These NB steel toe shoes are more comfortable than my wife's normal Nike shoes. She loves the comfort and soft cushioning. No break-in needed.

I was apprehensive when ordering, because I normally wear a width 6e, the widest they come in is 4e. I received them yesterday and surprisingly they fit perfect. I was quite shocked honestly. My only drawback is they feel heavy so I'm not sure how they will feel wearing them for 10 hours at work. In addition it's a good looking sneaker, at the same time they seem very sturdy and solid so I'm leaning towards it will work great. I will update in 30 days.

I had to buy insoles. My last pair they were included.

Fit is really good, I have worn N-bal before but never knew about the hard toe option. Looking forward to my next purchase of N-bal !

Fit is perfect. Having ample room for my toes is critical, and this shoe provides the ample space that I need. The best thing about the whole experience was Amber. She walk me through the entire ordering experience with professionalism and above all, kindness! She was simply the best. Zappos is very lucky to have her representing them. I'm an old guy, and I've lived long enough to know what's essential and important when dealing with others, and that's a kind heart. I was on the receiving end of that kindness, and it was truly amazing. So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Been rockin' New Balance for two decades and know what fits. And low and behold this does! These are work shoes, so the style is just better than average.

My husband has a very high Instep which requires a quadruple E width. He is so hard to fit! These shoes are a perfect fit for him. They also have steel toes, and with his diabetes tends to develop ulcers. He also has venous reflux disease and is on blood thinners. Now we don’t have to worry about him dropping a tool on his toes. Last time his foot turned purple. He is very pleased with my purchase.

Great, lightweight shoes with long life slip resistant soles, and toe protection! Have been using them for about 5 months now as an Amazon Delivery Driver and they are just barely showing signs of use. Very well made, would recommend for anyone doing alot of walking in a setting were safety it key!

As expected, these are slightly heavy. The size is correct, but feel about a 1/4 inch larger than other walkers from New Balance, probably due to the reinforced toe space.

fit was fine took 3 tries to get the right ones but zappos is great with returns no hassle
