty and comfy, good shoes with a small style step up from athletic trainers … look good with flared and boot cut denim and leggings and offer a little extra height (versus pure flats), while still feeling very secure. The black suede look is a nice, more finished casual shoe. Highly recommend.

I really like the sneakers. They feel good and look good for work. I can't wear shoes right now and they allow me to take out the inserts then put mine in and still have a comfortable fit.

Shoes were very comfortable but sizing was a bit larger than the true size.

I have picky feet and have tried so many pairs of casual sneakers. Finally a pair that is comfy all day.

The fit was good. I didn’t care for the gigantic white sole, but the upper was good. The thing is the shoes killed my back. I can’t wear “heels” any more and these shoes have a 1/2” heel hidden in those thick soles. I wore the shoes for about a half day of shopping and when I got home my back was sore. The next day I couldn’t move. It’s now been a week and I am still having trouble with my back. Since I wore them I’m guessing I can’t send them back. I’m regretting this purchase.

The heel was too large.

I have a foot that rolls to the inside and these shoes have a small gusset that doesn't show too well on the pictures - it made my other foot tend to roll inward and I don't need that. If you have a similar problem this may not work for you. The color deep brown was great! wish I could find others in that color!

I sent these back because the white “sole” of the shoe was wider at the heel end of the shoe than at the toe end and it looked really strange. The proportion was off.

These just felt stiff and not very comfortable. Arch support was not great, but they had some support. They just felt klunky.

The W width is not wide enough! I ended a 10 hour, on my feet shift with a very painful corn on my right foot as a result of these shoes. Mighty cute, but NOT Clarks comfortable.

Look great but not at all comfortable. I thought I'd be able to tighten the width with the laces but that's not possible. No arch support at all
