The fit was perfect and I loved the look. However, these boots are very difficult to put on. I even used a shoe horn and had an extremely tought time putting them on. Very disappointed.

The boots are designed to be practical, not stylish. I did not wear them outside so I cannot comment on their ability to keep out water. The boots are pull on without a zipper or velcro strap, so it is tricky pulling them on. (The North Face site does have a Nuptse Bootie II with a velcro strap.) I do not like to struggle with my boots. The fit and comfort level were average. With wool socks, they probably would be warm enough. I am going to return these boots.

So I'll start off by saying, these are not cute. They kind of remind me of the boots that I had when I was a kid in the 80s as far as how they look. That said, they are super warm and super comfortable--so much so that I don't care how they look. I took these on a recent trip up to a Canadian ski town and wore them all over (in between skiing). They are best with leggings but I wore them a couple times with jeans. My kids think they look really funny, but the warmth and comfort are excellent. Comfortable enough to walk the dogs for 2+ miles on a cold day at home. And they are waterproof! I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Cute shoe. But they were nearly impossible to pull onto my foot. And they seemed quite wide once getting them on. Unfortunately, these are being returned.

these are exceptionally wonderful boots...They are 700 down and light as a feather...no pun intended...good traction in the snow and ice...very very comfortable and my feet stayed warm outside in the snow the whole time and.....WATERPROOF (completely) !!!!!! I ordered another pair because I don't think I will ever be able to find a boot like this again.

The shoe itself runs a bit large, I am a true 9 and it was too big. However, the shoes themselves were very difficult to get on, so if I went down a size, I would be afraid I wouldn't be able to get them on at all. I wish these had a little elastic in them or a zipper so they would be easier to put on/take off. I wanted to love these so much, they will unfortunately be going back.

These boots are impossible to get on - I have the same boot from 7 years ago (time to replace them) and they have a drawstring to expand/contract so you can get your foot in the boot and tighten them - these do not - I don't have a large foot, and am a AA width...tried several times (shoe horn, thinner socks, non-wool socks so they slide easier) and actually never got the boots on my foot - really disappointing as I love the previous model.

My right foot is larger than the left I look the style and material of this boot but sizing is a prolem

If you have a larger foot (I am US M 13), it is almost impossible to even get your foot into these as there is no stretch in the ankle area as you are putting your foot in. If you are able to get your foot in, the top of the boot is actually quite open and loose (again due to a lack of stretch) which will not work for me outside as I live in a snowy area and snow will easily come into the top of this boot. This really needs to be redesigned with stretchy outer and inner fabric to work well. After returning these and researching other brands, this seems to be a common problem with these down booties for larger foot sizes.

I didn't realize I could not return these and now I'm stuck. The hole you have to put your foot into is TINY and has no give at all to even get them on. Money down the drain.
