This coat is absolutely perfect! It’s warm, soft, the pockets are easy entry, the length is spot on, the fabric is just as I expected as well. I’m completely satisfied! I first tried a medium but had no room for movement in the arms while wearing a sweater, so I returned it (thanks Zappos for easy returns!) for a large and that made the difference. I’m 5’7, 140lbs and usually wear medium tops. Excellent coat!

I love this jacket! Based upon reviews i had seen on other sites, I got one size larger than i usually wear. Worked out perfectly. It is lightweight, and not cumbersome. Keeps the wind off, and i love that it covers my bum and legs. Nothing from the lining came off on my clothing. Completely satisfied!

Love the lining, however the sleeves in both the xl and 2XL feel the same width/diameter and there is no way a sweater could be worn with the narrow arms. The arm length was nice, however.

This is a great looking jacket and seems like it would be warm. But unfortunately have to return because it’s too tight. I normally wear a large in all Columbia jackets but this one has no room in the hips/stomach/arms to wear anything other than a light shirt underneath. If you size up should be good!

Inner lining sheds like crazy. I wore it around the house to test it out and it got all over everything.

The jacket is well made and very warm. As much as I wanted to keep, I decided against it even though it is only wearable with a thin top, such as a blouse or t-shirt , it doesn't give the room for even a thin sweater. As description states, it is a "fitted" jacket"

I bought this jacket for my 87 year old mother. I ordered one size larger than she usually wears so she could wear extra layers. At 115 lbs, the medium was too small for her, it just about gave her an eating disorder! I worry about keeping her weight up as it is, so thanks Columbia.

Very skinny arms and tight fit! I’m only 120 lbs and the Medium was snug! Cold bites right through the coat, but soft lining.

This coat runs very small. I'm on my 3rd try to get the size right because I love the coat. I have my doubts on it fitting. The fact that it runs small should be in the description so customers can adjust their size.

I love this jacket; it is very warm. I bought an XL, which is my regular size, it's a little snug. It's hard to zip, but it's still my favorite jacket. Would buy again (in a larger size).

I am regularly a Large but ordered xl based on other reviews and the jacket fit well. Not to loose or to tight. It is a warm jacket, good enough to cover you when wearing just wearing a t shirt underneath and the weather is 30-40F. It is not heavy either.

I LOVE this jacket. Lightweight yet so warm. I sized up because it does run tighter than other Columbia jackets perhaps because of the fleece lining. I normally wear a Small in Columbia, but had to go with a Medium with this one.

I just received this jacket today and I fell in love when I tried it on. It's so comfortable, warm and light weight. For reference I'm 171 5'5 and I got a size Large. Lots of reviews say it runs small so I was thinking I had to return this to get an xl, however the large fit me perfectly.

The jacket runs small. I usually use XL but it didn't fit me I had to return it. The Sherpa looks very warm and comfy. I hope to find another one.

This jacket runs very small through the arms and bust. I am 5’10 and weigh 150. I wear medium tops in almost everything but this was very snug in the sleeves and bust. Surprisingly, the arms were long enough and the overall length was good. I’d like to return for a large but they are sold out in the color I chose. If you are very slight in the upper body, with thin arms, this may work in your normal size, for me, it was just too tight and no room for layering.

Very nice coat. This will be a great coat for the fall. My only issue is the sleeves are tapered too much. You can't wear a smart watch comfortably or view it with the sleeves being so tight. I would have sized up to a medium if i had kept the tags on it.
