Had to return due to small toe box and toes too tight in toe area.

These would be great boots if they weren't so narrow! Typically Vans are my go to shoe and always fit perfect but these boots are far more narrow than any other pair of Vans I've worn. I thought if I wore them enough I could get them to stretch out and break in but after a month they still hurt my feet. It's a shame because besides that flaw, they are warm and made well.

Got these as a gift and I was stoked on how comfortable they were. I took the gamble and wore them on an elk hunt. Didn't make it through the 5 day hunt.

The toe cap is coming unglued from the mesh fabric where the toe crease is on both boots. I've had these for 6 days!! It must be a defect in the glue because these are pretty expensive for that to be happening already. Other than that I love the way they look and feel.

Way too stiff and heavy. Walking in them felt like ski boots.

Had gotten these for work and didn't last me 3 months before it started to rip on me. Good for occasional hiking, not for everyday use.

I purchased these shoes for work, nothing rigorous but a lot of walking. First observation was that the boot was tight however it subsided after being broken in. The laces weren't long enough to go all the way up. After about a week or two the glue on the sides started separating from the shoe which was the most disappointing. Vans Customer Service was extremely helpful during the notification though which assisted. I offered to product test for Vans related to a patrol boot or to help improve upon it but got no word back so hopefully the next ones will be the winners

I know they won't read this but it would be nice

I wear a men's 7.5/womens 9 in all my vans shoes. I bought these for a trip to Zion & discovered on my trip that they run about 1/2 size too small. I could not wear for more than 1 hr. The back of the boot is also hard & rubbed the back of my upper ankle area causing blisters. Can't return because due to return window closed. Can't use these boots at all.

I wear a men's size 7.5/women's 9 in all my Vans shoes. Ordered online for a hiking trip & didn't realize until I wore them that they run about 1/2 size too small. The Gortex high top is very stiff & rubbed the bottom back of my legs raw. The toe box is also very narrow. They're cool looking boots, but overall they're the most uncomfortable hiking boot I've ever worn. I'm very upset since these were very expensive boots, the return window has closed & I cannot return for a bigger size since these boots have been discontinued.

What we got...Black and Gold is the only dark option? The previous versions had the Blackout version which I was trying to buy at a local store...out of my size and it appears it was the previous model (VN0A5I11 - Sk8-Hi Gore-Tex MTE-3 '24)

I purchased a size 9 which is what I wear for ALL my boots. Way too big. My brother who's a 10.5 tried them and he even has a little space as well. Vans doesn't do exchanges only return them rebuy. Not even able to get help from local Vans store

Vans finally makes a good looking boot and they don't keep them in stock. All the stores I talk to say probably will be getting rid of them and not to have hopes up of more coming in. Vans needs to make more. They are losing out on a lot of money.

These do not keep your feet warm. Wore these and wool socks, and my toes were in the most pain I've ever felt from being cold. Disappointed.

I like the way these look and I have a pair of the ultra range sneaker. I personally love them and have found their durability to be terrific for what I've thrown at them. I thought maybe the boot would be a good choice but based on all these reviews I do not see why I would buy these. The price point is absurd but the issues are profound. It's a shame because like I mentioned I have a model of this shoe already. But these numerous issues with the design, integrity and function of the boot make it a hard NO until I see drastic improvement from Vans. I don't even want to take that chance with that price-point, either.

I paid over $300. For these boots last year and they absolutely shredded apart in less than 3 month, im an electrician, there's no reason for it. Then I couldn't get a hold of anyone at Vans to fix it. It seems they just didn't care. Terrible boot guys

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. That being said they are separating at the seams where my foot bends after only a few months of occasional wear. I've emailed Van's to see if they'll stand by their product and do the right thing? We'll see? I'll update this review if they do.

Size 13 fits more like a size 12

Ok, cmon Vans STILL isn't making size 14 or 15 in most of their shoes??? I'd love to try a pair but still no size 14. Only shoes they carry big sizes in are the classics.

I recently bought these shoes for my partner. Not even 2 weeks in, the shoes started to fall apart at various spots. CHEAP PRODUCT, DO NOT PURCHASE.

Boots are comfy but only wore not even a month they started busting

Bought on 12/26/22 It is 1/18/23 boots have less than 25 total miles in them and they are already falling apart and leaking. Can't handle the Sierra Snow I guess.

Wore these for less than a month, and both boots fell apart. Seams ripped and were no longer weatherproof. I have owned vans for 40 years an have never had this happen. I have read so many reviews like this, vans should do the right thing and discontinue these boots or cut the price in half.
